Guan Ming was not happy to hear that Cami actually belonged to the Lim family. Despite everything he wanted to do right by Cami and he wanted to ask the head of the family for the right to court her.


    Knowing that he had to ask Ian''s permission to court Cami, pissed him off.


    Ian was worried that he would storm off when Ian told him that Cami and he were cousins. But he was quite surprised when Cami managed to calm Guan Ming down.


    "You do know that I would never stop Cami from being with someone she loves, right?" Ian asked Guan Ming when he finally calmed down.


    "I don''t take chances with Cami." Guan Ming said as he red at Ian.


    "Ian is like a brother to me Ming. He was there over the years that I was alone." Cami said as she tried to get Guan Ming to like Ian.


    "It''s a good thing then that Ian didn''t try to make a move on you." Guan Ming mumbled.


    When Ian heard what he had said he spat his coffee out andughed, Cami alsoughed as if they had some sort of inside joke between them.


    "No way, the two of you?" Cedric asked as he eyed the pair suspiciously.


    "I swear if you had some incest shit going on-" Guan Mingg said in a loud voice, but he stopped midsentence when Ian rolled his eyes at him. "Don''t you dare make fun of me." He challenged Ian.


    "Rx, there has been any sexual attraction between me and Cami." Ian said as he shook his head. "I swear all she has been is a friend and sister."


    "Yeah, he went as far as telling me that he wasn''t interested and that he had a girlfriend at the time." Cami said as she confirmed what had happened. "Despite all the time I spent with Ian, I have had nothing but brotherly love for him."


    "Ouch, but the feeling is mutual." Ian said with augh.


    "Are you calm now?" Cami asked Guan Ming as she saw him rx.


    "Yes, I''m just tired." Guan Ming said with a nod. "I just arrived, then we had dinner with Lucius Ting, and now this."


    "Let''s go back to the hotel." Cami said with a nod. "Cedric, can I use one of the smaller suites?"


    "Do you really need to ask? I told you, you and Ian can use Constetions any time, you don''t even need to ask for my permission." Cedric said with a sigh.


    "It''s always best if I ask for your permission. I don''t want to overstep." Cami exined.


    "It will never be overstepping with you and Ian, both of you have saved my life. Both of you are practically Reyeses at this point." Cedric said as he smiled lovingly at Cami.


    "I don''t think the Lim family would appreciate it if we became Reyeses." Ian pointed out with a grin. "Althoughbining the two would be fun." He said with a grin.


    "You''re crazy and tired, go home." Cedric told Ian.


    "Wait, what if you spent the night with me?" Guan Ming asked as he looked tentatively at Cami.


    "Would it be dangerous?" Guan Ming asked Cedric and Ian.


    "I don''t see how it would be." Cedric said with a shrug. "Lucius Ting has no men in Constetions, I made sure of that. I had the ce sweeped and the staff checked multiple times."


    "I doubt he has realized that you own the ce." Cami told Cedric. "If he knew, he would have found it suspicious that Guan Ming was staying there rather than at the Maharlika."


    "What excuse do you guys have for that by the way?" Ian asked Guan Ming and Cedric. "Maharlika is the top hotel in the county, Guan Ming not staying there is quite suspicious. Especially since Wu Jun has booked a room there."


    "Easy, Ming wanted to avoid the paparazzi so he thought of staying at a good hotel that wasn''t predictable." Cedric said with a shrug. "Add to that the fact that Constetions is known for its anti-paparazzi facilities, it would be the perfect ce."


    "So it''s safe?" Guan Ming asked Cedric.


    "Well, what excuse did you give Lucius for staying at Constetions?" Cedric asked Cami.


    "I told him I had a friend that was staying there, and that I would hang out with her." Cami exined. "I told Lucius Ting that my brother woulde get me in the morning."


    "Then that''s fine." Cedric said with a nod. "There won''t be a record of you staying at Ming''s room. Just make sure that Benedict picks you up tomorrow with a change of clothes and takes you to work."


    Cami nodded at Cedric''s instructions.


    "And you, I don''t want to see you anywhere near my office." Cedric said as he pointed at Guan Ming.


    "Can''t I take her to work, ride with her brother in his car?" Guan Ming asked.


    He was desperate to spend as much time as possible with Cami, they had been separated for way too long and he wanted to savor every moment.


    "No, you already get to spend tonight with her, that''s already taking a risk." Cedric said as he ced his foot down. "I will not let your love sick mind put Cami or Benedict in any danger. So you better stay at Constetions and stick to your schedule." Cedric warned.


    "Yes." Guan Ming mumbled.


    "And don''t you dare change your schedule to bring you anywhere remotely close to Mor Co. don''t mess this up for everyone." Cedric warned.


    "I''m not stupid." Guan Ming said as he red at Cedric.


    "Alright. I''ll see you around then." Cedric said with a smile as he and Guan Ming shook hands.


    "Let''s catch up after the dust settles. I want to meet your son." Guan Ming told Cedric with a smile.


    It seemed that as long as Cami was not the topic, Guan Ming could be calm and fun to be around.


    "Have a safe drive back to the hotel." Cedric told Cami and Guan Ming as he walked them and Ian to the door.


    "I n to make the most of tonight.." Guan Ming said with a wink as he held Cami''s hand and walked her to the car.
