He bent closer to study little Huo Xu, who was still fast asleep, and noticed a few strands of hair on the pillow. He picked them up, wrapped them in tissue, and put them in his pocket.

If the boy was brother Ting’s son, things would be very interesting indeed.

Suddenly, Huo Li heard the room door opened and turned to look.

Ming Yue had just finished her night shift at work. When she found out from her assistant that Huo Yunting was here, she immediately made her way to the hotel.

This room... is under Huo Yunting’s name, so why is there a child? And why is Huo Li looking after him personally?

She stomped to the bed in her three-inch heels and asked usingly while pointing at the boy, “Who is he? Where is Yunting?”

Huo Li, who was sitting by the bed, slowly looked at her and said tly, “Please remember your ce. Leave!”

    Her ce?

Ming Yue’s fatigue vanished when she heard him. She was surprised and found it hard to believe that he spoke to her that way.

Indeed, she was just like a pet to Huo Yunting and nothing close to being his wife. Hence, even a subordinate like Huo Li dared to speak her like that!

“Well? Should I show you the way?” Huo Li cracked his knuckles. Him showing the way would involve a little more action.

Ming Yue was taken aback. “I am here to find Yunting. Where is he?”

It was still early in the morning. Even if he had left, he could not have gone far.

“Get out!” Huo Li yelled abruptly, annoyed by her presence.

She was only a distraction for Brother Ting from missing his wife. It seemed that Ming Yue had grown pretentious.

She heard some shuffling outside and realized that security guards wereing.

If she did not leave now, she might just be hauled out of the room.

Ming Yue reluctantly stepped outside as panic surged inside her.

It felt as though she was about to lose something very important.

After she was gone, little Huo Xu woke up from the noise. He rubbed his eyes with his tiny hands and looked at Huo Li with big, ssy eyes. He tilted his head in confusion.

“Who are you, uncle? Where is Yangyang?”

Huo Li shivered inside when he heard the little boy speak.

What the f*ck! He’s so cute! I wanna pinch his cheeks!

“Your mum is busy, so she asked me to look after you,” Huo Li lied through his teeth like the stereotypical creepy man who lied to children.

The young boy nodded, not entirely buying it. He noticed that the room was different, but the simr decor suggested that he was still in the same hotel.

Besides, the man looked familiar. He was probably not a bad guy.

The boy saw his clothes by the bed and started to dress himself.

Huo Li wanted to help, but he had never done anything like this before. Thus, he simply watched as the kid put on his clothes all by himself.

“Uncle, please don’t look at me like that, I’m shy.”

Xuxu said as he put on his tiny shirt and buttoned it calmly. He did not look shy at all!

This three-year-old toddler looks too calm!

Huo Li silently approved of Lu Zhaoyang’s child rearing skills.

“What’s your name?” He asked with a smile.

“Yangyang calls me Xuxu.” The boy knew to protect himself and did not provide his full name. He stood on the bed and started to put on his pants. “Did you help me take off my clothes?”

“Yeah, how are you going to thank me then?”

Huo Li studied the boy’s face closely, and more convinced that something was up. The paternity test cannot wait!
