“Ian. Professor Lu, don’t tell me that you don’t know him.” Colin was frank.

Colin knew Ian? How? Lu Jia’er could not refrain from being interested in this man’s identity.

“What if I say I don’t know him?” Lu Jia’er replied with a question.

Lu Jia’er was ying dumb. Colin put away his smile. “Professor Lu, I am sincerely trying to help you. If you are not willing to ept that, I will not force it.”

Lu Jia’er looked at him. Since she could not hear his inner voice, she had no way to prove the authenticity of these words from Colin in front of her. “There must be more to your identity!” said Lu Jia’er.

Colin put on a forced smile. “Just now, I said that you know that I am special. As for my profession, I am not lying. I am a doctor and a special effects makeup artist.”

Hearing this, Lu Jia’er said, “Okay. I believe you. But I have another question. How do you know that I can read people’s minds?”

“If I say that Ian told me that, would you believe me?” Colin asked.

“No!” Lu Jia’er gave him a t answer.

Colin burst intoughter. “Professor Lu, as a psychologist, you seem to have some trust issues!”

“It’s not that I have trust issues. But based on my understanding of Ian, it is unlikely that he would tell people my secrets.” Lu Jia’er retorted.

“Professor Lu, you may know the past Ian, but not necessarily the new Ian.” Colin said, in a cold voice.

“What do you mean?” Lu Jia’er asked.

Colin stared at Lu Jia’er. “People can change.”

“People can change but not Ian.” Lu Jia’er disagreed.

“Do you really trust him so unconditionally?” Colin looked directly into Lu Jia’er’s eyes.

At those words, Jin Xiangdong turned his looks to Lu Jia’er as well. Thetter noticed that. She paused a moment and said to Jin Xiangdong, “I trust him!”

Colin smiled to hear this answer. “If so, I have no morements!”

Jin Xiangdong, who had been listening in their conversation, interrupted. “Jia’er, you have just woken up. Save some breath.”

Lu Jia’er replied, “I am fine. But this is not a proper ce for us to stay long!” With that said, she got up slowly.

Jin Xiangdong was about to stop her when Colin said all of a sudden, “Professor Lu is right. This is not a proper ce for you to stay!”

Lu Jia’er grabbed Jin Xiangdong’s arm to help herself up. “Colin, I will tell you the coordinate. Now, help us with the disguise.”

Jin Xiangdong looked at her. They exchanged eye contact for one second. Jin Xiangdong said nothing more because he was sure that Lu Jia’er must have devised a n.

Colin showed them to another room. There was a workshop here.

Jin Xiangdong and Lu Jia’erid down. Colin opened his toolbox and sprang to work.

Lu Jia’er had only seen disguise in literature or movies. Now, to change a person’s look, if it was just a one-time thing, then special effects makeup was the way to go, and cosmetic surgery would be for someone looking for a more permanent change.

For the first time, Lu Jia’er saw a man she was familiar with changing into aplete stranger right in front of her eyes. It was as if Colin’s hands could perform magic. Jin Xiangdong was changed into the man printed on the passport.

Jin Xiangdong was tall and strong. However, his looks were still oriental. Yet, with Colin’s work, it was like Jin Xiangdong had gone through cosmetic surgery. His looks, and temperament, had changedpletely, into someone with mixed blood.

Lu Jia’er waspletely amazed. Colin’s workmanship was uncanny. She eximed that the new look on Jin Xiangdong’s own handsome face was still beautiful.

Colin finished his work with Jin Xiangdong and asked Jin Xiangdong to look into the mirror. He was a changed man.

“What do you think?” Colin looked at his own work with pride.

Jin Xiangdong reviewed his new look and said to Colin, “You would be a criminal mastermind if you were not a doctor!”

Hearing Jin Xiangdong’sment, Colin smiled, “You tter me!”

Lu Jia’er noticed the change in Colin’s expressions. She thought over it for a few seconds, realizing that her heart skipped a beat.

It was Lu Jia’er’s turn after Jin Xiangdong was done. Since Lu Jia’er’s forehead was wounded, Colin was particrly gentle and careful.

“How long will this makeupst?” Lu Jia’er asked.

“Generally, a week. However, since there is a wound in your forehead, in your case, about 48 hours especially if your skin festers!” Colin said.

