Chapter 360: Reviving The King, Greetings, My Master

    “You’re here.”

A boorish voice abruptly rang out.

Meng Lei suddenly swung his head to the side to see several rays of light shooting out of the Heart of The Existential ne’s surface. Then, they converged into a big burly man d in beast hide and holding a gigantic axe. Boorish and heroic, he had an air that overlooked the whole world around him.

“The Boundless King!” A huge jolt went through Meng Lei, who couldn’t help but exim, “You’re still alive?!”

“No, he’s dead! Take a closer look—the one in front of you right now is just a fragment of his divine spirit.”

Dod’s voice rang out. “The Boundless King is a supreme, juggernaut-ss existence. If he really were still alive, you’d have been ttened a long time ago.”

    “That’s true!”

Realization dawned upon Meng Lei. He wasn’t afraid of anyone in the whole Boundless ne, and this remained true even if the Boundless ne already had a master.

However, the Boundless King was the only exception. After all, that was aputer bug-like existence!

True enough, the Boundless King gave a heartyugh and said, “You don’t need to be so nervous. I have indeed already met my demise. This is a divine spirit fragment that I left on the Heart of The Existential ne.”

Meng Lei nodded lightly in response, but puzzlement filled him the next moment. He said, “Since you have a divine spirit fragment here, then why don’t you seize someone else’s body and be reborn? I believe you definitely have the capability to do so!”

Even a half-deity’s divine spirit fragment was near-immortal and near-indestructible. Should a half-deity die, they could totally just seize someone else’s body ande back to life. This was also the reason why so many evil deities had managed to reincarnate.

Of course, the rebirth process would definitely be fraught with great difficulties. It could only be said to harbor a chance of being reborn. It couldn’t guarantee that one would fully be brought back to life.

That was already the case for even half-deities, let alone the Boundless King. Meng Lei believed that as long as he was willing, he could totally seize someone else’s body,e back to life, and make a name for himself once more.

The Boundless ne shook his head and replied, “You’re not wrong. I can indeed make use of the divine spirit fragment that I left on the Heart of The Existential ne toe back to life, but I’m above doing something like that.”

    “Why?”

    Meng Lei was puzzled.

“My divine spirit origin energy has already been destroyed. I won’t be able to return to my peak condition even if I seize someone else’s body ande back to life. I’ll only be able to reach the Great Perfection stage at the very most.”

The Boundless King smiled disdainfully and said, “That is but just mere Great Perfection. I’m above doing something like that!”

His words, however, puzzled Meng Lei all the more. The Boundless King had been a great Juggernaut-ss existence before he had died.

    Juggernaut?

    What was a Juggernaut?

A Chief God that had 100%prehended a type of supremews of nature... That was what a Juggernaut was!

Since he could cultivate and reach the Great Perfection stage, then he could continue to cultivate further, couldn’t he? With his memories from the past, prehending supremews of nature shouldn’t be too difficult, right?

He shouldn’t have any problem returning to his peak.

“Meng Lei, the rumors say that the Boundless King didn’t cultivatews of nature but just his body.”

Having seen through Meng Lei’s puzzlement, Dod exined, “He’s said to be the only existence that had ever managed to cultivate his body to the Juggernaut stage!”

    “A Juggernaut-level body? No wonder!”

A huge jolt went through Meng Lei as realization dawned upon him.

“My circumstances are unique, so it’s extremely difficult for me to return to my peak. It’s impossible unless I can find my divine body from back then!”

    The Boundless King sighed.

    “I see.”

Meng Lei let out a small sigh, too.

    “But I’ve seen hope now!”

The Boundless King looked at Meng Lei and said, “Although it’s just a tiny sliver of hope, pared to the huge returns that rebirth would bring, I’m willing to stake everything on it!”

    Meng Lei perked up.

The Boundless King’s eyes were bright and intense as he asked, “Little fellow, you’veprehended time-basedws of nature, haven’t you?”

    “Yes!”

Meng Lei didn’t keep it a secret. Besides, he couldn’t, anyway. As the master of the existential ne, nothing that happened on the Boundless ne would escape the Boundless King’s control. As such, he must also have witnessed him fusing five types ofws of nature together andprehending time-basedws of nature.

“Can you let me feel it?”

The Boundless King had a fervent look on his countenance.

Meng Lei nodded slightly. Then, he reached his arm out, pointed at the Boundless King, andmanded, “Freeze!”

    Buzz!

