Chapter 451 -Backstory
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . .
Swoosh!
Suddenly, Dave opened his eyes and smiled as he sensed billions of luck energy strands within his body.
This amount was sufficient to be summoned by an exceptionally lucky person.
He could go directly to the portal, defeat the overlord, and wait for a summoner, but Aby had advised him to be summoned by someone with great luck, assuring him of greater benefits.
Though Aby hadn''t provided specific details, he trusted her, so he was keen on umting more luck energy strands.
"Now that you''ve paid me, wait for my newster,"
Dave said with a smile. He nned tounch his attackter, so Fu suggested taking him to his room to rest.
However, Dave declined and had some questions.
"By the way, how did you identally enter this ce? And how long have you all been here?" he inquired.
Fu and the other guardian exchanged nces, wearing bitter smiles.
Hilda exined, seeing the others were silent.
"To be honest, we used to live in the ming Sun Empire in the Celestial ne, where the five of us served as generals.
There are ten Emperors in the Human Alliance, and the emperor of the ming Sun Empire, known as the ming Emperor, had mastered the Law of Fire to perfection. Although humans are considered a lower-level race, we''re known for our rapid reproduction and adaptability in various situations.
The Gods asionally favor our human race, seeking promising individuals who could be heroes.
Three humans had sessfully be heroes, surpassing even the Divine Monarchs, but one of them met his end at the hands of the demon ''Assassin King,'' and another strayed from the right path.
The third hero remained mysterious, seemingly indifferent to our human race. The one who strayed was called the Celestial yer, the previous Sword Hero and a disciple of the Sword Goddess.
He began ughtering powerful individuals, including top races like the Dragon n, Phoenix n, Demon n, and even the God n.
His actions led to a violent conflict in the Celestial ne, with him killing thousands of formidable beings. Other Powerhouses intervened and managed to suppress him, though he escaped severely wounded."
The injuries were severe enough to potentially cripple the Celestial yer, and no one knew his current whereabouts, with many believing he might be dead.
Following this incident, the human race was subjected to revenge attacks by other races.
Although they didn''t attempt human extinction, humans were suppressed due to their fear of another "Celestial yer" emerging within their race.
He became the most hated human in the human race''s history.
All the emperors in the human alliance were on the verge of breaking through the barrier of their human bloodline, nearing the level of transcendental beings.
However, further progress was impossible due to the continued suppression by races in enmity with the human alliance. This suppression left the human race vulnerable to bullying.
The reason for this suppression was the fear that another "Celestial yer" might be born within the human race.
Later, the ming Emperor had a chance to break through and sought help from other emperors to protect him during his breakthrough.
His development brought joy to them, as having a Transcendent being would help the n rise again. However, news of this reached the Demon n.
The Demon King of Wrath held a grudge against the Celestial yer, and he secretly sent a demon army to destroy the ming Sun Empire, which was powerless against such a formidable force.
The other emperors, taken by surprise, protected the ming Emperor, but the Metal Emperor betrayed the human alliance and allied with the Demon King of Wrath in exchange for freedom from suppression and a chance to be a demon lord.
He is also the one who deliberately spreads the news to the demon king.
Enraged, the ming Emperor chose to sacrifice his remaining essence and energy to evacuate the survivors and instructed them to continue the human lineage.
While other emperors were furious about the Metal Emperor''s betrayal, they gave their all to eliminate the other demons before leading their empires to hide within their domains, as continuing the battle against such powerful demons would have been suicide.
The ming Sun Empire fell to the demons, and the survivors were transported to their current location."
Hilda paused in her narrative, seeing Dave''s amazement. He hadn''t expected such a story, and he wondered what had be of the Celestial yer.
"Then?" Dave asked, wanting to know more, and Hilda continued.
"An ident urred when we were being transported by the emperor, and we were sucked into a ck hole. Thanks to the emperor''s protection, we survived and found ourselves in this ce. We believed it to be safe due to the positive energy in this ce, and their emperor''s final words were to reunite with other humans if possible and to protect those with them.
"But we didn''t expect that this ce would be like hell. We were targeted by numerous creatures and lost many of our fellow nsmen,"
Hilda said with a sigh, and the others wore heavy expressions as they recalled their struggles.
"We''ve been in this ce for 100,000 years, and as Divine Monarchs, we''re nearing the end of our lifespans. We''ve been deeply concerned for the safety of our subjects. We never anticipated that you would arrive at such a perfect time," Hilda exined.
Dave nodded, understanding that Divine Monarchs could only live for 150,000 years, and most of the five guardians had only thousands of years left, while Fu had a mere 50 years.
"So, do you n to rebuild your ming Sun Empire when you return, or do you have something else in mind?" Dave inquired.
Fu looked at Dave and replied, "We''ve already discussed this matter, and we''ve decided to find a suitable to live a peaceful life, recover, build our strength in secret, and then reunite with other human empires. Hopefully, they will assist us."
Dave had learned much from their story and didn''t expect the pitiable situation of the human race in the Celestial ne.
