And on those moons are many different human civilizations, all at each other''s throats for the the most valuable resources Parvum has to offer: Hydrogen, Helium, methane, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and water. And it doesn''t help that there''s an aggressive AI on one of these moons, only being suppressed by a constant atomic bombardment contributed by all the other humans.Naturally, people have abandoned AI out of fear it will become like the one they are at war with.