A ripple of energy that contained time-basedws of nature quietly spread into the vicinity, enveloping the Boundless King and the air 100 meters around him.

    Whoosh!

The Boundless King became still, as did the air around him.

To be more urate, they didn’t be “still”. Rather, time had stopped temporarily—the time within 100 meters of where the Boundless King was had stopped temporarily!

A brief momentter, Meng Lei dismissed the time-basedws of nature, and time within those 100 meters began to flow once more.

    “The stopping of time!”

A glint appeared in the Boundless King’s eyes. “It is indeed true blue time-basedws of nature! Never would I have thought that someone would actually be able toprehend time-basedws of nature in this wide universe!”

The Boundless King eximed with admiration, “We actually all know that apart from the four major supremews of nature, there’s also another type of supremews of nature that can control time in this world. Even so, knowing is one thing, while discovering andprehending it is another thing altogether.

“You’re the first person to haveprehended time-basedws of nature. You can definitely be said to be amazingly gifted and extraordinarily talented!”

Dod was displeased at hisment right away. It immediately raised its voice and said, “What kind of nonsensical ‘first person to haveprehended time-basedws of nature’ is that?! The God of Time was the first!”

Rather amused, Meng Lei replied, “The Boundless King died before the God of Time. It’s very normal that he would misunderstand. Don’t hold it against a dead man!”

“Hmph! You’ve already be the first person to haveprehended time-basedws of nature. Of course you wouldn’t argue about it. Hypocrite!” said a displeased Dod sulkily.

    Meng Lei rolled his eyes.

The Boundless King went on. “Time-basedws of nature can manipte time itself, so it has a chance of reviving me, albeit the chances are slim and close to non-existent.”

The Boundless King turned to Meng Lei and asked, “Little fellow, are you willing to revive me?”

“I’m willing to give it a go, but you should also understand that with my current abilities, I can’t even revive a mortal, let alone someone like you. After all, you’ve already been gone for such a long time, too,” replied Meng Lei with a shake of his head.

    “I understand, naturally.”

    The Boundless King nodded lightly.

“Secondly, nothing is free in this world,” the corners of Meng Lei’s lips curled upward, “If you want me to revive you, then you’ll have to show me enough sincerity!”

    “Hahaha, of course!”

The Boundless King let out a heartyugh and said, “Disregarding the fact that I couldn’t possibly have you help me for free, regardless, I would still invest in you with everything I’ve got and help you to grow faster if only to have you be capable of reviving me as soon as possible!”

Light shed across Meng Lei’s eyes.

“Although I’ve already perished, I still have the riches that I saved up when I was still alive.”

The Boundless King said with a big smile, “Little fellow, as long as you swear a divine oath and promise to revive me, I’ll give you all my riches!”

All the wealth that he saved up in his whole lifetime!

Meng Lei’s eyes lit up brightly, and he swore the divine oath without hesitation.

“As long as the Boundless King gives me all of the riches that he had umted when he was still alive, I’m willing to revive the Boundless King...”

An inexplicable force from an unseen world enveloped Meng Lei in the instant that the divine oath was sessfully made. Meng Lei knew intuitively that this was the power of the oath. Should he go against his oath, then...

    “Great!”

The Boundless Kingughed heartily. Then, he reached out and pointed at Meng Lei, upon which a golden beam then entered the area in between his brows. Meng Lei closed his eyes and swiftly took it in. After a brief moment, he couldn’t help butugh wryly.

The Boundless King’s riches were indeed vast and enormous, so much so that Meng Lei could hardly imagine it. However, just like the God of Time, that guy had actually divided them into quite a few batches and stored them in different ces!

If Meng Lei wanted to get his hands on the riches, then he’d have to look for them one by one. Tedious and troublesome, this was totally a scam!

“Dammit, why do I feel like I’ve been had?”

Meng Lei felt a headacheing on. He’d initially thought that the Boundless King’s riches were all stored and hidden on the Boundless ne. How convenient would that have been? Yet...

“It’s up to you now, little fellow!” The Boundless King was full of anticipation. “If you seed, we’ll naturally meet again!

“Oh, and by the way, do help those descendants of mine out a little if you can. Thanks!”

Then, his big and tall body dispersed with a boom, turning into countless multi-colored light particles that dissipated into nothingness and vanishedpletely into the universe.

The Boundless King... had fully departed this time!

    “He’s gone?”

    Dod appeared out of nowhere.

    “Yeah, let’s go.”

