The bald man was wearing a rather torn, slightly discolored suit which appeared to be as old as the shoes he was wearing. The edge had gotten loose, one could even see the threads revealed at the side. When he was tapping the floor with his feet rhythmically, Lu could see the solespletely worn away.

If it was not the president’s instruction, Lu might never take this man as the boss of The Emperor Corp.

“Please,” said Lu courteously as she ced the coffee before him. She walked across the table and sat down.

Huo technically instructed her to a few words with this man. The middle-aged man was obviously a minion under somebody else’smand, definitely not the mastermind both Lu and Huo had been keeping an eye on. Well, if that was the case, Huo never had the need to show himself.

“I was called by Thunderbolt Corp. this morning. So, what can we help you with? I have lots of work to do you see.”

Sun Yan, the middle-aged man was getting more unnerving when he saw it was not the president but the secretary who came to him..

“You have lots of work to do... or do you have lots of things to pack?” smiled Lu as she took a sip of her coffee, with her expressive eyes focused upon him.

“What kind of silly joke is that? Of course I came to work, what do you mean by I have lots of things to pack?” Sun Yan’s hands grabbed his thigh tight, so tight that one could see his right thigh trembling slightly.

“Well, rx I just need you to be honest with me. Tell me, the presentation for the Qingshan project, where do you get that proposal from?” Asked Lu directly.

Sun Yan’s expression dimmed, as his shaky hands reached for the coffee to have a gulp, but the heat scorched his tongue, “Ouch!” Fanned his tongue, he replied, “I don’t know what you mean. I don’t know anything about that too.”

“Why so nervous?” Asked Lu indifferently. She ced the cup back to the table, “My dear president, do you know we can always sue you for that?”

“For real! I don’t know anything! That proposal somehow just ended up in my email. The sender says I can use this, so I just went to try my luck out. It’s true!”

Sun Yan panicked upon hearing the threat.

“Sure, sure, sure,” Lu looked at the frightened man, “Let’s see if the police trust your side of the story.”

“Please, Miss Secretary. Don’t put a verdict yet! I seriously don’t know that happens to be the proposal of yourpany. And I wasn’t the one who submitted for the audition, too.”

Sun Yan had gotten more frightened as he put down his coffee and waved his arms vigorously, denying the usation.

Lu Zhaoyang stayed silent, with a faint smile of her cool beauty, as if an ice queen was spectating a monkey jumping into the me wheel.

Huo Li came into the scene with aptop. His face was unusually grim.

    “Email and your password.”

Sun Yan was shocked as if seeing the underground lord. Of course, he did not forget the time when this man dragged him out from the office.

“Um.. uhh...” He obediently stated his ID and password and habitually picked the coffee cup to fill in the awkward gap, only to realize he had drunk everything.

“President Sun, this incident might not hurt yourpany a bit,” she passed a nce, “but it definitely hurts Thunderbolt Corp. a lot. I would pray that you are indeed unrted to the case or not even God can save you!”

She took his cup and headed to the coffee machine to refill for him.

“The inbox has beenpletely emptied. Will do a recovery now,” reported Huo Li.

Lu knew Huo Li was not reporting to her.

Was that meant to frighten Sun Yan? Or... Huo Yunting was actually watching this?

In the silent meeting room, the frigid air wed every inch of Sun Yan’s skin, the sound of Huo Li mming the keys stabbed at every beat of Sun Yan’s heart.

“It came from a cybercafe 10 days ago.” Huo Li then prompted a shutdown, he looked at Sun Yan, “Mr. Sun, would you like to confess or do you need me to help you with that?”
