Chapter 566:
Once theughter faded, she tried to regain herposure.
“I’m still mad.
Let’s be serious.”
But Monica hadn’t finished chuckling when Caden’s call came through again.
Finally, Alicia decided to answer.
Caden asked again, “Where are you?”
Alicia raised an eyebrow and replied, “I’m at home.”
Caden’s tone was skeptical.
“Are you sure?”
Alicia retorted, “Why are you asking if you don’t believe me?”
Caden fell silent for two seconds.
“If I get home and don’t see you, tonight I’ll go six times, switching positions each time, and make you… well, let’s just say, it’ll be quite the night.”
Alicia’s heart skipped a beat.
Blushing, she shot a nce at Monica, who had been eavesdropping, and hung up the phone.
But Monica had heard everything, stifling herughter with a hand over her mouth, her eyes crinkling with mirth.
“Oh my gosh!” she eximed, unable to contain herself.
“Six times in one night? Even a marathon runner would be wiped out!”
Alicia’s cheeks red with heat.
She hadn’t expected Caden to say something that suggestive.
“No, he’s not that impressive,” she replied, her voice faltering.
Monica nced at Alicia’s flushed cheeks, remembering the time when Alicia and Caden were at their best, when every day together had been cherished.
With a yful grin, Monica leaned against Alicia and asked, “So, tell me, which position do you like best?”
Alicia initially wanted to tease Monica.
Since Monica was single, Alicia expected her to shy away from such topics.
To her surprise, Monica dove right in with a question that was far from suitable for politepany.
Alicia made a split-second decision to steer her friend back on track and quickly changed the subject.
“Have you seen Corey trending online recently?” she asked.
Monica immediately perked up, and the two of them gossiped for a while.
They mostly condemned Corey for his crimes and agreed that he deserved everythinging to him.
Even his good looks couldn’t save him from the notoriety brought about by his crude and hical behavior.
“I heard they’re looking for a chip repair engineer,” Monica suddenly said.
“Didn’t you work on that chip project back then, Alicia? Do you think you’re up for it?”
