1550 Justice
Gu Zhenkang was still struggling when he was dragged away by the staff from Dali Temple. There was no more noise in the mansion.
Those people from Dali Temple had been holding some kindness to Gu Zhenkang, but after he spilled the truth, he was almost confirmed as a criminal. So he was treated even worse.
As Gu Chaoyan was walking out of the mansion and passing by Gu Yunhe, she could see Gu Yunhe looking at her in fright. He was shivering and fearing that he would be considered an aplice. He was shivering and did not dare to run away.
Gu Chaoyan threw a side look at him.
Gu Yunhe was a terrible man and he had done many bad things, but he was just very bad on the surface. Just as he said, when Ms. Lin passed away, he was too young to understand anything. And what he had done to Gu Chaoyanter was not a crime. So he was not going to be taken away by Dali Temple.
Gu Chaoyan stopped looking at him, nor did she tell people from Dali Temple to take him away. She let him go.
Gu Yunhe could not believe that, but the officers from Dali Temple did not touch him and he realized that he was let go. He got up and ran backwards, but he copsed onto the ground because of what happened. He crawled all the way towards his room.
However, no servants dared to touch him. They lowered their heads and got done with their own business.
The servants were all working ording to the master’s order.
They knew pretty well that Elder Miss was going to take revenge on them, and that Elder Miss would be the master of the Gu Mansion after all.
They did not dare get close to the Young Master. They bullied Elder Miss when she was little as well. She might not remember which one bullied her exactly, but if they approached Young Master, Elder Miss might remember who they were. Then they would be done.
Everyone was panicking.
Gu Mansion was in a mess.
Now… no one had spare time to think about what was happening at Gu Mansion.
Gu Chaoyan and Sword One were on their way to Dali Temple.
Dali Temple took special care of them since she was the Phoenix Girl. They even had wagons prepared for the Phoenix Girl, but Gu Zhenkang was escorted behind them, walking forward.
He kept ming Mrs. Gu for what was happening.
He did not even know what he should do when he was used of something, though he was working at the Ministry of Personnel, but was he really literati? He did not deserve to be called a literati.
Seeing the long troops and listening to Gu Zhenkang’sints about Mrs. Gu, Gu Chaoyan could not help but feel emotional. She had spent such a long time searching for the evidence, but it was apletely waste of time. Gu Zhenkang had spilled it all out for her. She did not need any evidence.
He just confessed when she frightened him.
She was a killer in her previous life. And she was well-trained in skills, but she was also trained to understand someone’s personality and mind. She aimed well, and she could tell how people would react before they even do anything, but…
