James and Nicholas went around nailing sign for people to sign up to be a soldiers.Richard and Liz went down to check on the armory. Liz''s leg was better but her doctor said she still wasn''t going to be able to fight. Liz wasn''t going to listen, she was going to fight nomatter what. They got to the armory room and check the supplies.Everything was in order. Liz grabbed one of the daggers and said with vengeance,
" I am going tokill Matthew."
" How, when you were told your not going to be able too?" asked Richard.
" I am going to be in the battle whether I was told I could or couldn''t," saidLiz brushing her finger on the blade.
" You sure are stubborn," Richard said smiling at her. Liz smiled back. Richard grabbed her hands and said,
" Try notto hurt yourself this time."
" Trust me I won''t," Liz said smiling. Richard kissed her forehead, smiled at her, then left. Shortly after that Nicholas walked in and kissed her hand.
" What are you doing down here?"He asked.
" Checking out the weapons," she said.
" Your not think about fighting," said Nicholas knowing the answer to his question.
" I am and I will," said Liz. Nicholas smiled and said,
" I will look forward to fighting with you." He got ready to leave when heturned to her and said,
" I am really glad to see you alive." Lizwalked over to him and got ready to say something when he grabbed her waist, pulled her into him, and kissedher. After a few second they broke the kiss. They both smiled.Nicholas kissed her again and said,
" I have to go now." Then he left. Liz went over to the bow and arrows. She laughed. It had reminded her of the time she went shooting withJames and almost got herself lost because she thought she knew where she was going. Soon sheheard footsteps. She turned to see James. She went up and hugged him. He kissed her forehead and asked,

Theyreached the practice range. No one was there which made Liz happy. They began to practice when theyhearda horn blow. James looked at Liz and said,
" They''re here."
" Thefollowers of theWhite Witch?" Liz asked
" Yes," James said concerned.

When they reached the castle they saw Matthew and Nicholas talking. Shortly after that Matthew left. Liz want toshoot him so bad, but knew she couldn''t. They walked up to Nicholas and asked him what that was all about.
" Matthew said that if we surrendernow there would be no fighting, but I told him no," said Nicholas.
" Do we haveour army yet?" James asked.
"Yes, and a lot of people too. We might have a good chance at winning this," said Nicholas.
" Then we need to start training them now," said Liz
" Yes, indeed," saidNicholas smiling at her, " I will go round everyone up and send all the archer to you and Liz. Richard will train hand to hand combatand I will train swordsmen. Afterlunch we will switch. It''s good for them to have experience with other forms of fight besides what they are good at."
