    “Granny, I’ll take you to the hospital. You’ll be alright.”


    Anyone could hear the trembling in his voice.

    Seeing him, Tai An was surprised and pulled up the pistol without much thought.


    But before he could pull the trigger, a bullet sted out in his direction from the outside, and mmed against his arm!

    Tai An squeeled in pain and threw the gun aside by reflex.


    “Tai An!” Xiang Jinxi’s expression changed as he tried to go and pick up the pistol.

    Just as he had bend down, a sneering voice came from outside.


    At the door, was Huo Li, d in ck as he walked grimly and swiftly inside, his pistol trained towards Xiang Jinxi.


    “Mr Xiang, I suggest you to stay still if you don’t want your head to get popped.”


    Xiang Jinxi’s gaze flickered, before lifting his hands up.


    “I surrender.”


    “That’s more like it.”


    Huo Li nodded, and now only did he had the spare attention to give to Huo Yunting.


    Upon seeing Madam in a pool of blood, his expression changed, and immediately said, “Boss, the car’s just right outside, send Madam to the hospital now! Leave this to me!”
