Chapter 150

    Chapter 150:

    ? ? ? ? ?

Alicia realized that she had greatly underestimated Caden''s wealth.

Standing amidst a sea of ??luxury cars, his expression was one of pure amazement: it seemed like an endless tunnel of extravagance.

This spectacle was even more amazing than any luxury car exhibition I had ever seen.

Caden, arms crossed, watched her as she repeatedly turned her head in wonder.

Iughed lightly. “What? You don’t like any of these?”

Alice looked at him, perplexed. “Are these cars real or just for show?”

“Half real, I guess,” Caden joked. “Most are secondhand.”

    Alice was skeptical.

With his unique personality, it seemed unlikely that he would settle for second-hand cars.

Despite the impressive range, all the cars were ck.Content is property of N?velDrama.Org.

Beyond the make and model, nothing really stood out.

    She felt disinterested in them.

"Do you have anything else?" I have asked.

Caden raised an eyebrow, amused by her uneasiness.

Normally, he would have dismissed such a demand, but he was in a good mood and decided to oblige. “There are a few more cars in the garage at home.”

"That seems like too much trouble," Alice muttered, resigning herself to choosing a license te she liked instead.

However, as he headed to the end of the collection, he saw a striking motorcycle that caught his eye.

His excitement was evident. “Caden! I want this one.”

Caden looked at her and then frowned slightly.

"You''re a little too mature to be riding around town in that, don''t you think?"

His interest usually leaned towards more mature and stable types of vehicles.

He barely remembered who had given him that motorcycle.

It was a new model, born from a coboration with a motorcycle brand, and had been gathering dust in his garage since its arrival.

He hadn''t shown much interest in her.

Alicia, unfazed, reached out to touch the bike. “I''m keeping it. “I rode one in college and it was incredibly cool.”

Caden could see that she was truly delighted with her.

She looked as delighted as a child in a candy store.

He gave in, shrugged, took off his jacket and came over. His build was reminiscent of an international male model, especially his strong, slim legs. Once on the bike, I have mastered it like an experienced rider.

Alicia held on tightly to her clothes, her legs swinging freely as her feet couldn''t touch the ground. Caden put on his helmet and noticed Alicia struggling with the safety buckle.

He turned to help her with the buckle.

Just then, Alice saw the helmet disy light up, like the glowing eyes of a panther at night.

    He smiled. “How cool.”

    Caden responded with a chuckle.

He rified timidly: "I meant the helmet."

Knowing that she admired him greatly, Caden simply smiled and revved the engine.

    Alicia hugged him securely.

Caden had said this was a ride for young thrill-seekers. Once he got going, however, he drove it as aggressively as a race car, cutting through traffic with precision.

At first Aliceughed, but after several idents, all she could do was scream.

The journey was so intense that it seemed like his soul was struggling to keep up with his body.

They weren''t far from Monica''s house, but Caden drove around the overpass several more times. It waste in the day when he finally slowed down.

"Do you want to go for another ride next time?" he asked the woman clinging to him.

Alicia, her arms tight around her waist and her voice shaking, managed to say, "Yes."

    Caden let out a loudugh.

As they approached Monica''s house, Caden slowed his pace.

Exhausted and sleepy, Alice took off her helmet and leaned on her back.

Suddenly, an animal crossed his path, heading straight for his front wheel. Caden immediately braked, narrowly avoiding an ident.

Alice snapped back to alert, confused.

    "What just happened?"

    Caden looked into the distance.

They had nearly run over a scruffy old dog, who was now trembling as he approached the bike, pawing at the steering wheel.

Alice caught her breath as she saw a tiny puppy lying on the ground, barely alive. “She''s trying to get us to help her baby,” she murmured.

    Caden''s expression soured.

“Leave it,” he said, ready to leave.

However, Alice couldn''t leave him there and got off the bike.

She was not one to shy away from getting dirty and immediately picked up the puppy to check on him. The puppy, who was probably only a month old and was starving, instinctively started sucking on her thumb.

Caden looked away, feeling sick at the scene. The mother dog had passed away just after Alicia picked up the pup.

Alicia, heartbroken, looked at Caden pleadingly.

    ?Caden, we have to…?

Caden cut her off abruptly. “No way.”

    Alice paused, surprised.

Realizing that he was not going to help, she said, "Then I''ll take care of it myself."

He wrapped the shivering pup in his helmet.

    “Look, Caden, it fits perfectly.”

Noticing his determination, Caden asked, “And where do you n to store it?”

"At first I''ll leave it with Monica, and when I have my own house, I''ll take it there," he exined.

Caden frowned deeper. “Are you not going to stay in my house anymore?”

"Why should I stay there?" Alice replied, puzzled by his tone.

    Caden replied curtly, “For convenience.”

Alice was momentarily speechless, remembering that, until their recent argument, she had been temporarily staying at her house.

    I have pondered your question.

"If I decide to keep the puppy, will you let me keep it?"

Caden was speechless, not knowing what to answer.
