After making his way up to the roof, Milo found Krista looking out over the city, her blonde hair flowing with the gentle breeze. After making his way over to her, he asked what she wanted to talk about. She mentioned that she was curious about how he had be so strong so fast and he went on to exin about his new Fusion skill that allowed him tobine two abilities into a stronger one.


    Hearing this, Krista couldn''t believe how powerful Milo had be, if word got out about his ability to copy and create abilities, it wouldn''t be so far fetched to believe that he and those he cared about would be targeted to get to him. If what he said was true he would get even more powerful as his system grew even more.


    After talking more about what he had done in the practical training ss, he went on to show her his new ability, he did so by creating a small dagger out of ice, due to him still not practicing enough, the dagger was still rough around the edges and only resembled the shape of a knife. Krista was astounded at how powerful his ability could be, when thinking of all the possible things Milo could do with the ice.


    After meeting on the roof and talking for a while, Milo walked Krista back to her dorm. Milo then returned to his own dorm, and prepared for bed.


    Krista was lying in her own bed thinking of Milo, he used to be such a sweet and gentle guy, and while he still was with friends, she couldn''t help but worry about the ruthlessness she had seen when fighting with the water ability student the other day. She was worried that as he grew stronger he would grow out of the kind person he has always been. While thinking more, she realized that this was most likely due to his determination to be stronger. She understood that due to his tragic past he wanted to be strong enough to protect himself, but what she failed to think of was that he also wanted to grow strong enough to defend those he cared about, and she was included in that group of people.


    Once finally getting to bed, Krista woke up the next morning and made her way to ss. Once getting to ss, she wanted to find out more about the X rated ss as that would be the ss Milo would soon be. <novelnext></novelnext>


    When asking around she got very consistent answers that began to worry her. The students who were in the X rated ss were mostly from very powerful families from around the world and had been nurtured to increase the strength of their abilities from the moment they awakened. Most of these students would have big egos as they were raised to be powerful and would most likely feel threatened by a neer like Milo. When asking around more she found that there were only enough students for one X ranked ss in the school unlike all the other ranks which had at least five, and unlike the other ranks, they wouldn''t have practical sses orbat ssesbined with other ranks. The final thing she had discovered was that there was one student who wasn''t from a powerful background and they seemed to bemonly picked on by the other X ranked students.


    While Krista was learning all this new info, she couldn''t help but fear for Milo when getting into the X ranked ss, he would possibly end up like he was in highschool, the target of many people who were stronger than him. While this was all happening, Milo was blissfully unaware as he prepared himself the best he could for the test.


    Milo continued his training over the next few days to be as ready as possible for the retest. On the Friday before his examination, Milo had improved his control over his Ice ability to the point where he could freely shape his ice into many powerful things, he had perfected his dagger making by Wednesday and they were now wickedly sharp and he could pull them out of thin air within a split second. He also had practiced creating his ice spears and they now were muchrger, sharper, and he could now control five at once. Hisst step to this attack he wanted to perfect, was spinning them like a drill in order to deal maximum damage. Finally he had also found a way to focus his ground based ice attack in a single direction when originally it would shoot ice spikes up all around him.


    After thest few days of training, Milo felt he had finally prepared himself the best he could.
