Eighteen yearster.
Y Country Capital.
Inside a high school, students walked out in pairs and trios from time to time. All of them held their report cards as they walked forward, all the while chatting using Y country’snguage about their future.
The students of the senior year had already graduated and were now facing the most important checkpoint of their lives.
Which university to choose.
“Hey, Mo Ning! Please wait!”
From a distance, a male student in white shirt and khaki-colored cks ran over.
He had dark and fluffy hair. His clean and handsome features with the air of a vibrant youth. He quickly ran before one of the female students and stared at her.
“Can I know which university you’ll be choosing?”
The girl that he had called, Mo Ning, had waterfall-like ck hair than ran lusciously to her waist. A breeze blew and a few stray strands lifted up and formed into a pretty fan-like shape.
She was tall and lithe. A body even top supermodels would be envious for. Compared to her proportions, her face was even more astounding.
Her features were like god’s most prized work; wless, beautiful, perfect.
Her peachy eyes had a natural seductive allure to it yet she was distant. While she was may look unapproachable, she did not had that sort of cold superiority to her.
A respectful smile seemed to be forever etched upon her pink lips.
“I’ll be going to Z Country for my university.”
“OH?” The boy was stunned before looking down. “You’re going overseas?”
“Yeah, that’s what my mother had decided.”
Mo Ning smiled with her voice slow yet melodious.
“With your results, you can even go to the top universities of the country, why do you need to go overseas?” The boy did not want to give up. If Mo Ning were to leave the country, that meant it would be difficult for them to see each other again.
“Mo Ning. Stay here please.”
“Sorry.”
Mo Ning shook her head. Even her rejection was very polite.
“Apologies, I have something to do. I’ll head off first.”
As she said that, she left without any hesitation; leaving the boy were they stood with dejection etched onto his face.
Only after a while did he remember that he was here to confess to Mo Ning.
But sadly, he will never have the opportunity any more.
Sigh...
As he sighed, he walked away in dejection.
The students who had gathered around to witness the scene started discussing gleefully at the person’s misfortunate.
“Look, another fool who did not know where he stood. Say, how many people had confessed to Mo Ning this semester alone?
“If not eight then five hundred at least.”
“Mo Ning is the flower and goddess of our school. Who dares to date her will face the wrath of my fist!”
“Righto! Agreed!”
A group of people were adding salt and pepper into the conversation and quite a number of them were girls.
Mo Ning was veritably the goddess in the eyes of both male and female students in this high school.
She was gifted academically, pretty and her personality pleasant.
No matter who, as long as someone asked her for help, she would never hesitate to lend a hand.
Yet she did not like to stand out and was so unassuming that she was literally invisible at times, so much so that the girls that were jealous of her could not even begin to hate her.
She was kind to everyone yet she was cold and distant.
She had never had any rtionship beyond being ssmates with anyone as she stood cautiously within her own circle, never allowing herself to step out of it, neither allowing anyone in.
Mo Ning, was the byword of immacte perfection in the eyes of everyone.
