    At this hour, most of the residents were back from work or school, and everyone gathered round to watch the fun.

    The middle-aged woman in charge of registration was going to write her name down when He Jiayu went up to her. “The name is He Jiayu.”


    “What? I thought the youngdy here is the contestant?” The woman was confused.


    Su Xiaomo was about to say something when He Jiayu covered her mouth with a hand. “She was only saying that for me.”


    “I see.” The woman nodded, then wrote He Jiayu’s name down.


    No one there recognized the handsome teenager as that He Jiayu from Starry Night.


    “What are you doing... I want to do it!” Su Xiaomoined. “You can register yourself. We can double the chances of winning if there’s two of us! Why did you take my ce...”


    He Jiayu gave her a meaningful look and said sinctly, “Watermelons are rather cold and girls shouldn’t eat too much of them.”


    Su Xiaomo pursed her lips. Before she could mock He Jiayu for thatment, thepetition started.


    Over a dozen people were taking part and every single one of them looked likepetition.


    Su Xiaomo hopped around anxiously as He Jiayu ate through his watermelon unhurriedly. She almost rushed up to the stage to take his ce!


    However, as time passed, the contestants began to give up. He Jiayu, on the other hand, went on eating.


    Only then did Su Xiaomo remember that they weren’tpeting to see who ate the fastest, but who could eat more!


    Ten minutester, there were only five people left.


    Fifteen minutes passed and the number was down to three.


    Twenty minutester, the only ones left were He Jiayu and a guy with a substantial appetite.


    The two men exchanged looks and the guy snorted before he went on wolfing down watermelon.


    He Jiayu still ate slowly and gracefully.


    The big appetite guy probably ate too quickly. He burped all of a sudden and began to vomit.


    Hence, he was eliminated.


    He Jiayu unhurriedly finished one piece of watermelon more than the big appetite guy.
