    “When the dishes are served, I’ll test the poison for you first.” Wace followed Sharon into the private room and sat opposite her.


    The first dish was an appetizer— Pufferfish skin. The small bowl was filled with crystal clear fish skin silk. It was apanied by green side dishes and a unique sauce.


    “What’s this sauce?” Sharon asked.


    “This is grapefruit vinegar.” The attendant ced the dishes on the table and politely left.


    “Honey, I’ll test the poison for you first,” Wace said with a smile.


    Wace picked up a piece of fish skin with his chopsticks, dipped it in grapefruit vinegar, and ced it in his mouth.


    “How is it?” Sharon looked at him nervously.


    “It’s especially delicious.” Wace deliberately craved her.


    “Really?” Sharon smiled and grabbed Wace’s hand. “Hubby, do you feel ufortable? Do you need me to call the emergency hotline for you?”


    Wace smiled at Sharon. A momentter, he suddenly covered his stomach with a painful expression and found it difficult to breathe. He fell onto the long sofa in the private room.


    Sharon was shocked and quickly ran over. Her heart was pounding. “Wace!! What’s wrong?!”

    Sharon was scared out of her wits by him just now. She hit Wace angrily.

    “Right?” Wace smiled.


    This fish skin was refreshing, crispy, and especially chewy. Coupled with the sauce, it tasted superb.


    Wace had reserved the Japanese food tonight in advance. If the guests who came to this restaurant wanted to eat pufferfish, they had to make an appointment in advance.
