    Technically, this could be seen as their second encounter, but if we’re talking about a formal meeting, it was actually their first. Upon entering, they first met the parents. They had disdainful expressions on hearing that Qin Zhiyou wasing.


    Qin Zhigu took her for a stroll in the garden, where she heard Qin Zhiyou speaking on the phone. It had been almost two months since their first encounter. Aste autumn approached, the weather was turning cold. Qin Zhiyou was leaning against a maple tree in the yard, babbling on, his gaze slightly mncholy as he looked up at the red maple leaves. But when he heard them, he instantly turned around, his expression suddenly became cynical. When his gazended on her, she could tell that he was a bit surprised, but only for a moment. He immediately resumed his nonchnt demeanor. Then, Qin Zhigu introduced her, “Bro, this is my girlfriend Bai Weixi. Weixi, this is my older brother Qin Zhiyou.”


    He put away his phone, hands tucked in his pockets, even toozy to shake hands. He quirked an eyebrow, “Oh, your girlfriend, huh? She’s pretty.”


    Perceiving the slight frivolity in his gaze, she felt a bit irritated, but didn’t make a scene, politely calling him ‘big brother’.


    Just then, someone in the house called for Qin Zhigu, and he left to help. Lu Weixi was about to follow him, but Qin Zhiyou blocked her way. He leaned on a pole, an eyebrow arched in a mischievous smile, “You’re Zhigu’s girlfriend, huh? How are things going with him? Are you two together yet?”


    Lu Weixi’s eyes widened in instant rage, but before she could explode, Qin Zhiyou immediately apologized,ughing. “Sorry for being so blunt— so have you two kissed yet?”


    Without thinking, Lu Weixi pped Qin Zhiyou across the face. She finally understood why those girls at Osmanthus Garden had hit him – he definitely deserved it. Qin Zhigu was always so courteous and respectful to her since they started dating, the most they had done was hold hands and a quick peck on her cheek.


    Huffily stalking off in her high heels, Lu Weixiined to Qin Zhigu, “What kind of person is your brother? He’s super annoying!”


    Qin Zhiyou watched Qin Zhiguforting her from afar. Whatever he said quickly calmed her down. Feeling where she had just pped him, Qin Zhiyou curved his lips into a small smile.


    The very next day was a swimming ss. Wearing her swimsuit, Lu Weixi was diligently doing her stretches before entering the water, when a few senior students walked in, and Qin Zhiyou was amongst them.


    His arrival stirred up the girls in the room. His physique was excellent, from his broad shoulders to long legs, his muscr frame didn’t have an ounce of extra fat. While conversing with a few ssmates, upon noticing Lu Weixi, a small smile spread across his face and he began walking towards her.


    Lu Weixi saw him and feigned ignorance by looking down. But Qin Zhiyou’s attention was on her. He walked right up to her, grinning, “Swimming sses, huh? Want me to teach you?”


    “No need.” If she had known him to be there, she wouldn’t havee.


    “I see…” Just as Lu Weixi was about to leave, he stuck out a leg and tripped her. Pretending to catch her, they both fell into the swimming pool.


    Lu Weixi hadn’t learnt swimming yet, so she waspletely taken aback. As she was at a loss, Qin Zhiyou came over, casually pulling her in the water.