Meng Lei then looked at the Heart of The Existential ne a short distance away. The divine spirit mark left on the Heart of The Existential ne hadpletely disappeared, rendering it a master-less object now.

“The Boundless King sure is big-hearted and unrestrained!” Dod sighed and said, “He dispersed his divine spirit fragment and erased himself right away after you agreed to his request. His courage and boldness are not what the average man canpare to.”

“He’s the Boundless King, y’know!” Meng Lei sighed emotionally. Then, he said, “It’s time to go, Dod.”

“Go? Aren’t you going to refine the Heart of The Existential ne?” asked a puzzled Dod.

“All the Boundless Giants would be dead by the time I’m done refining the Heart of The Existential ne.” Meng Lei shook his head and said, “Let’s go. Let’s take care of the foreign existential ne experts first.”

    “That’s true.”

    Dod said no more.

Meng Lei left his divine spirit mark on the Heart of The Existential ne so that he could locate it again next time. Then, he returned to the Monarch Shrine with Dod.

    “You’re out?”

The Great Prophet looked at Meng Lei and asked agitatedly, “Have you met the great Lord Juggernaut?”

    “Yes, I have.”

    Meng Lei nodded lightly.

    “Greetings, my new master!”

The Great Prophet dropped onto his knees with a thud and prostrated before Meng Lei with a face full of piousness.

“Your new master?” Master raised an eyebrow. “Why do you address me so?”

“The Lord Juggernaut has issued a holy decree just now,” the Great Prophet replied respectfully, “From this point on, you shall be the new master of us Boundless Giants!”

    “I see.”

Meng Lei waved and said, “Rise!”

    “Thank you, Master!”

The Great Prophet rose to his feet respectfully.

“How’s the situation outside?” asked Meng Lei dispassionately.

“My n’s children have nearly died out.”

A hint of grief shed across the Great Prophet’s eyes. The Boundless Giants that guarded Monarch Mountain were the strongest and most elite men on the whole of the Boundless ne.

Now that all of them had been wiped out, the blow to the Boundless Giants could be said to be extremely great. Without tens of thousands of years of recuperation, they could forget about recovering and getting back on their feet.

“Let’s go. We’ll go out and take a look.”

Meng Lei took the lead and started to walk out of the shrine. The Great Prophet hurriedly followed after him. The current Great Prophet was quick on his feet and walked smoothly. Which part of him even looked like he was about to croak?

    That old coot!

Like what the Great Prophet had said, nearly all the Boundless Giants guarding Monarch Mountain had been wiped out. Only Olio, the strongest among them, and a handful of others were still putting up a resistance.

Even so, they had already been pushed back to the area right in front of the shrine and were stubbornly defending the Monarch Shrine. On top of that, every one of them sported injuries all over themselves and was riddled in wounds. They were already close to breaking down.

    “The losses sure are great...”

Meng Lei shook his head lightly. Then, he said dispassionately, “That’s enough.”

    Boom!

He wasn’t particrly loud, yet his voice boomed right next to everyone’s ears like a p of thunder. It shocked everyone into halting their motions, and all of them looked over at once.

    “Who’s he?”

    “Great Prophet?”

All the experts from each major existential ne turned to Meng Lei with a hint of burning fervency in their eyes. So, he was the Great Prophet, the one that knew about the Monarch’s treasure?

    “Who’s that guy?”

On the other hand, Olio and several other Boundless Giants’ expressions changed drastically, and they looked at Meng Lei with hostility. “Who are you? Why are you in the Monarch Shrine?”

“Olio, don’t you show any disrespect now!” The Great Prophet barked, “This is our, the Boundless Giants’, new master!”

“Our new master?” Olio was stunned. “What do you mean by that, Great Prophet?”

“The new master has already met Lord Juggernaut. Lord Juggernaut has personally appointed him as his heir, so he’s naturally the Boundless Giants’ new master!”

The Great Prophet’s countenance darkened, and he barked, “Hurry and pay your respects to our new master!”

    “Greetings, my new master!”

Even though Olio’s head was reeling from the news, he didn’t dare to question the Great Prophet and hastily bowed in greeting.

    “Greetings, my new master!”

The other surviving Boundless Giants also knelt and kowtowed. Even Big Brother Olio had gotten onto his knees, so how would they possibly dare to raise any objections?

“The master is the master himself. Why is there a distinction between the old and the new? Remove the word ‘new’ in the future.” Then, Meng Lei said dispassionately with a wave, “Rise, everyone.”

    “Yes, Master!”

    “Master?”
