"For almost a year, you deprived me of sex and being a good man, I didn''t once try to sleep with another woman, but you may not believe that." Tang Ei confessed.


    "How did I deprive..." Zhang Xiaoling started, as her brows creased slightly, but unable to continue, she quickly dismissed it.


    "What are you trying to say?" She asked instead with her pair of dark eyes squinting at him.


    Slipping his hands inside the front pockets of his pants, he turned to his left side and allowed his steps to continue.


    "Seems it looks like you are starting to regret the decision you made, I can help you out," he said as he slowly approached her side.


    ''Why is heing over here?'' Zhang Xiaoling thought to herself as she took a step back.


    Suddenly walking over to her, what did he want to do?


    She would rather he returned to where he wasing from, or go into the inner room as he had earlier intended.


    "I don''t mind if we have a child together." He said and immediately, he slipped his hands out of his pockets and wanted to embrace her, but she ran away.


    Zhang Xiaoling had been keeping her eyes on him and immediately after he made that move, she hurriedly escaped from his clutches bynding on the bed with her butts.


    "Ei! What nonsense are you driving at?" she questioned him immediately as she lifted her legs to the bed and slides over to the other side of the bed as quickly as she could in case he still wanted to chase after her.


    Unexpectedly, Tang Ei did not continue chasing after her. His gaze turned seriousas he slipped his hand inside his pockets again.


    "You are the one running away now. Everything is your fault. Don''te andin about my mother insulting you about having children because I will never defend you. You are the reason this marriage is sexless."


    Breathing out heavily, he added, "Don''t me me if I go outside and ask another woman to give me a child. At that time, don''t say that I tarnished your reputation."


    Saying up to this point, he turned around walked back to the other side of the bed.


    Without stopping in his steps, he pushed the door to the inner room open and stepped inside as Zhang Xiaoling''s eyes followed him till he disappeared from her view.


    There was a subtle confusion visible on her face as she slowly got off the bed as different thoughts harassed her mind.

    Regardless of her thoughts, she still left for the Zhang mansion the next day.


    She was not ready to listen to her mother-inw continue to insult her. Already, she gave her an eye roll during dinner.

    Over the next two days, Zhang Liling moved her things back to her apartment without leaving a single item behind.


    She was very serious about leaving, and that surprised Fang Bingwen a bit although he didn''t talk about it.


    At least, this made him know that there was more to her.


    Moving out of his house without him giving her that idea, told him that she had bigger ns for herself, which was a good thing.


    At least she wouldn''t appear as just an ordinary woman living under a man''s roof.


    On this day, after helping her to take thest luggage into her bedroom, he decided to take a look around her house again.


    "You really kept your ce in a good condition." He noted, his gaze darting around as his feet dragged along every part of her house.


    "That''s what money can do. I had the housekeepere over once a month to clean it up." Zhang Liling replied from her room.


    Normally, as she had been away for a year, her ce would have been dusty and a bit messy, but because she had the housekeepere over to take care of her apartment while she was in Paris, the living condition was good.


    Stepping out of her bedroom, with a smile hanging at the corner of her lips, she asked after the man with his back turned to her as he stood in the short hallway leading to the living room.


    "Mr. Fang, what would you like to have?"


    Instantly, he turned to look at her. "I don''t think I have time for that. I need to go back, I have..."


    Zhang Liling didn''t let him finish as she embraced him immediately andid the wide of her face on his chest.


    "Please, stay for a little bit. At least try my cooking again before you leave," she pleaded.


    A few minutester, Zhang Liling was already in her kitchen looking at her refrigerator.


    Smiling from ear to ear, she reached out to take out the fresh tomatoes and veggies she needed to make a simple sauce to go with boiled pasta.


    Thankfully, she had asked the housekeeper to get a few things from the supermarket for her the previous day and now she had ingredients to work with.


    Without wasting time, she opened up the pack of parboiled pasta and poured it into a bowl before starting to boil water in a pot.


    In the middle of cooking, Mr. Fang walked in to see what she was up to.


    Hearing the sounds of footsteps close by, Zhang Liling turned to nce at the entrance to see the man already standing there and letting his eyes fly around the ce.


    "Mr. Fang, it''s a little hot in here, just wait in the living room for a little while longer."


    The little woman was afraid that he would be ufortable in the kitchen and hurriedly tried to send him out, but the man thought otherwise.


    Stepping in proper, Fang Bingwen allowed his gaze to hover around the kitchen before letting itnd on her.


    "I came to see how you were faring, but who knew you would be doing so well. I am quite surprised that you keep the kitchen neat as you work. Good job!"
