Lucinda and Ralph walked out of thepany, the cool night air hitting their faces. Barbie approached them, her high heels clicking on the pavement.
"Hi, Lucinda, how are you?" Barbie asked.
"I am fine," Lucinda replied, trying to hide her exhaustion.
"Are you free tonight? How about youe hang out with me and my friends? Nathan is asking for you, he says he''ll see you at home," Barbie said, grinning at Lucinda. Ralph''s eyes widened in surprise. "Who is Nathan?" Lucinda and Ralph said in unison.
"Are you for real? Don''t you know Nathan, the guy you danced with yesterday?" Barbie said, looking keenly at Lucinda. She stroked her hair backwards.
"I don''t remember," Lucinda muttered, trying to recall anything from the previous night.
"Maybe if you see him, you will remember. I''m going now, bye!" Barbie said, waving as she headed off. Ralph drove them to the restaurant.
As they waited for their food, Lucinda''s mind wandered. She couldn''t remember anything from yesterday, except for the fact that Medusa had given her something to poison Ralph with. She looked into her bag, but it wasn''t there.
"I will do it tomorrow," she said to herself, trying to push the thought out of her mind. She smiled at Ralph, taking the spoon.
"So, tell me about your sister. What does she look like? Is she as beautiful as you?" Ralph asked out of the blue.
Lucinda was taken aback. Why was Ralph suddenly interested in Medusa? She tried topose herself before answering.N?velDrama.Org holds text ? rights.
"Her name is Medusa. She is my elder sister," Lucinda said, taking a bite of her food.
"Oh, elder. Can you introduce her to me sometime?" Ralph asked, his eyes sparkling.
Lucinda nodded, but in her mind, she knew that time would nevere. Ralph would be dead long before then. She smiled evilly as he looked at her, unaware of her dark thoughts. "Is anything wrong?" he asked, noticing her expression.
"No," Lucinda said, forcing a smile. "I can''t believe I haven''t eaten a proper meal since morning."
They finished their food and walked out of the restaurant. Suddenly, a guy bumped into Lucinda, causing her to stumble. She felt like he had taken something from her. "Hey, wait up!" she yelled as the man ran away, waving her hand.
"Did he take anything of yours?" Ralph asked, concerned.
"Yes, my-my phone," Lucinda stuttered, looking into her bag, which now had a big hole in it.
"Wait for me," Ralph said, determinedly running after the thief.
Lucinda watched him go, feeling a sense of sadness wash over her. The thief had just stolen her phone in the blink of an eye, proving that humans were indeed cruel. The night enveloped her as she stood there, alone with her thoughts.
Ralph ran through the dimly lit streets, chasing the man with a fierce determination in his heart. He followed the man as he ran into a building, quickly scanning the area with his x-ray vision. He saw through the walls of the house with ease and located the man hiding inside. With a deep breath, he walked past the building, and the man spotted him, running out of the house in a desperate attempt to escape.
As Ralph appeared in front of him, he couldn''t help but let out a mischievous "Boo!" The man was startled and ran to the other side of the street with the phone. Ralph caught up to him quickly, grabbing the phone from his grasp with a single swift motion. "I don''t mess with amateurs," he dered before disappearing into the night with the phone.
Lucinda was waiting in front of the restaurant when a car pulled up in front of her. Nathan stepped out of the car and walked towards her with a warm smile, attempting to take her hand. "Lucinda, I''m d to see you," he said, but she looked at him with confusion. "Do I know you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Stop being silly, I''ll take you home," he said, still trying to hold her hand. But before he could do so, she pped him hard across the face. "It''s me, Nathan, the guy you danced with at the club yesterday," he exined, and a vision of the previous night shed through Lucinda''s mind.
"I''m sorry?" she said, still unsure, but Ralph appeared out of nowhere and punched Nathan in the face. Lucinda held Ralph back as he attempted to punch him again, while Nathan held his face in pain.
"I''m sorry," she said, trying to calm Ralph down. But he was relentless, swinging another punch towards Nathan''s head. Nathan instinctively blocked the punch and retaliated with an uppercut to Ralph''s neck. Ralph pushed Nathan back, watching as he staggered backwards. He grabbed Nathan''s shirt and pulled him closer, his eyes burning with fury.
Suddenly, a man appeared out of nowhere, interrupting the confrontation. "Excuse me, gentlemen," he said, holding out Ralph''s car keys. "If I may intrude on your little game of who has the biggest dick, I believe this is yours." Ralph stared at the man, his grip on Nathan''s shirt loosening. "Thanks," he muttered, taking the keys and putting them in his pocket. He turned to face Nathan, and they locked eyes.
"Who are you?" they both asked at the same time, their voices filled with anger.
"I asked you first," Ralph growled, his voice deep and menacing.
"I don''t like your attitude," Nathan retorted.
"You don''t like my attitude? That''s fine, I don''t like you either," Ralph replied, his frown deepening.
"Don''t show me your attitude, my middle finger is strong," Nathan said, raising his middle finger in defiance. Ralph attempted to punch him again, but Lucinda held his hand and sighed. "He''s my friend," she exined, but Nathan didn''t seem to care.
"Is he your boyfriend?" Nathan asked, looking at Ralph with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, I am," Ralph replied, his eyes burning with fury.
"Lucinda, is he your boyfriend?" Nathan asked again, and she gave Ralph a sultry look.
"Sir, let''s go," she muttered, and Nathan watched as they walked away, his eyes filled with anger and confusion.
