When she clicked open the news notification icon, it turned out to be about Su Cheng who got into an ident. Gosh, he even took a wefie with the guy whose car he had crashed into.

There were many weirdos every year, but it was noticeably more this year.

On Monday, Lu Zhaoyang sent an email to Xiang Jinxi, proposing to review thepany’s rules and regtions immediately.

In the capital, Xiang Jinxi had just finished his treadmill. He wiped the sweat on his face with a sweat towel on his neck, took a bottle of water, unscrewed it as he went outside.

“Mr. Xiang, you have a new email.” The butler handed him the iPad respectfully.

Xiang Jinxi took it in his hand. He opened the email, which contained several attachments.

President, I would like to make a few suggestions about the loopholes and shorings of the rules and regtions of thepany. I hope you can take some time to look into them. Awaiting your reply.

Xiang Jinxi’s eyebrows arched. He opened the attachments.

Actually, he knew nothing about thepany. Before this, Ge Yu was not hispany, which he had never managed.

He just looked at two of the reform agendas, and then his careless attitude suddenly changed.

This is kind of interesting, he thought.

The fact that she could think of these problems from a manager’s perspective was indeed something.

Huo Yunting had found a gem.

Atst, Xiang Jinxi just sent a one-word reply.

    Approved.

He then put the iPad aside and looked out the window.

The sky in the capital was as smoggy as ever. Xiang Jinxi suddenly felt that the air in the city was much better, and it might be a good idea to stay there.

When Lu Zhaoyang received Xiang Jinxi’s reply, the corner of her mouth twitched.

His reply came way too fast. Did he even think about it?

She seemed to be asking for trouble. But as a special assistant whom Xiang Jinxi had entrusted to manage thepany on his behalf, she must aplish something.

Indeed, she had bumped into obstacles while executing the reform n.

She pretended to not hear those opposing voices. There were always sacrifices in every reform, and some jobs badly needed more fresh blood.

Lu Zhaoyang had been under tremendous pressure these few days. She was feeling sick, almost, after staying back until eight on Friday.

Back home, she cooked herself a bowl of noodles. After that, she nned to hit the sack earlier. Just as she was about to shut the window curtains, she unintentionally spotted a familiar car parked right downstairs.

    Huo Yunting...

    Why was he here?

This jerk had the nerve to spy on her.

Huo Yunting did not know why he was here. He just realized he had stopped near her apartment after driving around aimlessly. So, he lit a ciggy and sat in the car for two hours.

    Finally, he saw her.

Their eyes met. The corner of his mouth arched slowly. It had been a month, and he missed her.

The curtains shut and the figure of Lu Zhaoyang disappeared before his eyes.

He flicked the ash and chuckled, saying to himself, “She still has an attitude.”

Cigarette butts littered on the side of the car and the one in his hand suddenly dropped. The hand outside the car window looked particr dreary under the amber streetlight.

He stared at the closed window and forced a smile. The light inside had gone out.

It seemed that she was going to sleep.

He stayed there for a further half an hour. When he was sure that Lu Zhaoyang was noting down, he fired up the engine and left.

She was still angry after so long but his patience was wearing thin.
