Actually, most of the school already knew about Treasure-Seeking Ghost''s evolution into Treasure-Seeking Demon during yesterday’s sports event.
However, the students’ discussions mostly centered on Treasure-Seeking Demon''s ability to break tiles barehanded. Plus, Liu Yao hadn’t been at school during the event, so he hadn’t heard the news right away.

When the bell rang for thest period in the afternoon, everyone packed up their things and started filing out of the ssroom.
A girl with sses, a fairplexion, and a ssic student haircut appeared at the door of ss 1-1.
“Is Qiao Sang here?”
Since receiving her beasts’ energy, Qiao Sang’s hearing had be much sharper, allowing her to pick up on her name even amidst all the chatter. She looked toward the door and saw a girl she didn’t recognize.
But the girl at the door clearly knew Qiao Sang and waved at her with a smile.
“You’re…?” Qiao Sang asked as she walked over to the doorway after packing up.
“I’m Xu Yixuan from the Senior 3 school team. Teacher Sun sent me to get you.” The girl smiled.
<i>So, she’s a senior… </i>Qiao Sang nodded.
“Alright, let’s go.”
On the way, Qiao Sang’s ears took quite a beating. Xu Yixuan looked quiet and well-mannered and spoke in a gentle voice, but she was aplete chatterbox.
From ss 1-1 to Training Ground No. 1, she didn’t close her mouth once.
“Qiao Sang, who named you? Your dad or your mom?”
“It was my…”
“You don’t need to answer; let me guess.”
“…”
“Actually, at the beginning-of-year new student exhibition, I wanted to challenge you, but my sixth sense told me not to, so I didn’t.”
“Did you really make a pact with a third pet beast?”
“How did your Treasure-Seeking Demon learn how to break tiles?”
“Is your me Hound male or female? My ze Dog is male. If yours is the right gender, we could match them up!”

“Is it true that you’re rted to the vice principal?”
“I heard from Teacher Sun that you’re going to participate in the National Beastmaster Tournament for Senior League. That means we’ll have one morepetitor on the Senior 3bat team. “This is Teacher Sun’s training method.” Xu Yixuan exined.
“Every few days, we watch some adrenaline-pumping battle anime to boost our enthusiasm for fighting. I mean, we’re fighting constantly, and except during tasks where we can face different opponents, we’re usually just fighting the same people. If it weren’t for these battle anime to keep us pumped, we’d just be emotionlessbat machines by now.”
“You’ll need to mentally prepare yourself; this isn’t like the Sophomore team. We fight every day.”
Qiao Sang grinned, finally saying her first full sentence since leaving the ssroom.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Xu Yixuan sighed, thinking that her junior was still too young. Her thoughts mirrored her words as she said, “You’re still too young.”
At that moment, the virtual screen disappeared, and the training ground lights turned on. Sun Boyi stood where the screen had been, smiling as he looked at Qiao Sang.
