[Location: Salvatore Boarding School, Mystic Falls] [3rd POV]
After hearing ric''s words, Talia was about to walk off, even preparing to wave goodbye to Hope, before the headmaster stopped her "You''reing too Talia"
"Why?" Talia asked, not really understanding why she had to be apart of this conversation.
Landon seemingly agreed as he added "Why does she need toe? I don''t know her" ric hearing this, sighed before speaking "You''reing along because Emma insists that you need to take part in more activities, and I am beginning to agree with her"
Talia inwardly groaned at this, while Hope just touched her arm with a warm smile "Don''t worry, you''ll get used to them doing stuff like this. They made me do the same thing" Talia blinked in slight surprise at the contact, before sighing and nodding.
ric smiled at this, before motioning for the three to follow. Talia walked besides Hope, with Landon walking behind them. Talia made sure to pay attention to where his eyes were looking.
"I''m curious, Landon-Slow down-were you aware of us when you lived in Mystic Falls?" ric asked while walking through the bustling school, while making sure to tell two students that were running, to slow down.
"Uh, I knew Hope went to some fancy boarding school. People in town said it was for troubled rich kids. I see the rich part is true" Landon said, before noticing as a student floated some of her school books with a spell.
"Nobody in town mentioned anyone in here could do that"
Opening the door to his office, ric lead the three into the room "No one in Mystic Falls knows much about us. We blend in just enough. Participate, contribute just enough. Keeps people from asking too many questions"
"What is there to know exactly?" Landon asked.
Talia just silently listened to the conversation, bored with this entire situation, while Hope was trying not to giggle at the exaggerated look of annoyance Talia was making. Leaning over to Hope, Talia whispered "What did he do that made you look so annoyed?"
Hope nced and whispered back "He was trying to im I kissed him, which I didn''t. All we did was dance once, and that was it"
Talia raised an eyebrow at this, before turning back to ric who was giving Hope a look after Landon''s question.
"Well, I used to have a speech prepared, carefully unpeeling theyers mystical history, but it turns out most people have read Harry Potter and are actually cool with me skipping the tee- up" Talia''s face twitched at hearing the mention of Harry Potter, but didn''t say anything. Hope noticed the slight change in expression on Talia''s face, but decided not to ask.
"You''re a school for magic?" Landon asked. Talia deadpanned at the dumb question, while Hope stiffled augh at Talia''s expression.
''This dude just watched a ten year old float books with a spell...what type of dumb question is that'' Talia thought, wondering how it wasn''t obvious already. There was also the fact that he literally watched his brother figure change into a werewolf, and Hope use magic.
"We are a school for the supernatural, which covers a lot of territory. Everyone here has something that makes them special in ways that the outside world....woudn''t understand" ric exined to Landon. Talia was truly beginning to wonder why she was even here right
now.
"So what are you?" Landon asked Hope.
Hope looked ufortable at the question, before looking at Talia and then ric "We should get to ss"
"No. No. Sorry. I don''t mean to be a dick, but I don''t know you or you, and though the image of you whammying a priest is still fresh, I need you here" Landon said, while motioning to ric and Talia in regards to who he doesn''t know.
Sighing Landon asked "Just tell me what all that was in the churchst night?"
Hope hearing this had a sh of annoyance cross her face before replying "What do you think it was?"
"Well, as best as I can reason, either I''ve lost my mind or werewolves are real" Landon replied. Talia slowly began to inch towards the door, ready to leave. She felt like a fourth wheel, as she was sort of just there, and they weren''t really involving her in the conversation. Upon hearing Landon''sment about werewolves, ric and Hope looked at one another, before ric turned to Talia and quickly said "Ah, get back here Talia"
Talia groaned openly before closing the door with a pout, which Hope giggled at. The sound of Hope''s giggle caused Talia''s pout to turn into a slight smile.
Landon frowned at the interaction, before shaking it off and returning to the important conversation "Th-This is beyond insane. How is that even possible?"
Talia snorted at the question "It''d take hours to answer that question"
ric nodded at herment, as it was true "As she said, it is a long story, involving an ancient, vengeful witch and a bloodline curse. We cover all that in origins of the species, grade
six"
"In sixth grade at my school, we learned the state capitals" Landon replied.
"That is taught here as well" ric replied.