“You must have helped many people change their looks to develop your excellent skills.” Lu Jia’er said.

Colin looked at Lu Jia’er. “Not many! Just about a dozen.”

The corners of Lu Jia’er’s lips curled up, “Then how privileged we are!”

Colin epted herpliment and said, “Indeed, this is your privilege! Don’t talk. I will be done soon!”

Hearing this, Lu Jia’er stopped talking. When she opened her eyes again, just like Jin Xiangdong, she was a changed woman.

Colin was very satisfied with his two masterpieces. “Wear contact lenses and invisible fingerprints and it will be wless!”

Lu Jia’er repeated Jin Xiangdong’sment from before, “Colin, if you use your disguise skills tomit crimes, it would go off without a hitch.”

Colin grinned. “Unfortunately, I am aw-abiding citizen!”

Lu Jia’er smiled at this answer. “I am just joking.”

With new looks and new clothes, Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong had thoroughly remodeled themselves.

Colin looked at the two people in front of him and handed them a car key. “You can drive away in the car with license te tail number of 098 in the garage.”

Jin Xiangdong took over the key and said to Colin. “Thank you!”

Lu Jia’er gave a piece of paper to Colin with a string of digits written on it.

Colin checked the digits and smiled at Lu Jia’er. “Thank you, Professor Lu!”

Lu Jia’er asked him, “Aren’t you afraid that this coordinate are fake?”

“I believe that, Professor Lu, you have witnessed my sincerity. These coordinates are real of course!” Colin was certain.

“You can never tell!” Lu Jia’er gave a simple answer.

Colin smiled. “Say it’s fake, I can locate Professor Lu and Mr. Jin again.” With that said, Colin pointed to the passports they were using.

Jin Xiangdong and Lu Jia’er understood something right away. Jin Xiangdong blurted out his question, “You kidnapped those two people?”

Colin shook his head. “No, no, no. I told you that I am aw-abiding citizen. They are not kidnapped. They are my assistants! You can borrow the passports for three days and mail them back to me afterwards!”

“Thank you!” Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong expressed their thanks.

Colin sent them to the garage. Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong got into the car and drove away.

They were travelling on the road. Jin Xiangdong turned to Lu Jia’er, “Jia’er, take a nap. You are still suffering from the head injury.”

    “Sure!” Lu Jia’er said, obediently.

Following that, it quieted down in the car. Neither of them talked again.

Jin Xiangdong drove them to the parking lot of Fort Lauderdale International Airport.

An hourter, Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong had boarded the ne flying to Logan International Airport in Boston.

However, they no longer looked like the two people Colin worked on. Instead, they changed into new looks.

As for why they did this, it all started when Lu Jia’er handed Jin Xiangdong a piece of paper two hours ago on their way to the airport.

The words written on the paper was, “This Colin may be involved in Su Han’s kidnapping!”

Jin Xiangdong mouthed his answer to Lu Jia’er, “I know!”

Lu Jia’er wrote another note, “He knows about you and me and pretends to be a mutant like you on purpose! However, he is not! He carries a signal istor with him.”

“I know.” Jin Xiangdong mouthed his reply again.

Soon, they devised a coping n. What happened next was all Lu Jia’er’s contribution. She hypnotized a young couple, helped them disguise and swapped their identities.

As for the disguise, Lu Jia’er made full use of her AI feature of photographic memory. So, unknowingly, Colin’s outstanding disguise skills were stolen by Lu Jia’er and she could do this work faster than Colin.

As for the tools used, Lu Jia’er bought them off of an online ck-market on her phone and paid extra money to have them delivered to the airport while they were on the way.

It could be considered sinister and vicious to swap their identities and that young couple could end up in trouble. However, they had no other choice. For one thing, Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong must be free from Colin’s tracking and for another, they were eager to find out what in the world Colin was up to.

The coordinats that Lu Jia’er gave to Colin were not fake. It was the one that was left by Ian. And the location was in Boston.

Lu Jia’er saw a man three rows up from the back. He lookedpletely strange but Lu Jia’er knew that he was Colin.

Since there was a signal istor on him, Lu Jia’er could not hear his inner voice. However, just because of this, he was following them to Boston.

Jin Xiangdong had looked up the information on this Colin. He was indeed a doctor. As for his secret identity, it had yet to be discovered.
