    What happened between Mo Ning and the Huo family that led to her intention to kill Lu Zhaoyang even though she liked the woman?

    Yan Sinian sat on a long bench in the garden, lit a cigarette, and inhaled deeply.

    Oblivious to Yan Sinian’s ponderings, Mo Ning returned to the dinner hall not realising that Lu Zhaoyang was there. Hence, she invited Huo Run for a dance again.


    As they were dancing, she noticed that Jiang Xiuyuan was also present. He had his arm around a gorgeousdy and smiled courteously as he conversed with the other guests in an elegant fashion.


    Jiang Xiuyuan noticed her gaze and greeted her with a gentle smile.


    Mo Ning found that she was looking at someone very simr to herself.


    “What are you looking at?” Huo Run asked curiously.


    Mo Ning lowered her head closer to Huo Run and replied mildly, “Jiang Xiuyuan is not a simple man, is he?”


    Huo Run looked at her in surprise and asked, “How do you know?”


    Seeing the mischievous smile on Mo Ning’s face, she chuckled and whispered by way of reply, “I know he behaves just like any other student back on campus, but that is all an act. The Jiang family is thergest force behind all illegal dealings in Z Country. Jiang Xiuyuan is only twenty-two, but he has taken over as the head of the family. That is why he is rarely seen on campus.”

    Mo Ning tilted her head inprehension.


    “Ning...” Huo Run cried abruptly.


    “Yea?”


    Mo Ning realized immediately that Huo Run had called her in a more familiar way and saw that she was blushing. She suppressed the ufortable feeling in her chest and yed along. “Runrun.”


    Huo Run bit down on her lip and blushed even more.


    Mo Ning smiled tenderly at the sight of Huo Run, but her eyes shed in recognition at what it all meant.


    She knew that from that moment on, the Huo family’s young miss had fallen for her.


    Even though she had failed to kill Lu Zhaoyang that night, her bond with Huo Run would provide her with ample opportunityter.


    When the banquet was finally over, the guests began to take their leave.


    Lu Zhaoyang and Huo Yunting were there to see them off.


    “You are wee to visit our ce anytime, Mo Ning,” Lu Zhaoyang said with a cheerful smile and added frankly, “I like you very much.”


    Huo Yunting threw a look at her. “I thought you told mest night that I’m the only one you like?”

    “Cough, it’s gettingte, you should head back now.”


    Huo Yunting went to them, discreetly separated her hands from Ning’s and then gripped his wife’s hand tightly. “I’ll ask the driver to send you home.”
