“Years past since the day were all the male species have gone extinct ever since this unknown incident. Females of anthropomorphic species, who are straight, will not only lose their sexual relationship, but also, produce any more offsprings.
In other words, with no male for females to mate it could cause our species to become extinct,” said a Parrot in a suit coming from the tv
“Luckily we have the lesbians,” said the news reporter, as the camera switch to a scene where two female lizards both female getting married in their wedding gown, “with these lesbians to help us to give birth to a certain species in order to keep our species population going. While I admit, it’s not as fast as getting pregnant by men, but it’s better than nothing, I should say.” The parrot chuckled, “But at the end of the day we must help our species male problem, otherwise, we might have a good chance of heading to extinction of any species of all kind. So, lesbians, keep on breeding, if you finally gave birth to a boy, congratulations! You saved the next generation!”
The reporter smile as she adjusts her script. “Now that we got that history covered, it’s time we go on about this fun news,” Says the reporter with happier tone of voice “A toaster that can toast pizza?!”
I turned the tv off.
“First we went from ''end of our kind'', to a toaster?” I said to my wife, Mary, a white sheep I married for 10 years. My wife chuckled “Probably because you can''t have a good morning without breakfast,” she said. “Now, don’t forget the dinner that you promise.”
I sighed, “I really don’t like spending that much money for a dinner.”
“Nu-uh, a ROMANTIC dinner.” My wife noted. I rolled my eyes and give her a peck on the cheek.
As I got my business suit tie, I look at myself in the mirror. In my blue suit with a red tie, my black hair looks puffy while my front of my hair has that big afro-like puff in the front. “Look at you,” my wife said, “looking like a wife of my dreams.”
“What? I take my suit off after work. Does this mean I’m your nightmare every night?”
My watch went off.
I look at the clock. It''s only 9:46 AM. It''s almost time for work.
“I’ll see you tonight, honey!”
I twist the knob, only to feel the slight breeze coming through my face.
“Don’t forget our promise!”
“I won’t!”
As I walk outside, I look up at the sky, it is dead black. There were no stars due to my town for having too much lights on but there is the full moon.
I walked out of my house and head to the business bus stop. I waited for the bus to come by anytime soon as I stare at a REGULAR bus stop sign, that’s across on the opposite direction I am.
While We''re waiting, I’ll tell you a little information about me.
My name is, Malisa, Malisa Prune. A black sheep. I’m kinda boring to hang out. I don’t challenge myself. I just find it risky. I also just stay out of drama or any event unless it revolves around my life. That’s all you''re going to know about me.
As I stare at the end of the road I heard a motor making a soft, yet loud, buzz.
“…It’s the bus” I thought, as I pick up my silver suitcase. The buzz noise gets louder by the seconds it goes by. Then I start seeing some lights appear on the black road. I cracked my neck by leaning my head left and right while a silver bus appears at the end of the road.Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road.
“There it is,” I whispered to myself “my favorite transportation system.” The silver bus came close to me and come to me to a halt, then the rectangle-shape door slowly opens with the bus making a loud hissing noise that almost startled me.
“Are you ready for work?” says the bus driver, who is a chubby elephant. I nodded as I walk inside the tight entrance. The bus driver looked back on to her directions. I’ll admit the bus itself really is fancy it’s slightly dark while the dim colorful lights help us see inside at night, on every seat, there’s also an mini-refrigerator with a lot of sodas included I guess the driver thought the trip may take a while. It was quite… interesting for a job that’s about giving drugs to straight female species from becoming insane in their heat.
A small tv hanging on the ceiling shows a video titled “a beginner’s guide to delivering drugs”.
The tv screen showed a Bird in a suit.
“Hello, and thank you for having enough courage for taking this job you’ve chosen,” said one of the video’s recording, who’s a bird lady in a silver uniform with a sparkling tie, that we all are wearing, speaking in a serious, yet, concerning tone to the riders of the bus. “We are here to inform you of the importance this job, it is also a heavy job.” She step aside as a hologram image of a cute small female worker appear with a briefcase, like me and everyone else have.
"It''s a serious problem," she said, yet she just showed a crtoon character on a screen.
“This little worker is, Q-T.” Q-T waves at us with her small stubby arm, or hand whichever is right, “Q-T will show on what kinds of encounters you about to experience in this job, while I explain the details.” Q-T nodded proudly, “Alright, listen carefully workers.” To be honest, pretty much everyone in the bus know the drill, except for one worker, who is new on this job who seems breathing heavily.
The bird lady from the video clears her throat.
“All of you ladies here, in this job, are lesbians,” she says “Reasons? Due the fact lesbians don’t need males and instead use females to mate in the heat cycle, we thought it was a good idea to make this job a lesbian-only hiring.” Another Q-T appeared and kissed… another Q-T.
“So, why didn’t we let any straight females in? The answer: 95.2% heterosexual females tend to have difficult time surviving in the heat cycle they either tend to destroy their surroundings, or other anthros,” Q-T appears in the screen with a chair, and a lasso, whipping at a cage, that has a Male/Female symbol, filled with furious females reaching their way out of the cage, “If we let a straight worker in the job, she will be interrupted by her heat during her job,” she continues “so, In order to cure their heat, we create a drug that can prevent them from go in their heat.”
Q-T appear in a… questionable nurse clothes, with a big shot on her shoulder. The girls in the bus seats whistled at her ‘outfit’. The bird lady rolled her eyes. “BACK ON TOPIC,” she raised her voice, “this drug inside this bottle is the key to curing their heat.” Q-T show the shot’s drug color, it’s really pink and kind of like a yogurt, “But don’t overdose them, otherwi-“
The tv screen was turned off by the bus driver, as her trunk is holding the tv remote.
“Sorry ladies, but were here at your locations,” she said, “I’ll play it back when you finish your job.”
The newcomer instantly bounced off of her seat.“B-but, what did she mean by “heavy” I don’t know what she’s talking about. What did she mean by it? Was she referring the heat?”
Everyone on the bus stood silent. We looked at each other giving that ‘should we tell her’ look. All the newcomer darts her head left and right at us as her eyelids shrinking. Finally, for the sake of calming her, the bus driver looked at her. “You’ll be fine,” she says “Just ignore everything you see… ok?” The newcomer stared, and took a deep breath, and released herself. “Y-your right. It’s just my overreactions, right?” Everyone looked at each other, “R-right?
”
The bus came to a sudden halt. “Welp! Here it is girls. It’s time for work!” Just by hearing the door clicked we rushed through the door, maybe even run over each other, especially the newcomer.
Once we got out, the new worker started chattering her teeth. “Oh...,” she moaned, “I''m not comfortable giving needles and sucking their blood from a patient before.” One worker asked, “Then why take the job?”
“I heard it’s a high paying job and all you do is give them these drugs,” she said, “sure they gave us training on giving shots on other people, but this time, people''s lives are at stake!”
I planted my hand on her shoulder. “Relax,” I said, “I''m sure you do fine.” I smiled her as she still shaking.
“Can we please get on a move on? My patient needs the drug as much as your patient,” said one of our workers.
I nodded as we head into the entrance of the fort.
We walk quietly as we reach to the entrance. All of us look at the newcomer. “What?” she said.
“You might want to close your eyes” One worker said as she hold her hand.
The new worker did without question as we heard yelling and screaming coming from the inside.
If there''s one thing I don''t love about this job, is what kind of life it"s trying to hide.
