    The ck-robed middle-aged man’s eyes turned cold. Then he raised his right arm and flicked his fingers. A strong gust of wind shot from his fingers with a whoosh and instantly struck Meng Lei on the chest.

    As though it were piercing through weak, fragile tofu, it actually pierced through Meng Lei’s terrifyingly and incredibly tough and sturdy divine body that could withstand the Dark Demonic Dragons’ chaotic bombardment of attacks. It made a pitch-dark and bloody hole in him in a split second.

    “Meng Lei, he’s a higher deity!”


    Dod gave him a timely warning.


    “A higher deity!”


    “He’s actually a higher deity!”


    In the sky, a great distance away, a huge jolt went through the Beast God and the Titan Spiritual God at the same time. Looks of incredulity also surfaced in their eyes almost simultaneously.


    “That guy is actually a higher deity!”


    The Beast God murmured to himself, “I should have thought of that a long time ago. How can an intermediate deity possibly subdue that many Demon God-level subordinates?”


    “Just what kind of huge secret is that kid carrying on him? He’s rmed even a higher deity?”


    The Titan Spiritual God found this inconceivable.

    The Beast God let out a faint sigh and added, “That kid’s doomed for sure, and the secret on him will also be taken from him.

    “You’re courting death!”


    The ck-robed middle-aged man’s countenance turned cold, and another strong gust of wind shot toward Meng Lei. However, Meng Lei vanished from where he was without waiting for the gust of wind to hit him this time.


    By the time he reappeared, he had already shown up bizarrely behind the ck-robed middle-aged man. The Grim Reaper Scythe appeared out of nowhere and swung right at his head.


    “It’s useless!”


    The ck-robed middle-aged man shook his head lightly. As though he had eyes at the back of his head, his head tilted slightly to the side and easily dodged the incredibly sharp Grim Reaper Scythe. Then, he raised his right fist and smashed it behind him, striking Meng Lei right on his chest.


    “Ugh!”


    A wave of great force assaulted Meng Lei. He felt as if a heavy hammer had hit him on the chest. Intense, severe pain came over him, and he coughed up blood right away.


    “Nice one!”


    Meng Lei teleported and appeared some distance away. There was blood at the corners of his lips. He said, “Higher deities are indeed powerful and mighty. Looks like normal physical attacks really can’t do anything to you at all.”


    “Stop your futile and useless struggling.” The ck-robed middle-aged man said aloofly, “The more you struggle, the more despair you’ll only feel.”


    “Is that so?”


    Meng Lei teleported behind him again. Two bursts of ck mes suddenly shot out of his eyes and struck the ck-robed middle-aged man.

    The ck mes immediately started to ze away uponnding and appeared to be spreading.


    The ck-robed middle-aged man’s expression changed slightly. ck fog rose from his hand. Then, he actually flung away the ck mes on him with a casual swipe.


    “Netherworld Divine Fire!” The ck-robed middle-aged man’s eyes bore into Meng Lei. “You’re a descendant of the Divine Netherworld Phoenixes?”


    Meng Lei didn’t answer him. Instead, he was looking at the Netherworld Divine Fire that had been flung aside. He said, “Even the Netherworld Divine Fire is ineffective on you. Looks like I’m really out of options.”


    “Stop the meaningless struggles.”


    The ck-robed middle-aged man said coldly, “I don’t care whether you’re part of the Grim Reapers or a Divine Netherworld Phoenix descendant. Hand over that thing. Otherwise—”


    “I had originally intended to kill you and devour your life force so that I can break through to the higher deity stage, but it evidently looks like I can’t do that anymore.”