"I have some questions about Rafael" ric added
"Like what?" Landon asked.
"The normal stuff, like who he killed recently" Talia interrupted, causing ric to sigh already knowing the reaction this was about to get out of Landon.
Landon turned and red at Talia, Talia just looked him in the eyes with an amused smirk, causing him to eventually back down and turn to ric.
"Why would she ask me that?" Landon asked, angry that this random girl would ask a
question like that.
"The werewolf gene lies dormant until the carrier takes a human life. If Rafael triggered his curse, it''s...because he killed someone. And we don''t ept cold blooded killers into our program" ric said with a serious expression on his face.
"He''s not a killer" Landon instantly replied.
"Well someone obviously died, be it intentional or not, the curse doesn''t really differentiate, as long as he is the cause of the death, the curse activates" Talia replied, causing Landon to
scowl at her.
"That, and I also know a little bit about his background" ric added, before continuing. "Neglectful birth parents. Orphaned in adolescence. Six foster homes in seven years. Prone to fits of anger" ric listed the various reasons he could have a motive for murder. "Yeah, you could just as easily be reading my file, that''s what it''s like out there for people like him and me" Landon said, noticeably getting agitated now.
"All we are doing is trying to help him. This ce is a home to a lot of students, and is a safe ce for them to learn their powers. But...if we take him in, we need to make sure that he is not a threat" ric said, trying to calm down Landon while also adding why it is they need to
know.
"His girlfriend....Cassie. Last month...he was driving, there was a storm, he took a turn too fast. And then he started acting out. At first I thought it was just grief. And then maybe...maybe drugs or something. And then her threw a 200-poundwnmower 50 feet across the yard. That was when our foster parents called in the priest. I guess they thought he was possessed by the devil" Landon said, exining who he had "Killed".
Talia was silent during this exnation, as she didn''t really dislike Rafael all that much. She found his constant defense of Landon to be annoying, but besides that he wasn''t really a bad
guy.
"All of that is...consistent with a newly triggered wolf. It''s normal. Thank you fort that, Landon. Oh" At the end ric turned to Hope, who sighed and got up.
Turning to the door, Hope said "We''re ready"
Getting up, ric motioned to the door "Landon Kirby, Milton Greasley" ric said
introducing them to one another.
MG looked at ric "Come on, Dr.Saltzman"
"Right. MG. I''m sorry. Take it from a guy named ric. I get it. Landon, MG is my student
aide" ric said.
"He''s also a vampire, a pretty nerdy one at that" Talia added. MG turned to her before
smirking.
"You''re just jealous that I have a awesomeic collection and you don''t" Talia rolled her eyes at this, but she did have to admit his collection was pretty impressive. Hearing this Landon sighed "Of course he is. You know, for a school with a secret to keep,
you''re kind of liberal with your information"
"Well, we don''t actually intend for you to remember any of it" After ric said this, MG moved towards Landon, before putting a hand on his shoulder, preparing to usepulsion

"I''ll bet 10 bucks it won''t work" Talia whispered to Hope, who raised an eyebrow "I''ll take that bet". Talia grinned, before turning back to MG and Landon. "Forget everything you''ve seen or learned sincest night. All you need to know is that your friend has found a home where he can live a better life. You''ll miss him. But you know it''s for
the best" MG said, trying to use hispulsion on the teen.
"Are you two out of your minds? How could I forget any of this?"
Talia grinned and turned to the shocked Hope "Looks like you owe me ten bucks"
Hope rolled her eyes at this before turning to MG "MG did you do it wrong?" "No, I didn''t do it wrong. It''s the easiest vampire trick in the book" MG replied, also confused
on what is happening, as he knew for sure that he had done it right, as she had done it plenty
of times before.
"Well, it didn''t work"
"Obviously, it didn''t work" MG replied, before noticing that Landon was moving towards the
door.
Before MG could vamp speed to Landon, Talia silently and wandlessly stunned Landon before he could take another step, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious. "Careful. Get him to the cer. This is not good. This is bad" ric said, while Hope watched
as MG dragged the unconscious Landon out of the room. "Well...that was exciting" Taliamented, causing Hope to turn to her.
"What was that spell? And how did you know it wouldn''t work on him?" Hope asked. "Just a simple stunning spell. As for the second question, it''s a secret. Now, let''s go so you can
get me that ten dors" Talia said with a grin. Hope huffed before smiling slightly and
following Talia.
