    This time, because of Jian Yiling’s invitational tickets, Hu Jiaojiao’s mother once again flew over to Beijing.


    On the day of theunch event, Jian Yiling, Hu Jiaojiao, and Hu Jiaojiao’s mother met at Zhong Xin za.


    Hu Jiaojiao’s mother had a petite build and a round face. Her skin was fair and her hair was permed and medium length.


    Hu Jiaojiao’s mother was incredibly happy when she saw Jian Yiling. She adored Jian Yiling even though it was her first time meeting her.


    She grasped Jian Yiling’s right hand and enthusiastically said:


    “Miss Yiling, I finally got to meet you! My daughter is incredibly lucky to have you as her friend! Thanks to you, my daughter actually managed to get into university!”


    Hu Jiaojiao’s mother knew that Jian Yiling was incredibly smart. She also knew that due to Jian Yiling’s influence, Hu Jiaojiao made significant progress in her studies during high school.


    Therefore, in Hu Jiaojiao’s mother’s mind, Jian Yiling was a god-like existence.


    Then, Hu Jiaojiao’s mother slipped a credit card into Jian Yiling’s hands.


    “Miss Yiling, I simply loved those bags you gave mest time! However, I can’t just take them! They’re way too expensive! Therefore, you must take this card! The password is Hu Jiaojiao’s birthday!”


    “Those were gifts to Hu Jiaojiao,” Jian Yiling replied. She didn’t want to ept the credit card.


    “Yes, yes. I understand. However, the gifts were way too expensive! Furthermore, Hu Jiaojiao gave all of them to me. I can’t just ept all of them! That’d be taking advantage of you.”


    Hu Jiaojiao’s mother insisted on giving Jian Yiling the money.


    This matter had been on her mind for a long time. Today, she finally had the chance to do so!


    Hu Jiaojiao hurriedly said: “Yiling, just ept the card. If you don’t take it, my mother won’t be able to sleep well at night!”


    “Yes, yes! I wouldn’t be able to sleep well at night!” Hu Jiaojiao’s mother echoed.


    As Jian Yiling was not good at such a conversation, she said nothing more. She slipped the card into her bag.


    Then, the three of them walked to theunch site.


    As the seats at the conference were not numbered, anyone with an invitation could just enter.


    The three of them found seats near the back.


    “Hu Jiaojiao, if there are limited-edition bags, you need to buy them for me! I heard that there’s some sort of technology where you can buy things using a QR code!”


    “Mother, XDL’s productunch event ispletely different from supermarkets! How could they possibly be the same?”


    “But I love supermarkets! You can grab whatever to what. In addition, there are so many bargains. Even though our family has a lot of money now, I still love taking advantage of bargains!”


    The Hu family had billions of dors. However, Hu Jiaojiao’s mother still enjoyed bargaining at supermarkets.


    She was willing to bargain for a few dors at supermarkets yet she didn’t even blink when it came to purchasing limited-edition bags that cost hundreds of thousands of dors.


    “Waaa, this productunch event is so high-tech,” Hu Jiaojiao’s mother eximed. She waspletely amazed by the arrangement of the venue.


    “Mother, please keep your voice down. Don’t disturb others,” Hu Jiaojiao reminded.


    However, Hu Jiaojiao was also super amazed.


    “Ooooo, true. I will keep my voice down.”


    “Where did this country bumpkine from? Have you not seen the world before?”


    The woman in the seat next to Hu Jiaojiao’s mother snapped impatiently.


    A tall woman dressed in fashionable clothes looked at Hu Jiaojiao, Hu Jiaojiao’s mother, and Jian Yiling in contempt.


    All three of them stuck out like a sore thumb. They dressedpletely differently from everyone else.


    Everyone else wore dazzling clothes. Men were in suits and ties whilst the woman wore custom-made dresses or work clothes.


    On the other hand, Jian Yiling and Hu Jiaojiao dressed incredibly casually.. They looked like average university students.
