    After ss ended, Shen Ruojing fetched Chu Yu back to the Chu Manor.


    There was no solution as Chu Yu wanted to go there for dinner.


    After acknowledging this son of hers, Shen Ruojing was filled with guilt and couldn’t bear to reject his request.


    However, when Chu Yu returned, he instantly ran upstairs to find Chu Tianye. The two of them huddled together and spoke in low voices, not allowing others to listen in.

    Chu Cichen suddenly took out a cigar and sped it between his fingers. After lighting it, he inhaled fiercely. Amidst the spiraling smoke, his eyes slowly turned red.


    He missed her.


    He recalled that the first time they met was in an underground gathering.


    There were so many people there, but she walked straight toward him.


    She was d in a red dress and had a graceful figure and a beautiful smile. She lifted her chin slightly and passed him a cigar while asking, “Do you smoke?”


    He subconsciously took the cigar and brought it toward his nose to sniff at it. “Nope.”


    “Useless.”


    Her ruby red lips uttered this word. She then lit a cigar for herself and inhaled deeply before exhaling a ring of smoke.


    Her aura was sassy and uninhibited.


    Her thick make-up was dazzling, but it was unknown why she bore some resemnce to Shen Ruojing who was bare-faced. This was especially so for the pride and carefreeness that unconsciously radiated from her.


    Chu Cichen abruptly regained his senses.


    He knew that he was observing Shen Ruojing simply because of the resemnce she shared with the woman he loved.

    The vibration from his phone interrupted his thoughts.


    Chu Cichen’s thoughts were derailed. He then picked up the phone and heard Lu Cheng anxiously speaking, “Bro Chen, Mr. Yun’s condition has worsened! He might not be able tost through tonight!”

    Lu Cheng lowered his voice. “Mr. Yun consumed Shen Ruojing’s medicine before. Would this affect the rtionship between the Yun Family and Shen Family?”

    Chu Cichen was silent for a moment before instructing, “Keep that medicine and immediately get someone to check theposition of ingredients.
