The Morse code of lips read out:
“E-M-E-R-G-E-N-C-Y. H-E-L-P-M-E.”
Lu Zhaoyang said pitifully through her grooving lips.
Huo Yunting raised his brows in a bit of bewilderment at first, till he realized the situation. The confused brows turned amused. He lifted his index finger, as if making an offer on a bidding. His authoritative lips formed a reply, through the same Morse code.
“C-O-N-D-I-T-I-O-N?”
Upon her expression soon bursting into tears, he decided to ask her to promise something.
Lu Zhaoyang knew from where he wasing from. She knew there was nothing good when one shook hand with the devil but she had no choice. Her mother was going to pick that certificate and she was going to be toasted in a few seconds.
<i>Alright! Alright! </i>
She vigorously nodded.
Huo Yunting sucked his teeth satisfyingly and he decided to spend the next few seconds on lighting up his cigarette. Lu Zhaoyang was screaming inside, as her giant eyes quivered.
<i>COME ON! </i>
“Phew...” Huo Yunting exhaled, “I was wondering why I was tripping all day, I guess it all made sense now, that I’ll be meeting filthy rat.”
His voice surprised Madam Xue, as she dropped the envelope and got back up, no longer pulling a grim expression a few minutes ago. She squeezed a smile as she got back to her usual self.
Her smile twitched a bit when she saw Huo Yunting, as if astonished by his appearance, “Oh if it isn’t Yun Ting, boy why are you here? Have you taken dinner? Where is my hospitality? Come, get in, take a seat.” She talked to the wealthy young man carefully.
Huo Yunting responded withplete ignorance as he walked past Madam Xue and headed straight to Lu Zhaoyang. He nced at the car key in his wife’s hand, “Lu Zhaoyang, I believe I need to rify something. I might have given you a car, but that doesn’t mean I’ll appreciate a third-wheel. And we are not the Musketeers, we don’t need *the other woman* here to dirty my ride.” His voice was as sarcastic as you could imagine. He decided to go for a well-done roast and ignore the hardened expressions of the two women there.
Lu Zhaoyang was feeling so awkward that she wanted to jump out of the window right away.
She opened her mouth and tried to say something yet she did not know what to say.
She could not deny it.
<i>It was true. </i>
Her mother was indeed... the other woman in the rtionship.
Her mother was the one who started the dangerous affair.
“Mommy and daddy truly love each other. It’s true love. I hope that you could understand, sweetie. Please...e back, your daddy misses you...” Madam Xue was pale as she acted defensive, she had been devastated by the harshment.
“Shut your mouth already!” Huo Yunting frowned as he interrupted the intolerably disgusting soap stand taking ce. He faked a smile, “True love? As long as your so-called true love is interfering some other people’s true love, you are just a piece of whor-”
“Huo Yunting! How could you use that word, do you kno- Mommy!” Lu Zhaoyang could not let the insult continue any longer, as she tried to confront. Her mother, with a colorless expression and shaky legs, had already stormed out of ce. Lu Zhaoyang followed her to the corridor, yet before she managed to call her mother, her man grabbed her arms.
She gave a few tugs, striving to break free from his grip while sending a wrathful re at this tall man staring coldly at her.
“Huo Yunting! Don’t be so full of yourself! My mother is still an elder to you and legally she is your MOTHER-IN-LAW! Don’t you think she’s kind enough for you?”
“Oh, ‘mother’ you mean?”
The keyword had triggered him. Huo Yunting was finally enraged, as he pressed her to the open door and gave her a hideous look. Like a child who marveled at his new toy, he stared into her eyes. “Well, since she’s kind enough for me, she should be pleased that I had married her beloved daughter, shouldn’t she?”
“...”
Lu Zhaoyang was pale.
The devil lowered his head upon his prey while his watery tongue swirled upon the tiny earlobe of hers, the heat of his breath was steaming her.
Nheless, Lu Zhaoyang was not aroused, not at all. She was shivering with goosebumps all over her skin. “How about this?” He began, “Tell your mommy we are officially married. If she’s happy, then she’s a real kind person, that I would no longer have the need to torture her.”
He then chuckled once and looked back into her eyes, “Do we have a deal? My..dy?”
