    When the preset rm woke Lu Weixi up, she was alone again in therge bed.


    Her head throbbed with a painful ache, and her lips were dry. The hangover effect made her feel incredibly ufortable. She struggled for a while before finally managing to prop herself up on her arms and sit up. After looking dully at the bedside for a moment, she was about to get up when she just put on her shoes, she suddenly stopped.

    When she looked to the side, his side of the bed was untouched and the nkets and pillows did not look used. A nce around showed nothing amiss, except the slightly open window and a clean trash can.

    She finished brushing her teeth and freshening up at record speed, then casually walked out. Aunty Hao had already prepared breakfast, and Qin Zhiyou had moved to the dining room.


    Lu Weixi just sat down when Aunty Hao served her a bowl of soup. She recognized its vour immediately, hangover soup. She thanked her and started sipping silently. Across from her, Qin Zhiyou was slowly enjoying his breakfast, not even sparing a nce at her.

    After finally finishing breakfast, Qin Zhiyou gracefully wiped his mouth and headed to the garage. Lu Weixi rinsed her mouth and just as she was about to leave the house, she remembered something.


    Qin Zhiyou had brought her back from the barst night, which means they didn’t take her Chang’an. That’s why she had to rely on his car to get to work. Seeing the Mercedes-Benz pulled out from the garage, she sprinted over and opened the car door, “Give me a ride to work.”
