The extravagant press release venue was splendidly decorated. Countless colourful balloons floated against the ceiling. Rows of chairs were arranged against the walls. At the centre of the event hall, there was a long, rectangr dining table. Various exquisite fruits and desserts were avable for the guests.
The service staff carried trays of red wine and cocktails as they weaved through the crowd.
Every so often, a guest would pick up a drink for a taste.
At the end of the event hall, there was an elevated square stage around twenty metres square wide.
The moment Bai Jingrou stepped into the venue, she had been seeking her target.
As expected, she found a middle-aged man dressed in a ck suit. She immediately approached him. “Hello. May I know if you are CEO Yi, Yi Jinbin?”
“I am.” Yi Jinbin sized her up in confusion. “You are?”
“I am ‘Xing Feng’ Company’s project manager, Bai Jingrou. I’m representing mypany to attend this event.” She stretched her hand out. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“From what I know, ‘Xing Feng’ is a fashionpany. We haven’t invited anyone from yourpany.” Yi Jinbin did not shake her hand.
“It’s like this.” Bai Jingrou smiled and said, “Although you haven’t invited us, my brother is a top yer in the game that yourpany runs. He owns two gaming ounts and obtained two invitation cards. Thus, I followed him here.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, CEO Yi. I am Bai Chenxi. I’m also the person in-charge of Chen Xi Corporation.” Bai Chenxi also wanted to shake his hand.
Yi Jinbin would not believe in Bai Jingrou’s words. This was because the siblings did not look like gamers who would invest enough time and effort to be top yers.
On the other hand, it wasn’t difficult to purchase invitation cards from actual top yers who had been invited.
The two of them had likelye for other reasons.

Bai Jingrou maintained a graceful smile. “It’s like this. My brother is here to take a look at yourpany. On the other hand, I’m representing ‘Xing Feng’ Fashion Company to be here. ‘Xing Feng’ is keen on stepping into the gaming industry. As it has only been two years since yourpany was first set up, we’re interested in acquiring yourpany…”
Yi Jinbin’s expression was stony as he responded shortly. “I’m not open to a discussion on this issue.” The director herself had stated earlier that theirpany was not avable for sale.
“CEO Yi, you haven’t listened to our offer… mypany is offering a very generous sum.”
“Miss Bai, from what I know, ‘Xing Feng’ Fashion Company isn’t making as much profit as our Jiao Yang Company is. What are you guys going to rely on to purchase ourpany?” Yi Jinbin’s expression was filled with disdain.
“Even if you won’t ept our offer, we can discuss a cooperation deal. ‘Xing Feng’ Fashion Company is open to bing a shareholder…”
If she sessfully closed this deal or helped theirpany be a shareholder, she would be able to obtain the share of profits that her CEO had promised her.
