Chapter 511 Ray Of Hope

    Chapter 511 Ray Of Hope

The time being disyed on the clock now was eighty-five minutes and at that moment, Marcel was quickly racing down the left wing with the ball.

The winger was about to run into Norman when he sent the ball rolling back to Duncan.

They were starting to attack seriously now after their manager saw just how dangerous Unique FC were starting to get with their attacks.

He was aware that if he didn''t do something quickly then Unique FC might end up getting that second goal and that would leave them in the dust.

What he wanted to do was get a goal in this match, a goal that would make their goal aggregate four goals to two andpletely shatter every ounce of hope Unique FC had of winning the match.

There had been a couple of changes in the meantime, Norman made three changes which included recing Martinez with Minino, Merino with Fredinho, and finally, Aima was reced by Pirlo.

That looked like thest changes he was going to be making the game as there were only five minutes of normal y time left.

The only changes Lyon''s manager made was recing two of the midfielders backing Duncan up.

They had not really done anything impactful in the game so far so he was hoping that their recements were going to change that.

Duncan pushed the ball to the midfielder on his right who had the name Alex written below the number twenty-two on the back of his shirt, and just a second after getting his foot on the ball, Alex sent the ball rolling to Antoine down the right wing.

"Antoine," Jim uttered. "Things are really heating up here, Unique FC have to avoid conceding a goal while trying to get that equalizer with just four minutes left in the game."

"Yeah, they''re backed in the corner. Lyon have the advantage but it''s not a very strong one, everything they''ve built up coulde crumbling at any moment if they''re not careful." Steve articted.

Antoine was in front of Rnd now trying to confuse the full-back with his leg overs, and after wasting the wing-back''s time for a while, he sent the ball to Mason.

"Pushes it to Mason but there''s no way for him to break through."

The striker was well aware that there was no way for him to break through and dribbling wasn''t an option in the position he was in but there was no need for him to do any of that.

He quickly tried to force his way through the defense before he tried and sent the ball rolling back to Duncan.

The midfielder quickly pushed forward with the ball before quickly pulling his right foot back just before both Ferran and Frankie could get to him.

"Oh, he''s going to try his luck from here!"

    "Uh oh." Dave gasped.

Everyone thought he was going to shoot and that was just what he wanted them to think as he suddenly turned to the right and lobbed the ball over to that side in an attempt to find Antoine.

Rnd was still caught in the moment of thinking the midfielder took the shot so he didn''t exactly notice when the winger slipped past him.

However, he was able to quickly realize what was going on and closed up on Antoine just as he brought the ball down with his head.

He didn''t give the winger the space to move closer to the box with it and that left him with no other choice than crossing it in.

Mason and Duncan were already inside the box as he quickly floated the ball in in an attempt to find them but just before anyone in the box could get their head on the ball, Dave quickly stepped forward and grabbed the ball with both of his gloves without bringing anyone but himself down.

"Oh,e on!" Antoine bit his lower lip before kicking the floor.

"I''m not taking that risk." The goalkeeper muttered before he quickly sprang up on his feet and sent the ball flying toward Mateo a little to the right.

Mateo brought the ball down right near the halfway line but he couldn''t really start a counterattack because a couple of Lyon defenders had already zoomed past him.

However, there were spaces that they were yet to cover and he was nning to take advantage of that.

The winger quickly took off with the ball down the right wing with Duncan hot on his trail as he had a lot of space to cover on that side.

"Mateo quickly taking off with the ball, can hee up with something with just a minute of normal time left?"

The winger was about to run into Levi when he quickly sent the ball rolling to Frankie who was a little ahead of him and was just about to close up on the edge of the box.

There was a yer right in front of him, but the midfielder used the momentum of the moving back to get the ball past him before slipping past him himself.

The midfielder had a clear path to shoot from now but with yersing in from both sides in front of him and the other yersing from behind, it wasn''t going tost for long.

"It''s a clear path for Frankie, could this be that moment?!"

The midfielder didn''t hesitate in pulling his right foot back, and just as his boot connected with the ball once again, he sent it flying toward the top left bin.

    "Frankie!"

He seemed to have aimed too high because, from that close-up, Giovanni didn''t really have the reaction speed.

There wasn''t really anything he could do besides watch as the ball flew into the goalpost and pulled the back as if it was going to tear through it.

The fans who were hanging on the edge of their seat before he took the shot quickly sprang up from their seats and began to scream as loud as they could as the midfielder took off his shirt and began to fling it as he raced to the sidelines.

"Just as the time hit the nieth minute, Frankie took the shot in search of that goal of hope and he did note back empty-handed. While he has brought the ray of hope to his people with that goal, he has shattered the spirits of his opponents." Jim expressed with an enthusiastic voice.

"A wonderful strike from Frankie to equalize the aggregate scoreline and give his team that advantage."

The yers were still running wild in front of the fans who weren''t any different, and while they were doing that, Dave was busy punching the air inside his box with a broad smile on his face.

<Looks like you guys might just escape this one>
