“Guess the Chinese’s saying is right. An old m can still produce pearls. That’s some fossilized m though. Man, imagine you’ll be at the old folks’ home when your child is attending college. But well, I think you won’t care considering how you’ve already achieved the impossible,” Huo Yunting passed a nce at Huo Zhenning, “God bless you, please do have that baby. I can already imagine when you’re attending a charity drive which you donated a mere few thousands just to show the world that you’re a loveable mother, everyone will just mistake you as your child’s grandmother. Oh wow, I must live to see that.”
Lu Zhaoyang was not exactly offended. Quite the contrary, she was only more convinced that her mother should NOT keep the child upon hearing what he said.
The child would be at least having a 25 year gap with Madam Xue and probably she would be checking out her child at the nightclub with a walking stick yearster.
“Mother—don’t you think you should rethink about this?” Lu Zhaoyang said it softly.
Madam Xue let off a long sigh as she began to frown. Her daughter was as if pouring cold water to her burned wounds after Huo Yuntingpletely roasted her.
“Oh my dear sister, aren’t you also bing a mother soon?” Huo Yunting suddenly shifted his methrower, as he started peeling one of the kumquats on the table. Before the folks jumped the gun, he borated, “You don’t know? Imagine if something bad happened to the child, somebody might think that there was no more benefit and just pretend as if the child never existed. Let’s see, who will be taking care of the mess? Oh, you. Well, I think it’s not that bad. You *are* already at the age of bing a mother. Practice makes perfect you know.” Huo Yunting then tasted one slice of the oval citrus fruit he just peeled, “Mhm—How about this? We will renovate this mansion into a giant nursery room! Fail to n means n to fail, after all. Ugh.” His brows furrowed as he tossed the remaining kumquat into the bin.
It was sour, disgustingly sour.
Finally, Huo Zhenning’s smile crumbled as his son managed to test his limits again.
“You aren’t here to bring humiliation to us.” He red at the disrespectful man, “I thank you for your fellow ‘advices’. We will take very good care of the child and I will make sure that I WON’T repeat the SAME mistake as before!”
“Oh stop being dramatic. I just have my own thoughts,” said Huo Yunting as he got up indifferently, “Call me when you guys need some champagne. I’ll be on my bed.”
Zhaoyang sighed in relief when she saw the savage speaker leaving the ce.
Gosh, I don’t know what to do if he stays here, it will surely be World War III.
“Yang, sweetie. I fully understand that I am not at the right age to bear a child. However, you must also consider the damage if I did an abortion. So, please. Please support mommy,” pleaded Madam Xue as she rubbed her t stomach, “Mommy wants this child.”
“Alright then. I’ll respect your decision.”
Not like I can stop her. She’s resilient and I could only be supportive.
She’s the wife of a wealthy family after all. The family will take good care of her. It should be fine.
Although...sigh—Why must things be like this today?
Thought Lu Zhaoyang with a bit of sorrow as she went upstairs.
Right when she stepped into her room, she was grasped by a familiar force. The steaming breath caused her to shudder as she lifted her head, whispering into the hungry beast above, “What the hell you’re doing in my room? Didn’t you just say you’ll be on your bed?”
“I didn’t say whose bed that was. And I only want a bed, *with you*. You wanna join me?” His hands began exploring the known realm inside her shirt.
“Can’t you just behave inside your own house?” She firmly pressed on his moving hands.
“Don’t you think it’ll be very fun if we get your mother a grandson now? Her child and ours should be about the same age by then. How’s that not behaving myself?” He sneered, “I was just doing my duty as your husband, ouch.” Lu Zhaoyang pinched his arms, “No I don’t. I only pictured a disastrous night whenever we met up with our parents. The child will be so confused on getting the salutations right. Not fun at all if you ask me. Just forget it, Huo Yunting. I’ll drop it even if I have it!”
