Hiro decided to ask the Underworld City’s resident NPCs for food in exchange for 10 points of his free pass. Even though it was only 10 points, Hiro got a banquet like a small feast. Not only one person who gave him food but several people at once. They were friendly to Hiro but indifferent to Liberty and Nichesz because those girls were not from the demon bloodline.
Besides, Hiro still hadn’t grasped the situationpletely. Besides, Milly, the subus, was really clinging to him right now. She was so clingy that he had to sneak out from the prepared feast outside the perfectly reshaped building.
“I think it’s safe to leave them for a while. I have to go to the tower,” Hiro muttered after he managed to slip away from the crowd. He nced at Liberty and Nichesz who were eating so voraciously that they didn’t even notice Hiro had disappeared.
“Where are we going, Hiro?” Alice asked, following Hiro in silence. She flew near him because she was getting bored.
Hiro couldn’t stay still and enjoyed the dinner party while the world around him was still crumbling. Besides, he also couldn’t calm down because there was still no information from his trusted people.
Hiro checked his friendlist again and found many friend requests. Almost all the names that appeared were the names of the yers he knew. They were from Evesting, and it seemed they were starting to notice that something was wrong with their old friendlists. The people who were trapped in the same world as Hiro immediately added him as a friend to connect with each other.
Hiro epted the friend requests one by one as he continued walking towards one of the closest towers in the Underworld City. It was thest tower he went to with Milly the subus. He was sure that one of hisrades was hiding in that ce.
MyPhantom, Cara.
Ding!
[BigShow has tried to connect with you]
“Hello?”
“Boss! Finally, it’s connected! Are you all right, Boss? Where are you now? It’s a mess in here, Boss!”
Hiro frowned when he heard BigShow’s heavy voice screaming right inside his ears. He should have been the one worried about BigShow, but this time his position was reversed.
“BigShow, I’m fine. How about you? Are you with the others? How many people are with you?” Hiro asked quietly. He didn’t need to shout to speak through the dialing system that connected like a telepathy.
BigShow told Hiro that he was currently with seven yers. Three of them were the members of the Evesting guild who were still interns. They were in a very cold ce and covered in snow, even though everything felt like it had ttened off the ground. That was from BigShow’s exnation.
Hiro was sure that they were in the Moonspire City. Yet, he still didn’t know how to gather with them again.
“Wait a sec, teleportation.”
Hiro had just remembered about the teleportation NPCs that should always be avable in all cities. Given that the Underworld City had been rebuilt, wasn’t the teleportation of NPCs back to normal as well? But still, Hiro wasn’t sure that the feature would still work after the ocean was removed from the map.
“I’ll call you back, BigShow. Don’t die and take care of each other. Be careful with strangers. They could have the intention of robbing you. You know, the yers can loot other yers now, right?”
Hiro almost forgot to share that important information with the people he knew. It was not to tell them to hunt other yers and loot their belongings, but rather a precautionary measure, so they could be careful of the yer killer who had increased drastically.
“Understood. I’ll be careful. Don’t forget to keep me informed, Boss. I’ll also give the update information every time I find anything.” BigShow’s response was calm again.
After disconnecting from BigShow, Hiro checked his friendlist again. Jacob and Noah, they still didn’t respond.
If Jacob didn’t notice a new feature, it might note as a surprise, but Noah? There was no way the man didn’t notice the massive system change in the game.
“Is this the ce?” Alice asked curiously. Hiro was already standing in front of a tower wall that had been guarded again by the bloodline demon NPC guards. Threerge demi-human demons approached Hiro. Their gazes looked displeased. Indeed, it was not easy to ess the tower without permission.
It seemed that rule one hadn’t changed.
“What are you looking for in this ce, Traveler?” asked the demon in a fully red body like a Hellboy.
Hiro took out the free pass card that was in his inventory and showed it to the guard. “How many points does it need to allow me to enter the dungeons of this tower?” he asked. He was sure the card could be used for anything, including permission to ess the tower.
“30 points,” replied the guard demon with a snort. He looked disappointed after seeing Hiro take out the card and show it to him.
“Well, make it free or I am gonna kick your ass,” Hiro had drawn his Blood-eater vampire sword, showing the guards that he was serious about his threat.
The threerge demons in front of him looked surprised at the unexpected offer. Yet, the one who had spoken to Hiro tly refused.
“30 points means 30 points,” he said, remaining firm. He didn’t move at all from where he was standing.
Hiro swung his sword swiftly, shing empty air until a spark of light emanated from the de, as if something had just been shed by it.
“You know how I got this free pass card, right? Well, if you’re still curious about the shing power of a mighty Underworld Hero, I’ll give it to you and your men for free,” said Hiro with a faint smile on his face, trying to bring down the opponent’s mentality. And it worked.
The two guards standing behind seemed to retreat in unison and shook their heads. Their eyes focused on the de of Hiro’s greatsword, then gulped in horror at the thought of it shing at them.
“All right, 10 points will be enough. I give you a discount, Underworld Hero,” said the guard demon, starting to falter. His eyes kept watching Hiro’s sword as if the guard was afraid that the sword would suddenly sh his neck.
“Free,” Hiro hissed, repeating his request. After all, he only needed to invite a subus to enter the tower’s undergroundst time, although he also had to give her some LSC. But now, possessing an item more magical than LSC, Hiro felt that it was time he took advantage of his position.
However, before the demon guard could say anything… a woman suddenly shouted in a loud voice.
“Aaarrgghhh!”
Hiro felt that the voice was familiar. Without saying anything, he immediately swung his sword vigorously towards the neck of the guard in front of him until it was cut off from his body.
St!
“Hiro wait!”
Hiro was already running towards the hidden door. He was lucky to find the hinge of the door seemed to have been broken, so he could easily open it. Even as he pulled the door open, Hiro identally broke the metal door from its hinges.
Hiro jumped into the very dark ce and used his demon’s eyes because this time he forgot not to bring a torch.
Down underground, Hironded beautifully without hurting himself. He could feel the presence of someone in that ce because the passage was slightly warm. It was very different from thest time Hiro entered that ce.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
“Meta,” called Hiro, still trying to get back the demon inside him.
“Stop ming me or I’ll never feed you again,” Hiro exined deliberately to lure the demon out.
At the same time, the sigil on his left hand thickened. When the power locked in his left hand activated, Hiro’s right hand now felt like it was burning. It was very hot and ufortable.
[Movement speed has been increased]
“Thanks.”
Hiro sped away quickly, his legs spinning like wheels. Until he saw a sight that he didn’t expect at all.
“Nightfall! Hurry up, save me from this disgusting monster!”
Hiro stopped walking. Before him, he could see Cara being entangled by a monster right in front of the gate to the abyssal. The monster looked like ck vomit that had piled up. It was alive and kept moving against Cara, pulling her body until the tight armor she was wearing was torn in the abdomen and thighs. The girl was even half naked when Hiro came.
“What are you looking at, NightFall? Hurry!” shouted Cara, looking very angry but helpless.
“What the hell was that?” Even though Cara called it a monster, it didn’t have a HP bar like a special NPC. Besides, why was it wrapped around Cara like it was giving her a punishment?
“It is an anti-cheat terror. A demonic thing that can only appear when someone is trying to break the rule made by the demon lords,” Meta, as a demon, gave Hiro the answer.
“That girl must have done something,” added Meta confidently.
“What should I do to get rid of it?” Hiro asked. He was sure there must be a way.
“Simple. Just do as the rule said, and do not break it twice otherwise the terror will be more powerful.”
