    President Liu was efficient. As soon as she agreed. President Liu arranged to meet her at STAR Club that evening.


    Although President Liu was clearly targeting her for this business deal, she couldn’t afford to let her foundational work slip, such as familiarizing with theyout of all types of houses in Yan City Vis, their main advertising slogans, past interior design samples, design preferences, and so forth.


    Looking at it another way, Qin Zhiyou was still offering her a guaranteed 50,000 a month. She had to find ways to earn the remaining 70,000 herself.

    STAR Club was the most high-end entertainment venue in Yan City. It housed a reserved restaurant downstairs, and a bar, nightclub, and other recreational facilities upstairs. The top few floors were designed as a luxury hotel. It was aprehensive entertainment establishment where one could eat, drink, y, and stay.


    In one of the luxurious rooms in STAR, Qin Zhiyou casually leaned back on the sofa, one hand taking thest card dealt by the dealer, the other holding a ss. He took a sip of his drink, his handsome eyes squinting as if pondering something.


    The phone on the table kept shing, but he seemed toozy to pay attention. Yu Sixing beside him couldn’t stand it anymore and reminded, “Your phone has been ringing all night. Even if you’re not bothered, we’re getting annoyed by it. What if there’s a woman looking for you…”


    Qin Zhiyou raised an eyebrow, put down his ss, and swiped his screen open. His dark pupils scanned his WeChat inbox but he lost interest almost immediately, tossing the phone back on the table.


    He Weiyou peeked over, nced at the phone and mocked, “We came over especially for your gathering tonight, and you’re still working. Isn’t that a bit off?”


    Qin Zhiyou did not respond but threw his cards down, “All of tonight’s drinks are on me.”


    Yu Sixing and He Weiyou exchanged nces, realizing that he seemed to be in a bad mood. Yu Sixing moved next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulder tofort him, “Since we are out to have fun, we should make it a st. I recently invested in a live streaming website. A few of the female hosts there are not bad. Should we invite them over?”


    Qin Zhiyou tilted his head and let out a half-heartedugh, “Sure.”


    Soon, the door of the private room knocked open, and in walked a few girls in yful short skirts, one for each man. The girl sitting next to Qin Zhiyou not only had a sultry face, but also a pair of fine, long, straight and white legs. She poured him a full ss of wine as soon as she sat down.


    Qin Zhiyou sipped the wine and smiled, not saying a word. The woman next to him quickly refilled his ss as soon as it was empty. Qin Zhiyou swirled his whisky ss, the amber-colored liquid making a soft, chime-like sound as therge ice cubes collided with the ss. Looking at his drink with squinted eyes, his expression seemed rather dreamy.


    Yu Sixing brought his wine over, grinning from ear to ear, “So, pretty good, right?”


    Qin Zhiyou made a hum of agreement and made a remark, “For unemployed women from Dongguan, their quality is indeed impressive.”


    His words darkened the girls’ faces instantly. He Weiyou was about to say something, but saw Qin Zhiyou put down his ss, pick up his coat to leave. With a long stride, he walked toward the exit.


    He took out his phone; Lu Weixi’sst message was from before that call. Afterward, she never called him nor sent any messages..