[Later]
Sitting in the stands on the wickery field, Talia was currently sitting next to MG, who was one
of her few new friends in the school. She had ended up speaking to Hope for a while, and even
got that ten bucks from her. Which also led to Talia realizing that Hope never visited Landon in the basement.
"I still don''t find the appeal of this sport. It seems like an oveplicated fusion of American
football and football" Talia said, watching the game, while struggling to understand what the hell was even happening.
MG shrugged at this with a smile "Honestly I barely understand what''s going on either, but
it''s still fun to watch, isn''t it? Oh, looks like Josie and Lizzie areing over with the new
kid"
Watching as Josie walked over and sat in between Talia and MG, MG spoke "Yo. Giving up dibs on the new guy so quickly?"
"It''s not apetition. Plus, I''m still nursing a wounded soul" Josie replied.
"Hmm. Penelope Park"
"SHH, saying it''s name gives it power" Talia said acting as if she was horrified. Causing Josie
to giggle and MG to grin.
"Sorry" MG said, chuckling slightly.
"Do you think he''ll go for her?" MG asked, looking at Lizzie. Talia sighed at this, her friend
really needed to start to realize that Lizzie probably wasn''t the right choice for him.
"Probably. They usually do" Josie replied, ncing at the sitting Rafael and Lizzie.
Saddened MG replied "Okay"
Sighing at the way the two were acting, Talia began to speak "You really need to move on
from her dude, there are tons of other people out there that would be into a guy like you, all
you gotta do is get out there and find them"
Hearing this MG looked surprised "Really?" "Really" Talia replied. "Like you?" MG replied teasingly.
Snorting Talia instantly replied "Sorry, unless you got a pussy, then I am not interested" Josie
choked on her spit upon hearing this, while MG busted outughing.
"You''re gay?" Josie asked in surprise.
Raising an eyebrow, Talia replied "I thought that was obvious?"
MG having finally stoppedughing, wheezed slightly "So you and Hope?" Snorting at this Talia replied "I wish, I doubt she''d go for me though" Talia finished with a
shrug. While Talia knew about the bond between the two, it didn''t seem to really effect her all that strongly, so she doubted it would do the same on Hope''s end. "Dude...she is totally into you" MG replied with a deadpan on his face, even Josie was staring
at Talia with a raised eyebrow.
"Really? I thought it was just her being nice" Talia replied genuinely. She had only been in a single rtionship in her past life, which ended with her dying by that same ex. So her knowledge on how to tell if someone was into her, was limited to say the least.
"She isn''t like that with anyone except you, so I think it''s a bit more than her being nice. But,
knowing Hope, she won''t act on those feelings" Josie replied, getting a look of surprise from
Talia.
Before Talia could speak, she noticed Lizzie stomp off with tears running down her cheeks "Uh, is your sister okay?"
Josie hearing this turned to see Lizzie stomp off, before her eyes widened and she got up "I
have to go see my dad"

That''s the end of the chapter. Next chapter will have the end of Episode 1. I am going to try
and make it so each episode is finished anywhere from 1-3 chapters, mattering on how much happens in the episode.
Talia will follow canon for a short while, while still changing things in various ways. Canon will begin to drastically change once the Necromancer shows up. This chapter was a bit longer than thest ones, due to a lot of the dialogue just being from
the pilot of Legacies. But I promise that episode 2 and onwards will have much more interactions and changes than this first episode, which will be done in the next chapter. School has started back up for me, so chapters will probably be releasingter into the day moremonly. Most likely around 2:00 in the afternoon (PST). Next chapter should be roughly the same length of this chapter, if not a little longer or shorter.
I think I might also start uploading chapters for fanfiction idea''s I may have to my Patreon. These would just be my ideas, and wouldn''t be guaranteed to have a continuation, instead it would be a sort of vault that I''d have that I can look at in the future if I want to revisit the idea.
Some of them could have a few chapters, and some might have one. Would y''all be interested in that? It would bepletely random in terms of "updates" and would simply be updated
when I get an idea and want to post it. It would not take away from the updates for Twilight (Daughter of God) and Legacies (Unique Gamer) whatsoever. Anyways, have a good day! Please point out any mistakes! See you tomorrow!
