Chapter 55: She Was With Me Last Night

    An extremely loud fart exploded in the room, and the entire office was enveloped in silence for a moment as all of them tried to hold back theirughter.

    Ever since she ate those medicinal pills of Teacher Huang’s, she had been feeling ufortable and even vomited on the way to school today!


    To make the matters worse, she had even released a loud fart. This simply caused her to lose any remaining face she had.


    Li Juan forcefully endured her embarrassment and questioned the student. “Bai Chuwei, I can forget about the fact that you skipped yesterday’s self-revision lesson, but why didn’t you hand in your homework today?”


    Bai Chuwei leveled an odd gaze at her. “I didn’t do it, so obviously I didn’t hand it in.”


    Li Juan nearly spat out blood in anger. “Why didn’t youplete your homework?”


    “I didn’t feel like doing homework.”


    If not for the novel’s plot, she would not have even cared to attend school.


    Just as Bai Chuwei said that, a graceful figure entered the room. She ced a pile of exercise books on the desk and gave a sweet smile. “Teacher Li, this is ss 11’snguage homework. Everyone has handed in their work.”


    Tong Qingyan looked at Bai Chuwei and smiled as she asked. “Student Bai, could it be that you didn’tplete the homework because you’ve transferred here recently and have yet to adapt? Maybe you didn’t know how to do the questions?”


    Bai Chuwei revealed azy expression as she discerned that the female lead seemed to have a trace of hostility against her already. Her red lips curled up and she said in an indifferent tone, “Student Tong’s listening skills seem to becking. I clearly said that I didn’t feel like doing the homework.”


    Tong Qingyan’s smile stiffened. She did not expect Bai Chuwei to be so blunt.


    When Li Juan saw this ignorant and ipetent garbage student refuting her beloved student, she burned with mes of fury.


    Li Juan heavily mmed the table and her expression turned colder. “Bai Chuwei, did you y games and watch dramas instead ofpleting your homework? Do you think you are Tong Qingyan? Even though she dabbles in live broadcast and video editing, she can make it into the top ten. Can you?”


    Bai Chuwei gently stroked her nose and said, “If I wish to, I can.”


    The main point was, she did not wish to do so.


    She wanted to be a loafer and did not intend to study.


    Li Juan was angered by Bai Chuwei’s words of indifference to the extent that her hair stood up in anger.


    She then sternly asked her. “What did you dost evening!? If you cannot give a proper reason, you shall write a three thousand word reflection essay!”


    Just as she said that, a male deep voice simr to a harp sounded from behind. “She was with me yesterday.”
