    Herst words were more of a question than a statement. It was then it dawned in her the issue of her dy. What her holding back was causing his poor soul.


    Rather than uttering a word, Jay gave her a bitter smile and lowered his head. She was right on… spot-on, hitting the nail on the head.


    "I am sorry that my withdrawal and my hurt had put you so much in this misery yet I did not realize it. Jay, your words of love are not nonsense. They make every ounce of sense and they fill my heart with hope."


    She looked deep into his eyes and smiled brightly at him. Words could not exin her joy and how much she valued every little time she had spent with him.


    "Jay, what I am trying to tell you is that never once had your time being wasted. I love it, I cherish it and I always look forward to it. You have shown me the way to heal. You have proven to me that there is hope when all hope seemed lost. You taught me to learn to love and even from your own story, I learnt that the heart can love even though it''s been hurt and I love you for that and many more."


    "Macy, you mean what you said?"


    "Every bit of it, Jay. Every bloody bit of it." Her smile widened as she spoke. She felt her heart feel lifted and at the same time full to the brim just for voicing it out.


    Jay was happy as well but just likest time, he needed to make sure first. He had no doubt she was the one for him but even at that, he needed to be more than sure. "I am not in a rush. I can wait for the time you chose to ept me."


    Macy''s smile did not diminish, rather she reached for his cheeks with her hands and caressed it gently then brought their foreheads together.


    "And that time is now, silly. I ept you. I chose you. I love you, Jay."


    "Are you serious?"


    "Are you doubting me?"


    "I… just… oh well, scratch that. I am not doubting you, Macy. I just want to make sure…"


    "I am not under the influence of any alcohol, love," Macy interjected. "I am me. I am the girl you love and with clear eyes and heart, I proim my love for you."


    Jay''s face lit up, mirroring her own smile. "This has been the best night of my entire life, Macy and I am more than d to be spending it with you."

    Jay reached up for her face as well and gently rubbed her cheeks before moving one hand to the back of her head while maintaining eye contact and bringing their lips together in a slow burn hot kiss.

    Both pairs of eyes shut close to enjoy their kiss and bask in the pleasure they had been depriving themselves of.
