As quickly as her legs could carry her, Zhang Liling went straight to find Tungmei, not minding the eyes that were on her as she walked past the offices


    Honestly, she was disrupting her father''s staffs, but she didn''t mind.


    As a non co-worker, she didn''t have the right to intrude into Zhang Corp''s personal workce, but those managers that saw her, were first surprised with her sudden presence and one question remained in their mind.


    What was she doing here?


    Ignorant of what they thought of her, Zhang Liling ventured into her best friend''s workce.


    Standing at the entrance, her gaze sweptst the work desks and the people each upying one, in search of a familiar someone.


    Her brows furrowed slightly when she didn''t see her friend at first nce.


    ''Where is she?'' She thought as she met the gazes of the weird nces from others.


    <o>,m Tungmei was deeply buried in her work and therefore, she was ignorant of Liling''s intrusion.</o>


    All that was going on in her mind, was to finish her work and submit and clock off work early today.


    She still had to prepare for Glint''sunch the next day.


    As her fingers flew over the keyboard on her desk while her eyes tried to catch what she was typing, the whispers from her surrounding brought her back to reality as her train of concentration broke.


    She was about to re up when she saw almost everyone staring at one particr direction. Instinctively, her fingers paused in mid-air as her gaze shifted toward that direction only to see an unexpected familiar figure standing at the entrance.

    Tungmei was stunned by her best friend''s presence that her mouth was left agape as different thought flew into her head.

    Zhang Liling was still standing at the door trying to find Tungmei in the mass of people in therge working space of the Management department when a man in his 40''s with the middle of his head bald, approached her with a smile.


    The man had his hands behind his back with an office work ID tag around his neck.


    Recognizing her and seeing her gestures, he guessed that she must be looking for someone and hurriedly went over to curry favour with her.


    "Miss..."


    But just as he tried to started a conversation with her, a humorous female voiceing from the office, resounded in therge room, automatically cutting him off.


    "Liling!" Tungmei called out with a smile as she stood to her feet and with her gaze directed at Liling.


    Seeing a mean leader in her department going to her, she was forced to shout out to her.


    Hearing the familiar voice calling out to her as everyone looked between her a d the person, the corners of Zhang Liling''s lips curled on seeing the person she was looking for.


    Without reserved, she walked into therge working space proper with the box in her hand.


    "I''ve been looking for you, were you hiding from me?"


    As she said that to everyone''s hearing without caring that she was disrupting their work, she stopped in front of Tungmei who didn''t look rxed in anyway.


    ''Does this girl know where we are?'' She thought to herself as she stole a nce at the few people who still had their gaze on them.


    This was so embarrassing.


    Taking her arm, Tungmei replied while trying to signal her to remember where they were. This was her work ce, and not a restaurant.


    How could she not care about that?


    "I was preupied with work and was distracted when I heard the hushed voices beside me."


    Fortunately, Zhang Liling understood the eye blinking sign she gave to her, and decided to lead her out.


    "I came to see my father, but I don''t know where his office is. This is my first time here, can you show me where it is?"


    Instantly, Tungmei sighed in relief as she quickly followed her out while asking to the hearing of the people at a close range as them.


    "You could have called him and he would send someone to escort you..."


    "No, I want to surprise him." Zhang Liling replied as her voice faded away.


    As soon as the two of them went away, the employees of the Management department, began to whisper amongst themselves.


    "Was that Zhang Liling just now?"


    "This is the first time I''m seeing the President''s biological daughter here."


    "I heard she was supposed to start work here at the same time as her brother, but her stepmother worked against it."


    "What is she doing here?"


    "Didn''t here, she came to see President Zhang."


    "She said something about wanting to surprise him, maybe they are in good terms..."

    "Liling, did you reallye to see your father?" Tungmei asked curiously as they continued walking down the hallway.


    "Yes, but there is someone important that I must see first." Zhang Liling replied with her gaze darting around the somewhat busy hallway, in search of someone.


    Curious as to the person that made her friend so worked up, Tungmei inquired about it. "And who is that?"


    At that question, Zhang Liling turned her gaze to her. It was as if she remembered that there was no time to continue wasting.


    "On my way to you, I saw Zhang Mingyu and one youngdy following after him."


    "Oh... You have seen Mika? What a faithful meeting." Tungmei said in realization. But before she could catch her breath, she heard her friend make a request.


    "Show me to Zhang Mingyu''s office."


    "I thought you came for your father?" She inquired with a look of surprise on her face.


    "Mmmmm... I will see himter. Zhang Mingyu and that girl left together, I want to confirm something." Zhang Liling said, giving off an evil smile with an equally wicked vibe.


    Instantly, Tungmei clicked with her, as she came to an understanding of what she wanted to do.
