Chapter 438

"This won''t do." Ethan suddenly spoke up, his tone firm andmanding. "Evelyn is the most valuable asset of Grayson Group. Her opinion undoubtedly carries the utmost importance. Charles, bring all the design ns here. I want her to review them thoroughly."This is the property of N?-velDrama.Org.

"Yes, Mr. Grayson," Charles responded respectfully.

I silently groaned in frustration. What did Ethan mean by this? Was he testing me? But I knew nothing about interior design.

Just as I was feeling caught between a rock and a hard ce, Ethan shot me a cold nce. He asked in a low voice, "What''s the matter? Anything that you aren''t happy about?"

"N-No." I quickly shook my head. "I''ll fully cooperate with your arrangements, Mr. Grayson."

I couldn''t help but feel that once it came to work, Ethan seemed like apletely different person. He was being too serious! Still, I supposed that was understandable.

"That''s more like it." Ethan nodded satisfactorily. "I believe you''ll surely bring something unexpected to the branch with your vision and talent. By the way, do you think it''s time to change the logo?"

"Huh?" I froze. "Change the logo? But..."

"The current one feels outdated. Now that we''re expanding internationally, we need something that aligns with global standards. Don''t you think so?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.

I was left speechless. What had gotten into him?

I was a fashion designer, not a logo designer! How was I even supposed to respond to that?

Charles seemed to notice my difort and quickly intervened. "Mr. Grayson, changing the logo is a major decision. Perhaps we should hold a board meeting to discuss it first? After all, it''s crucial for thepany''s image, and we should proceed with caution."

"I said we''re changing it," Ethan interrupted him coldly. "Charles, I''m the one making decisions here. Just carry out my orders. Are you clear?"

Charles''s expression changed. He quickly lowered his head and replied, "Yes, Mr. Grayson. I''ll make the necessary arrangements immediately."

With that, Charles quickly excused himself, leaving me alone with Ethan.

I took a deep breath and said cautiously, "Mr. Grayson, shouldn''t we reconsider? What if the new design fails to meet expectations and tamishes thepany''s image? That would be a significant

    setback..."

"I''ve already made up my mind," Ethan cut in, shooting me an impatient look. "Don''t tell me that Grayson Group''s top designer can''t even handle a logo redesign?" His words stung. A wave of frustration surged inside me.

"Alright," I replied, forcing a smile. "Rest assured, Mr. Grayson. I''ll deliver the perfect logo design."

"Good." Ethan nodded approvingly. "Alright, get to work. I expect to receive your initial draft after the meeting tonight."

Without another word, he turned and walked away.

I stood there, dazed. It was as if Ethan hadpletely transformed. He was a different person from the one I had seen entering and leaving the hotel. Could it be that he was reverting to his old self?

I shook my head and tried to push aside the whirlwind of thoughts swirling in my mind. This wasn''t the time for doubt and confusion. I had to focus and give everything I''d got toplete the task he hado assigned me.

That was right. I was the best fashion designer. How could designing a logo possibly be a challenge for me?

I clenched my fists with resolve. No

matter what Ethan''s true intentions were, I would prove to him that was the one truly deserving of the title "Grayson Group''s top designer"!
