“Aarghhhhh!!!”
Whoosh!
Hiro’s body was sliding down at full speed in a very slippery, long tunnel. It reminded him of the tunnel in a water park.
He tried to stop his speed by holding onto something he could find in the tunnel. However, he couldn’t find anything, and it was too slippery. While Noah, who was in front of him, didn’t stop screaming.
*slides*
Bam!!!
After passing through a dark and muggy tunnel. Hiro was thrown out as if he was being spit up by the tunnel.
“Get off!”
Bam!
Hiro got a punch in the face from Noah. Because he justnded on his back.
“Argh.” Hiro groaned. His body suddenly felt heavy and wet, like he had just been swimming.
He immediately checked his HP again, and he saw an insignificant point reduction. Even though his body ached after falling like that, Hiro’s HP only decreased by 1%.
Then, he checked the raid party’s status and saw that the colour of the status information for his name and Noah looked normal. It was bright green. While for the other names, it seemed they lost their colour and changed to jade green.
“What happened?” Noah got up and brushed off the snow that stuck to his body. He didn’t look like he was shivering like Hiro because he had activated his cold resistant skill. Unfortunately, Hiro didn’t have it.
“It looks like you identally found a clue,” Hiro muttered, then focused his gaze on his surroundings, trying to check where they were.
This ce reminded Hiro about the first cave where he fought the Minorous boss. However, in this ce, he could find many sharp-shaped ice crystals hanging above the cave ceiling like natural stctites.
Hiro swallowed hard. If those things fell, this ce would be a graveyard for his avatar.
“Are theying?” Noah was standing in front of the tunnel, and Hiro walked to the other side of the dungeon.
“I don’t think so. If my guess is correct, it looks like the torches we saw earlier are the exit of that strange ce.”
Hiro didn’t know whether to feel lucky or not. However, at least he could move to another ce right now.
“What should we do?”
For the first time, Noah asked Hiro what to do. It made Hiro reflexively look at him with disbelief. He even forgot to close his hanging mouth.
“What? Don’t you always have a second-n?” Noah looked away awkwardly. Then, he walked back towards the other side of the ring-shaped cave.
Hiro thought for a moment. He didn’t immediately respond to what Noah said. Meanwhile, at the same time, Spyro crawled out from inside Hiro’s robe with its two ears limping to the back.
“You damn kid! I almost threw up,” it grumbled telepathically.
Hiro didn’t know that even Alice would get a side effect from the slip-down incident a few seconds ago. He helped the dragon out to perch on his shoulder. It still put on a weary expression.
“I don’t know why, but I’m really hungry right now.”
Thest time Hiro fed it was before Spyro was under Alice’s control. He thought he didn’t need to feed it when Alice had taken the dragon’s consciousness.
“Ahhh… I forgot to buy pet food for you.” Hiro checked his inventory and found an item he thought he could be used as food.
[Bat’s Meat (Quality: Low/spoiled)]
“Take this.”
Hiro shoved a piece of meat into Spyro’s mouth, and without looking at it first, Spyro devoured it.
“What the hell is this? Are you trying to kill me?”
Ding!
[Spyro’s mood has decreased]
[Overwhelmed]
[Warning! Your progressive stats might be decreased during battle]
“Damn, Alice? Can you not bother me?”
Noah was surprised to hear Hiro suddenly talking to himself. He looked at Hiro in confusion. His eyebrow arched when there was no one here other than the two of them.
“Have you gone mad?”
“Come here. I found something.”
Hiro red at Spyro, who threw a lopsided smile at him, looking very satisfied with what it had done.
He ignored the dragon and then immediately ran over to Noah, who was standing in the middle of a circle. He looked up at something above the ceiling.
On the surface of the sharp ice crystals, there was very thin green slime. It was frozen with the ice crystals so that the slime didn’t drip. Hiro was certain the green slime was a liquid from outside this ce.
“Whatever it is, I believe it is the work of this dungeon boss,” Noah muttered, and Hiro nodded… He was thinking the same thing as Noah.
“Is this the dungeon boss’ hideout?”
Noah had pulled out his Mystic Tome. He was on alert while looking out for any suspicious movements.
On the contrary to Noah, Hiro didn’t pull out his sword.
“I don’t think so. If this was the boss’s hideout, there would be more clues to its whereabouts. Not only the frozen slime.”
Hiro’s answer made Noah frown in annoyance, but he still put his Mystic Tome back.
“Let’s split up. If you find anything suspicious, tell me.”
Hiro walked away from Noah, who hadn’t even given an answer. Whether the man agreed with his n or not, he didn’t care. He deliberately kept his distance to ask someone for help.
“Alice, can you see anything in this ce from the data structure program?”
[silence]
Hiro lifted Spyro with both hands and looked at it straight in the eye, waiting for an answer.
“Kwak!!”
“Ah, that gothic girl. She really is toying with me now.”
Alice said nothing, and Spyro sounded like a crying duckling again.
Hiro decided to move independently, even though it would take more time than getting help from Alice. Unlike Noah, who was more interested in checking from the centre of the circle, Hiro checked the edges of the walls that circled that ce.
He kept walking until his left hand suddenly felt like it was burning.
When Hiro checked it, the Sigil on the back of his hand gave off a dark ck light. Even his blood came out onto the surface of the Sigil line.
“What the hell?”
[health -1000] [health -1000] [health -1000]
Hiro knew one thing that could make him experience this kind of sensation.
He immediately jumped away from the ce he was standing while holding his left hand, which was in great pain. His blood was gushing out uncontrobly.
“What the hell? What have you done?” Noah, who saw Hiro suddenly running towards him with the left hand covered in blood, looked very shocked.
“Heal me.” Hiro gripped Noah’s hand with a pale face.
