    [3rd Pov] [Location - Happy Harbor]


    Roughly an hour after the mission briefing, the team was at Happy Harbor High School. Gwen was on the roof of the school, a bored look on her face under the mask.


    She already knew how this mission was going to go, but wasn''t going to stop it''s direction. Her true goal was to yoink the Fog. A powerful and useful piece of technology that could be of some genuine use to her, especially in future worlds.


    The sort of technology could be a genuine godsend in future worlds, being able to take the knowledge from otherputer systems, servers, etc is useful as hell.


    ''Hmm, they''ve probably set up the link by now'' Gwen thought with a hum, knowing that M''gann cannot get into her mind, no matter how hard she tries.


    "I set up a link with the rest" M''gann said as she floated to Gwen''s side, knowing that Gwen''s mind was immune to her mind reading,munication, and all the other neat little telepathy she can do.


    "I thought so...so, when are we gonna have that next date?" Gwen said with a grin, turning to M''gann who blushed brightly at the question.


    "Uh-uhm" M''gann sputtered, trying to answer, while also trying to ignore the teasing voices in her head, from Dick, as everyone who was connected to her in her mind, knew what M''gann was talking of.


    "Hmm, how about we talk about this after? Give you some time to think on it" Gwen said with a soft smile, noticing M''gann was getting incredibly flustered right now.


    "O-okay" M''gann said before floating off in a hurry.


    ''God she is adorable'' Gwen thought with a smirk, before returning to her lookout.


    Gwen simply stood on the roof, waiting, before blinking when Dick came up behind her.


    "Cmon, we found the fog, you, Superboy, and I are gonna pursue"


    Gwen grinned under her mask, and nodded. "Alright, let''s get going then" Gwen said, making the n to take the fog in her head.


    Gwen followed after Dick, hopping off the roof to follow the other two into the bio-ship.


    "Who do you think the next target is going to be?" Dick asked, as the three sat in each of their chairs.


    "Star Labs. It''s one of the best in the Country, and has all sorts of useful knowledge in it''s database" Gwen replied with a shrug, knowing that it was the prime target for any normal person.


    Gwen still couldn''t understand why the Shadows weren''t more quiet with their data stealing. Instead of taking it quietly and quickly, they destroyed entire buildings for no point, other than to destroy.


    Gwen already nned on yoinking some useful data, but only from evil/not so nice organizations. She wasn''t dumb enough to go after groups protected by the Justice League. Which basically meant that Cadmus, Lexcorp, and a few others, were the primary targets she was nning on going after.

    The trio had just made it to Phdelphia, there target for where the Fog was tracked to.


    "Robin to Aqud. We''re over Phdelphia. We''ve located the Shadows next target. Star Labs. But...It''s toote, it''s been destroyed. The fog decimated itpletely" Dick said with a look of genuine surprise on his face, looking over the destroyed Star Labs.


    "This is bad...Star Labs is cutting edge science, and now their secrets are in the hands of the enemy. What''s our next move?" Dick asked to Aqud through their long rangems. "We''re moving the doctor" Aqud said through them link, before shutting it back off. "What''s the next target going to be sis? If we move now, we can get close to where you think it is, as long as it isn''t too far" Dick said, turning to Gwen.


    "A Waech facility. The tech there is advanced, and could be used to hack-" "I know...that has to be it! There should be a Waech facility nearby" Dick said, cutting off Gwen as he navigated the bio-ship in order to reach the facility in time.


    "As long as we get there before them, we won''t have to worry about evacuating the workers" Gwen said, knowing that they were going to be ahead of the other two, now that she was getting them ahead of schedule.


    "Alright, it won''t take long to get there!" Dick said, as the bio-ship sped to their target.


    ''Alright...time to fake the destruction of that thing'' Gwen thought, as they began to get closer to their destination.


    "I can get close to the vehicle they''re in by going invisible, if needed. If I have to, I can just blow the thing up before they can use the fog anymore" Gwen said, causing the other two to


    nod.


    Eventually they made it to the waech facility. Floating above it, the group silently waited, with Gwen webbing to the ground and going invisible.


    ''The symbiote should be able to absorb the thing easy enough. With all the knowledge crammed into my brain, reprogramming and upgrading the thing should be easy. I just need to make sure it''s untrackable by the Roquette, or anyone else for that matter'' Gwen thought, knowing that the task would be simple enough, with a brain like hers. It would just need to be carefully done, and be done quickly, in order to not be caught.


    It didn''t take long before a very suspicious van pulled up, the other two noticed it as well. "That''s definitely them, remember, try to let me get close first. If that doesn''t work, then move in"


    "''"''Got it"''" Dick and Superboy responded, as the van parked.


    Gwen quickly moved forward, but not too fast so as to alert the man inside. Her eyes widened as her spider sense red, she quickly dodged to the left as a powerful beam mmed against where she was just standing, as the man inside, Professor Ojo, just finished firing some sort ofser from his helmet.


    Quickly dashing forward, she through a punch to his face, which he quickly dodged, only to be tripped up and a fist to get mmed into his stomach. ''Cmon use the damn thing again'' Gwen thought, grinning inwardly as the helmet on his head glowed, preparing theser attack


    again.


    The second she saw this, she struck him again, this time in the back of the head, forcing him to look down, as the helmet was moments away from firing. Seeing this, Gwen didn''t hesitate to quickly web the fog to her, before absorbing it into her symbiote, and jumping away.


    *BOOOM* A loud boom sounded in the parking lot, as the van that Gwen was previously fighting the man in, blew up from theser firing into it.


    "Was he-" "...Yes. I couldn''t stop the helmet he had from firing again" Gwen said softly, lying


    her ass off, as she felt something change within the symbiote,


    ''This?'' Gwen thought dumbly, as her mind was mmed with knowledge...from the databases the fog had taken from. Thankfully, her mind was more than powerful enough to deal with the influx of literal tens of thousands of terrabytes of knowledge.


    ''oh...I can work with this'' Gwen grinned out inwardly, as she refocused on her brother, who had a hand on her shoulder.


    "It''s not your fault Gwen. There was nothing you could do" He said with a sigh, as he looked at the burning van, which was housing the now dead Professor Ojo.


    "I know. I just wish I could have stopped him" Gwen said with a sigh, as Robin then spoke into


    hisms.


    "Robin to Aqud. The fogs been destroyed...along with the guy trying to use it" Robin said, before a response came in.


    "Everythings clear on our end. And, Gwen...it''s not your fault. But, good work anyways. See you back at the Mountain, over and out" Aqud said into thems.


    "Let''s get back, alright?" Dick said, causing Gwen to nod with a fake sigh. Before following behind the two, a small grin making its way onto her face.


    ''The Fog huh? Nah...let''s call it...''

    And whoo, a new use of the symbiote has been unlocked! I know that some symbiote''s have


    new and unique abilities, some adapted to the user itself. So, I thought why not have the fog get used for something new, and VERY helpful in the future?~


    Anyways, any ideas for the new fog? I was thinking something with Toxin or Symbiote in the title. Like one of these ones: The Toxin gue, The Symbiote gue.


    Or something else. Thisbination will be shown more in the next chapter, and it will have more uses in the future, that you can be sure of. As I realized that she hasn''t really gotten


    anything unique or new that isn''t from a character, so, she''s going to start getting entirely new and powerful abilities that she creates, or are created as a result of the other abilities.


    Sorry about the quallity of the chapter, but I am real tired right now, but I wanted to at least get something out tonight. Unique Gamer will get uploadedter today, idk when.
