It seemed that Sauros hadn''t informed anyone about that yet, so everyone congratted him. At the same time, they told Aion toe to visit since he could cross that distance in half a day… a distance that the best ship in the world would need a month to cross.
After that, they left the house and then headed to the entrance of the city altogether. The mood was too rxed, considering that they were going on a difficult mission, but Aion couldn''tin. It was better than letting everyone get nervous with a serious air.
Once everything was ready, Aion created the tform, and then Seris and Ana jumped in. Aion was quite curious to learn now a ship could leave and anchor in that city, but that was something forter. Besides, he was also wondering how he could build a city like that… having a flying fortress would be more than a little bit nice. It would be fucking awesome. If he adds a barrier or something, basically, no one will be able to enter aside from a few people. Aion made a mental note to study how to make those barriers where only people with his blood could cross them. That also could be a problem, though. Since it means that anyone that hurts him will obtain the key.
"We are going untilter," Aion said and then nodded while looking at those four, who waved their hands while smiling.
They began to fly away and soon crossed the barrier. Entering was difficult, but leaving was quite easy… regardless, Seris sighed in relief while Ana was in a good mood.
"Sucks to be you. It must be pretty nice to have a family like that and live in such a ce," Aion said.
"Shut up. Aren''t you also getting along with your brothers and sisterstely?" Seris frowned.
"I am notining about my life," Aion shrugged his shoulders. "I was just trying to be understanding. I guess I can imagine what your parents are thinking."
"Urgh, you definitely can''t. Rather, you are probably wrong," Seris said and then looked away.
Once they left the area, Aion summoned the draconic wanderer and then closed the earth tform with walls and a ceiling. This time, Aion also created some chairs to make sure that the speed wouldn''t push them back every single time. Aion''s idea of an airne in that world wasn''t half bad… Still, the temperature began to drop considerably, and soon they were forced to equip the items that Sauros lent them.
"I hate to explore this area…" Seris said while trembling all over due to the cold.
"How further away is the frozen Tyrant?" Aion asked.<novelsnext></novelsnext>
"When the winds start to freeze this room, and when your friend over there begins to freeze, you will know that we are getting close enough," Seris replied.
While Seris said that, Aion realized that soon they began to slow down since the wind was blowing against them. When he checked the draconic wanderer, even when he was transformed, he was suffering a lot of damage. Still, thanks to his powers as a dragon, he could endure and heal quite fast.
"You looked fine. Howe?" Aion asked while looking at Ana.
"Well… one of the guys that defeated you in the future gave birth to an ice age thatsted for forty years even after your death," Ana replied. "So, I am used to the cold."
Aion thought that he was getting ridiculously strong, but he was just a big fish in a small pond. He couldn''t even begin to imagine how much mana would be necessary to pull that off. His sense of urgency was only getting more powerful over time…
"It is time to start thinking in the long term…" Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "While I only started with this now, I need to start working on building the perfect builds. The more I master sses, the more options I will have further in their trees…"
Aion recalled the time when he decided to focus on leveling up only three sses that had different fighting styles, but things are a lot different now… For each ss, he could only make a single skill reach its peak. Even though he could reset those sses and still keep them at their max level, he couldn''t just change the skill that he focused on improving in mid-battle. Not against decent enemies.
"If what Sauros said is right… maybe I can make better use of these time travels to get stronger," Aion thought. "Going to dungeons and making the death knights clear them several times definitely will help, and it won''t affect the past that much. I just need to be careful of how long I stay in those periods of time since I am getting older in those periods as well. It will be weird if someday I look older than mom."
Ana said that Aion will live for a long time if things go well, but he couldn''t be careless. Regardless, Aion forgot about that when the temperature decreased even more inside, and he was starting to feel really cold even with his high resistance. Seris and Ana began to feed their items with their mana to fight it back, and Aion used some fire and wind magic to heat up things a bit as well.
Seris used a rune to help the draconic wanderer endure the cold a bit more. Still, he was starting to drain a lot more mana from Aion to recover from the damage, so he decided to cancel the summoning. At the same time, Aion had the chance to open a window to see the area ahead, and then he saw a massive ice tornado…
From a distance, it looked like the winds were blowing slowly around that thing. However, it only looked like that because they were fifty kilometers away. The size of that thing was stupid and Aion wondered how such a phenomena could maintain itself...
