As soon as they jumped past the broken wall, they entered the ancient city.


    The Ancient Titans were huge humanoid creatures that towered far above men, their houses were not different as they all towered to the skies like skyscrapers, except they were mostly destroyed and were just ruins.


    Killing the 3 undead Titans was just the start though.


    As soon as Legsnded and looked ahead, he saw a dozen Titans already marching towards them from different parts of the ancient city ruin.


    The streets were dpidated but they still had their basic function as roads.


    "Master, they areing!"


    Christensen yelled as he pointed the pistols at them while mounting Leo in the case that they needed to escape.


    Legs looked onest time before turning to face Brutus.


    "Do you still have his scent?"


    "Yes".


    "Then lead us to him".


    Seeing so many Titans already when they just barely made it here, Legs dread the thought of the current state of the Emperor.


    He was not about to let a member of his gathering die so stupidly, he already went too deep already, there was no choice to withdraw any longer.


    "Lead us to him!" Legs ordered again.


    He turned to face Christensen. "Aim at their eyes and shoot urately".


    "Blind them and leave the killing to me".


    "Yes, master".


    "This way". Brutus led the way as he charged into the ruined ancient city.

    As soon as Christensen pulled the trigger at the undead Titans, still in his integrated state with Predator, Legs exploded with speed.


    His ws swiped faster than bullets as he tore holes into the bodies of the Titans, mostly their legs, weakening their stance which opened the window of opportunity for him to finish off their crystals.

    Most of the Titans were indicated by the virtual interface as Grade E powerhouses, but in battle, their effective strength was much higher.


    Though Legs could feel that their strength was not up to the Grade D realm yet, he felt like their strength was far above the Grade E realm still.


    And due to their colossal size, fighting against them was a pain in the ass.


    Legs charged ahead of Brutus as he cleared the path for the Shadow Hound, opening the way for him to keep on tracking the Emperor.


    In this ancient ruin, Predator became so powerful that Legs literally became unstoppable, he steamrolled through the Titans despite their size.


    Leo''s only job was to transport Christensen, while Christensen''s only job was to shoot at the Titan''s eyes in a bid to blind them to make the killing easier for his master. He was doing a good job at this.


    Having interacted with his master and his master''s master multiple times already, Brutus had a clear idea of their strength.


    He left all the fighting to them as he focused on tracking.


    Like he expected, he was not let down as all the Titans fell before he could get to their position. But his eyes turned grim though as time went on.


    As time went on, Brutus detected more of the foul smell that represented the Titans, more of them were charging in their direction.


    Christensen also detected it.


    "Master, more of them areing!" Christensen warned.


    Without reply, Brutus kept on charging through the streets while Legs kept up with him, until they finally were boxed into a cage.


    After the fall of the Ancient Titan Empire, thousands of Titans were buried in their home and now through some ritual, they all woke up.


    This was the home ground of the Titans, it was easy for them to corner intruders. From every direction, Titans came as they boxed them in.


    Legs did not give up. "Christensen, keep on shooting".


    "Brutus, keep on moving".


    For the first time, Brutus no longer obeyed Legs and his reason soon became known as a Titan towering about 10 meters tall and was different from the others arrived. This Titan was d with war gear, a Warrior Titan.

    "Holy sh*t!" Legs stopped in his tracks on seeing this guy''s status.


    His level showing question marks meant that this guy was far more higher-leveled than him. Health and mana points showing question marks meant that this cursed freak of nature had an unlimited reserve for both.


    Though he had not seen this Warrior Titan in action, the 3 active abilities sent his danger senses tingling, even the Titan''s weapon sent chills down his spine.

    Even before he could shout, Brutus, Leo, and his student already turned as they escaped back to where they came from.


    "…" Legs was stunned speechless.


    He dared not tarry though as he sprinted after them in pursuit.

    Just after he took a few steps, Legs heard the vibrating sound of a massive leg stomping on the ground. "Oh sh*t, we''re not gonna make it!"


    The Warrior Titan was about to use its Double-ded sh skill.


    Legs ditched escaping as his eyes rapidly scanned his surroundings. In this delicate moment of life and death, his brain processed information at an outrageous speed that was even faster than aputer.


    He saw the nearby destroyed building that seemed like a church, 6 others that seemed like normal homes, and another that seemed like a watchtower.


    ''A watchtower!'' Legs''s eyes widened in enlightenment.


    "This way! Follow me!"


    Without a second of hesitation, Christensen turned Leo as he sprinted after his master. Brutus was stunned but he dared not stay alone as he went after them.


    In just a few seconds, they rushed into the massive watchtower.


    Boom!


    Just in time for the Double-ded sh to arrive as it shook the tower.


    The watchtower could not withstand the powerful blow, it vibrated slightly before starting to crumble and copse.


    Legs barely escaped with his student and their beasts to the top of the watchtower when it started copsing, they despaired.


    Legs hit his head. "Think! Think!"


    "Think fast or we die!"


    While the watchtower crumbled, another idea came to his mind.


    Legs rushed to hold Brutus as he shook the Shadow Hound. "You have shadow powers right? Christensen told me you can use it to be invisible".


    The Shadow Hound coldly looked at him as he easily caught into his meaning, then he replied. "Yes, I can merge into the shadows and turn invisible but I can only do it perfectly for myself".


    "When including others, they won''t be able to fully turn invisible".


    "And the more people that I do it for, the less the effects".


    "Do it!" Legs yelled.


    Without another word, the Shadow Hound activated the ability.
