    The girl inclined her head down and tried to remember thest thing that happened before she lost consciousness.


    "I was fighting the lord beast then something heavy thrashed me...but Who could''ve saved me??? Ahh...Rio??? Is he alright" she mumbled inwardly in worry as her face darkened at the possibility of her crush being hurt.

    She heard the shing of metals as her attention moved to it.


    ''What''s happening outside?''


    She hurriedly got up from her ce and started walking outside with a limping movement.


    Just when N reached the entrance she saw two familiar figures.


    A blonde-haired man was facing the boy she loved. Rio had a beautiful sword in his hands, the de dripped with fresh crimson blood. Four heads and a headless corpse were scattered on the ground.


    It didn''t take her long to understand the situation.


    A dozen meters away Ruben spoke in a voice filled with arrogance, "This is over... I thought I wouldn''t need to use this beast soul for you but you seem to be stronger than how that bitch said. With this, you cannot escape death even if you are a cockroach.

    Just when N heard him ''you can''t escape death'' she used all the mana in her body to enchant her legs and shot out from her ce like a rocket.

    His heart shook as he saw the cheerful girl, who always teased him with a vibrant smile, getting fatally wounded.


    He appeared right beside her taking her in his embrace and not letting her copse.


    His body was covered in her crimson blood as the Magenta-haired beauty was lying in his arms, on the verge of death.


    "Shit!... what have you done...this is all your fault, Bastard..." Ruben cursed him and held his own head with fear as he saw he injured his future fiance, the daughter of the mailon family.


    He thought he wouldn''t have to worry about killing Rio as no one would find out. But N''s died so there was a high chance Talia would expose him and tell others it was him.


    "Before you touch him, you need to step over my dead body." Aggard voice filled with threat came from the girl who was coiled by Rio in his embrace.


    "What a bitch...I thought it was just that bastard...but seems like the me of love is burning on both sides equally. HAHA!!... I''m going to ughter him so he can apany you to hell." Ruben cursed her, summoning his beast soul.


    A shining sharp sword appeared in his hand that had its hilt decorated with ck stripes.


    Rio who was embracing N, hurled his silver-bloom king sword as he was already charging it when the blonde-haired man was speaking to the beauty.


    With a rumbling sound, the silver bloom king sword traveled toward the target who was preparing himself tounch at the duo.


    "What a fool..." Ruben mocked him as he found it funny, thinking he would be able to dodge the uing attack easily.


    He summoned his sword beast soul and shed at the uing flying strike, with a face filled with arrogance.


    Just when he thought he would sh the uing projectile with his sword to parry it, the silver-bloom king vanished in thin air.


    His eyes flickered with bewilderment as he felt a chilly air run down his neck.

    A head rolled down on the ground whose facial expression was filled with a mix of surprise and pain, blood sshed from its neck like a fountain, covering the ground red.


    The silver-bloom king sword disappeared after cutting the head from Ruben''s body.


    Rio''s eyes were already on the girl in his embrace who was on the verge of dying.


    His heart was burning with guilt as the boy failed her always who had saved him from the attack, taking the blows meant for him.


    He should have been able to protect her but instead, she came to give away her precious life for the person who never reciprocated her stubborn love, and for the person who she loved without any hesitation to one day conquer his heart.


    "Why N, why" Rio''s voice was shaking as he asked the lively girl in his embrace.


    "Why do you think, silly...Because I love you more than my life" She spoke with a leaden voice, a feeble smile on her face.


    "But I always treated you coldly..." The boy said in a sorrowful tone, his [Heart Sutra] didn''t work to keep him calm.


    "That doesn''t matter to me. Because I know even if you don''t love me you are mine. No one can take away my right to love my darling." N''s words were filled with her stubbornness and love.


    Even when she was dying she didn''tck her unwavering resolve to love her boy.


    "I don''t understand you...why you''re so foolish" His voice was filled with agony and confusion as this brazen girl had broken all limits of craziness.


    N responded with a feeble smile, "You don''t understand this but I''m happy that I got to spend myst moments with you. Dying in your embrace is the best thing I could ever wish for."


    His eyes moistened as he remembered how rudely he hurt her from time to time.


    She caressed his cheeks with her palm which was filled with her own blood, covering his face in red.


    "I hope you remember this..." She said as if going to say to him a piece of great news.


    Rio waited for her to speak as he gazed at her with his eyes that were flickering with concern and unknown emotions.


    "Life is hard but you''re my sweetheart...argh..." N spoke in a sweet voice but it caused her to moan in pain.


    Rio''s heart shattered as he realized that she was dying slowly in his hug. He knew she was slipping away from him, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.


    "I''m sorry, N. I couldn''t save you," he mumbled, tears streaming down his face.


    "Can I sing a song for you? Will you listen to it?" N said, her voice growing weaker.


    Her sudden demand was unexpected but she had written this song to sing for him if he bes her boyfriend in the future but knowing she didn''t have time she requested him to listen to it now.


    He nodded, ruffling her silky magenta hair in his hug.

    WILL YOU MARRY ME?" She sang in an adorable manner and directed her question toward him.


    "I never met a person like you. If I could I would''ve married you." Rio answered, his gaze was filled with worry and guilt.


    "I wish you would''ve told me this before," N said, pinching his cheeks before withdrawing her hand.


    "I don''t know How to save you" his desperate voice was filled with sorrow.


    "I don''t wanna be saved. Let me die peacefully. This life was a tragedy until I met you who fluttered my heart and gave me happiness. But now it''s time I finally go into a deep slumber and rest happily.


    At least in the afterlife, I''ll get to see my mom who may actually love me." N''s face was stered withfort as if happy to finally escape this prison.


    Rio ced his forehead on hers, his heart heavy with emotion as he was stuck in a bad situation.


    He never thought one day this would happen. The boy wanted to avoid her so he wouldn''t hurt her but she still came to him and he ended up causing her to be fatally wounded.


    N was joyous as she saw him worry about her. She could feel his forehead on her as the Magenta-haired beauty was ready to leave this world with a happy heart.
