    Bruce sputtered out the Chinese words as his gazended on his face, before frowning.


    Seeing that, Lu Bai took off his mask and sunsses, exposing his handsome face.


    He raised an eyebrow as he spoke in wless English. “Mr Bruce, it always pays to be careful in our line of work no?”


    “You’re certainly right.” Bruce nodded as he continued to eye him. “I heard from the call that you are looking to cooperate with me but now that the organization is destroyed, what makes you think I’ll agree to your request?”


    “You got it wrong, I’m not looking for cooperation. Rather, I’m looking to make an exchange with you.”


    Lu Bai smiled, as he said with confidence. “I know that you are eyeing the port project in Jing City, and I also know that youing to Z Country from abroad, is to expand your operations here, making new businesses.”


    “Go on.”


    “I can introduce you to someone, and as long as you work with him, once he secures the project, you’ll have the benefit of using the port facilities, and then, your drugs, weapons and antique business will have a smuggling route.”


    Lu Bai continued on at his pace, “And once done, I want you to promise me that you will get me out of Z Country, and get me a legitimate identity overseas.”


    Upon hearing his ns being pried apart one by one by Lu Bai, Bruce’s expression dimmed.

    “The CEO of Xiangyuan Corp, Xiang Jinxi.”


    Bruce had only came to the country barely over a month, and everything was still in its preliminary stage, so he was still unfamiliar with the local politics and factions.


    “I’ve heard that name somewhere before.”


    “He’s a capable person, but he had ran into troubles recently. So unless you extend a helping hand to him now, you will miss the chance to work with him forever.”
