“Nope,” replied Lu Bai without hesitation.
“Ahhhh!!!!” She screamed inplete hopelessness, pleading that her boss woulde to her rescue soon.
Speaking of her boss, Huo Yunting, Yan Se’s only hope, was enjoying the sunlight, the woman and the fruit.
“Good?” Lu Zhaoyang could not help but ask after feeding her man a handful of cherries.
You could say “thank you” now!
“It’s okay.”
“Great.” At least her efforts did not go to waste.
“I’m off to a nap now. Serve yourself,” announced Zhaoyang as she left his room with an empty te. She was utterly worn out by her ntation work in the morning, that she yawned a few times on her way back.
She imagined a 30-minute nap but it was already dark out there when she woke up.
She somehow even heard the sound—of rain?
She went to pull the lights near her bed but someone was there.
“Huo Yunting?”
The lights of the room were all turned on.
There she saw Huo Yunting standing by her bed with the paper bag she brought that morning as he calmly took out the thin, partially transparent, silkyce one-piece from the bag. Like a magician he continued to withdraw a rather revealing nurse dress which took Lu Zhaoyang nearly an eternity to make up her mind bringing it.
Well it was no longer a happy surprise when Huo Yunting disclosed everything.
“What are you nning to do with these?” Said Huo Yunting, tossing the bag at her, squinting. Lu Zhaoyang could feel her ears burning.
It was the maid who told Huo Yunting about her gift. Therefore, the man anticipated throughout the whole day, yet there was nothing and in the midst of disappointment, he found these outfits in his room. If it was in the past, he probably would put these on her with his own hands. But—he hardly had the mood to do so at the moment.
Lu Zhaoyang acted nonchntly, “These aren’t mine.”
I knew I shouldn’t trust Lin Yazhi. That brat had never been into a rtionship before!
“It’s time for dinner,” said Huo Yunting, staring into her soul before leaving the room.
His indifference was devastating to her. She could not believe that her man did not even want to ask further on the outrageous outfits.
In embarrassment she got off the bed sluggishly, almost felt like sinking into the chair as she dug in at the dining table. The chopsticks clinked loudly, quickly yet the man sitting opposite her had hardly a word, probably wondering if she had gone insane.
Before he finished his food, Lu Zhaoyang wiped her lips and left the table promptly.
Well, little did Lu Zhaoyang know the reason behind Huo Yunting’s moodiness. That night, Huo Li came back to Huo Yunting, with a report about Xiang Jinxi.
A very funny man. Very funny, indeed. He was born in the Capital yet he went to buy a smallpany in their City all of a sudden. “Of all ces...” Muttered Huo Yunting. The funniest part was this man ditched hispany all the time.
What do you have under your sleeves, Xiang Jinxi?
Thought Huo Yunting as he watched his woman sprinting upstairs after dinner.
You want to touch my woman?
Hah...Hahahaha.
Lu Zhaoyang shuddered, she did not know why. Her fingers tapped frantically on the screen of her phone, “Lin Yazhi.” Her voice was profound, “You and your brilliant ideas.”
The little junior coughed, “Zhaoyang, seriously, if your boyfriend doesn’t feel anything even after seeing you in that uniform, you should consider if—you know, if he isn’t doing well or maybe he’s—*frigid*?”
“Hmmm...” Lu Zhaoyang had been sessfully brainwashed by her junior’s theory.
I mean, he was once the beast that usually led to a few paragraphs of intercourse and now look at him. He’s not even a kitty now, he’s just a monk!
Lin Yazhi surveyed her nails after painting one color as she started bringing the heat up, “What’s the point of keeping a man like that?”
