Chapter 461: - You slept with Freya, Broken?
?
"Are you all sure about this decision?" Broken asked, seeing nearly every member of the Ass Guild in Slumdon now gathered at his side.
Elincia responded confidently, "You''re our friend, Broken. And as friends, it''s our duty to protect and help each other."
Freya let out a soft chuckle. "I don''t think he even understands the concept of friendship."
"Shut up, Freya," Broken retorted. "You''re making it sound like I don''t have any friends at all."
Freya smirked. "Oh really? Go on then, name some of your friends outside the game."
Broken simply grinned at her challenge. The truth was, he only had a handful of people he could truly consider friends in the real world.
Goldrich jumped in. "Khi khi khi, don''t tell me you''re one of those loners in real life-you know, no friends, super broke, gets bullied by everyone, and then, out of nowhere, receives some overpowered blessing that makes you the main character surrounded by beautiful women?"
"Sounds about right," Freya said with augh. "He''s already acting like a yboy, trying to charm every woman whoes near him."n/?/vel/b//in dot c//om
Maylock added with a grin, "Didn''t RememberMe say that he''s a real-life yboy? Something about him and Freya sharing a room and often sleeping in the same bed, right?"
"Shut up, Maylock! Where the hell did you get that ridiculous idea? Are you seriously believing that loudmouth RememberMe?! No one said anything about me and Broken sleeping in the same bed!"
Ivana nced at Broken. "You slept with Freya, Broken?" she asked, giggling.
Broken quickly shook his head, "No! My sister was there too."
Goldrich couldn''t hold back hisughter. "You slept with Freya and your sister? What kind of bizarre setup is that?"
Freya sighed, visibly annoyed. "We slept in the Home Bus, okay? Not in the same bed! Oh my god, this is giving me a headache."
Melliandra muttered, "You sure are disgusting, Broken. Please stop this disgusting conversation, we have enemies to destroy!"
Gctron slowly approached the group, and now both sides stood face to face. Despite the intensity, there were still no signs that an attack was going to happen soon.
Broken took a step forward. "So, is it revenge you''re after?"
Gctron remained silent for a moment, then shook his head. "No. Instead, I want to apologize."
"What?!" Everyone in the Ass Guild was taken aback, visibly stunned by the unexpected twist in the midst of all the tension.
"What do you mean?" Broken asked, his brow furrowed.
Gctron bowed slowly, then continued, "As the Guild Master of the Horde of Hell, I apologize for the actions of one of our members. I hope we can resolve this matter without any further esction."
Broken''s expression remained cold as he responded, "I''ll still kill your friend if he shows his face in front of me again."
Gctron met Broken''s gaze. "Today was a mistake, but if you choose to act against him again in the future, it will be a different matter entirely. We won''t stand by."
"That''s fine by me," Broken said casually.
The members of the Horde of Hell guild were left stunned by what their Guild Master had said.
"Why aren''t we just going to war?"
"He''s probably pulling some kind of trick on them. Gctron would never back down."
"Who said he was backing down, you idiot?" Akiko interjected.
"What do you even know about him, Akiko? He''s too smart for you to understand."
"Can you all shut up already?! I''m getting angry, and if you keep running your mouths, I''ll kill you myself!" Akiko threatened.
"I want a damn good reason why we''re not attacking this town."
"How about I ask Gctron to exin it to you in person, using his undead army? How''s that sound?" Akiko shot back.
"No... no way!"
Gctron and Broken remained facing each other, the tension still lingering heavily between them.
Gctron said in a calm, t tone, "I know the right moment for us to fight again, but that moment is not today. I can see you have a lot of potential. I hope you give me an interesting performance when the real war arrives."
With that, he turned on his heel, leaving the other guild members visibly confused. After a moment of hesitation, they had no choice but to follow their Guild Master, albeit with baffled expressions. The Horde of Hell retreated, leaving Broken and his allies standing in quiet readiness, watching as their enemies withdrew.
Freya slowly walked up to Broken''s side, letting out a heavy sigh. "Well, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that they''re gone."
"But how can you be sure they won''te back?" Broken asked, his gaze still fixed on the direction the Horde of Hell had retreated. "What if they return while I''m away on my next
expedition?"
Just then, Elincia, Goldrich, and Maylock joined them.
Maylock spoke up, "Even though he''s our enemy, we can trust him on this. Gctron isn''t the type to go back on his word."
Goldrich chuckled. "Seems to me you''re really eager to go on that expedition with Broken, huh, Maylock?"
Maylock nodded, adding, "If you''re worried, Broken, we can postpone the expedition. I''ll go along with whatever you decide."
Elincia stepped closer. "Don''t worry. I''ll be staying in this town, so you can go on your expedition without concerns. It''s important for you, isn''t it? The stronger you get from this journey, the more it benefits all of us."
Broken slowly nodded. "If Maylock says they won''te back, then I''ll try to trust his judgment."
He turned to the others. "Thanks, everyone. I think today''s issue is finally over."
"Ugh, how annoying. I really thought we''d have a big fight!" Melliandra grumbled before
turning and walking away ahead of the group.
"Yeah, I''m disappointed too. I thought it was going to be an all-out war," Jovina added, ughing. "Turns out that kid''s a coward after all." She then gave Goldrich a yful smack on the head before sauntering off.
Kingsley, still in his massive bear form, shifted back to his human self. "I''m d we didn''t end up fighting after all."
The group began walking back toward the town gate, with Ivana strolling beside Broken.
"You''re taking me on the expedition tomorrow, right?" she asked, ncing up at him.
Broken smiled at her. "Of course. I promised to take you to explore the world, didn''t I?"
"Thanks," she said. "I''m really happy."
[Congrattions! You have sessfully prevented a major disaster from befalling Slumdon
Town.]
[Your heroic efforts deserve recognition, and for your triumph, you have been rewarded with 2,000 Reputation Points! Well done!]
"Woah..." Broken muttered. "I received a lot of reputation points." He turned to look at Freya walking beside him.
"You should save those reputation points," she suggested. "You never know, the Reputation Shop might get new items when the town''s rating goes up."
Broken chuckled, shaking his head. "I''m really tempted to buy something now. But alright, I''ll follow your advice this time."
Freya smirked. "Smart move. Better to wait for something that''s really worth it!"
Well, the small problem had ended with a rather satisfying reward: reputation points and a
Monster Soul Stone. Broken had also made sure to teach that stupidGang a valuable lesson. Now, it was time to prepare for the new expedition-tomorrow awaited.
