After eating the main course meal while chatting over deep matters, their French desserts were served.


    The bottle of red wine in the middle of the table had been touched, as a little quantity was poured into their wine sses.


    ncing at the chocte pots de créme, Profiteroles and macarons before her, Zhang Liling rubbed her palms together as a glint shed across her eyes.


    Her entire being beamed with excitement, showing just how good she felt with the choice of desserts served.


    Seeing how happy she was, Mr. Fang felt a feeling of warmth wash over him. "Eat," his said to her in a gentle voice.


    "Oh... Thank you," Zhang Liling said and immediately made a go for the pink macaroon on her te.


    Instead of eating, he watched her with a subtle smile at the tip of his lips. It was truly satisfying to watch her eat.


    After eating the first piece of French dessert, she picked another one and sent it into her mouth before making a beeline for the pots de créme.


    "Mmmmm..." She moaned while nodding as hershes fluttered lightly in satisfaction. "This is so good."


    With a mouth full of food, she didn''t mind waiting for the one in her mouth to go down her throat before sending a spoon of the melted chocte-like thick substance into her mouth.


    As for the handsome mature man sitting across from her, I don''t think she even remembered his existence when she was surrounded by goodies.


    But that was until she was half-way through with her pots de créme that she seemed to have discovered his presence.


    Zhang Liling felt a keen gaze on her and slowly slowed down on her fluid movement as she gradually raised her head.


    Right at that moment, she met face to face with the man staring right at her with his index finger on his jaw.


    He seemed to be in a rxed state while watching her fill her stomach with sweet French desserts.


    "Ah... Mr. Fang, you should try these sweet dishes instead of watching me eat, they are delicious..." She said with her eyes moving about in guilt.


    A soft sigh fell of Mr. Fang''s lips as he reached out to pick up his dessert spoon and dug into his own share of pots de créme.


    "Seeing how you are enjoying this, maybe I should have punished you for taking extra 30 plus minutes to get ready."


    If he knew that she would truly enjoy the desserts he specially requested for them, he would not have let her have any of them.


    To punish her, he would let the chef bring them over, but then, he wouldn''t let her touch any, while he ate them all in her front.


    That would surely be a sweet revenge iced with fun.


    Understanding what he meant although she couldn''t feel any grudges from his tone, Zhang Liling put down her spoon with a smile ying at the corner of her lips.


    "Mr. Fang, it wasn''t actually my fault." She began. Exining further, her facial expression turned serious as the smilepletely disappeared from her face.


    "I was looking for a few of my clothes, but they seemed to have developed wings and flown away. No matter where I searched for them, I couldn''t find them."


    Pausing in her speech, she shifted her gaze to his face and continued while gesturing with her hands.


    "I mean, my closet was organized, but howe I couldn''t find them?"


    Sighing heavily as she leaned her back against the chair. Her gaze left his face as her lips drew out in a pout.


    "Now, I have a pile of clothes scattered all over my walk-in closet. And that''s a lot of work to organize them once again."


    Just thinking about the work she had waiting for her at home after this romantic date, made her head pound.


    A smirk turned up at the ends of Mr. Fang''s lips, but immediately he masked it by parting his lips and shoving a spoon of dessert into his mouth.


    ''You are looking for your clothes? Good luck.''


    "I thought I left them at your ce before leaving for Paris, but now, I''m not sure anymore." Shifting her gaze back to his face, she continued, "Or maybe I should go back to my apartment to search for them."


    "Eat your desserts," Fang Bingwen said while pointing at the small bowl before her with his spoon.


    "Oh... that''s right."


    At that reminder, Zhang Liling''s mood brightened up as she immediately picked up her spoon once again.


    After having their desserts, they went to sit at the two-sitter sofa with their wine sses. Now, they could nce at the night view and continue chatting after one of the waiters, opened up the electronic thick curtains with the remote.


    "This is beautiful," Zhang Liling said with admiration in her eyes as she brought the rim of the ss to her lips.


    "It is," Mr. Fang said in agreement as he crossed his leg over the other.


    "Left for me, I would like toe here everyday, and I won''t get tired of it, even for a bit." Zhang Liling said as her eyes caught sight of the tall and short buildings with several bright lights turned up inside of them.


    The sight felt magical as it brought peace to her.


    "You can alwayse back here if you want." Fang Bingwen said from the side.


    Instantly, She turned her smiling gaze to him and adjusted her sitting position, almost spilling the wine in her ss.


    "Careful," He said and immediately caught the ss in her hand in time, before gently putting it down on the stool before them.


    "Oh... Mr. Fang, how about we strike a deal,"


    "What kind of deal is that? Surely, you wouldn''t be meaning well for me."


    "Hahaha..." A cackle escaped her lips as she smacked his arm gently.


    "Don''t conclude yet. Well, here is my idea. How about Ie here every time I want, but once I can''t sponsor my peace of mind anymore, I would turn to you?" She suggested while sending a wink his way.


    Mr. Fang looked her up and down before asking, "You would turn to me for what? Forfort, or for more money to spend?"


    He was yet to understand her purpose, as anything was possible with her.
