Chapter 3725 - Although they had $200,000 to support them, Liberty and her sister were just children-15 and 10 years old- when their parents died. They had been pampered and had never faced hardships. Losing their parents and being kicked out of the house was a shock. Liberty''s younger sister, Serenity, was especially upset, often crying because she missed their parents.

When Libertyforted her, both of them would often end up crying. Now, Liberty could understand how Kathryn was feeling.

Kathryn, however, was luckier than Liberty and her sister. Kathryn was nearly 30 years old, and her father had three brothers, so no one could force her out of the house.

Kathryn said, "I''ll take a break and go for a walk. Thank my cousin for me. Ask her when she ns to hand over thepany and family matters, and I''ll cooperate whenever she''s ready. I don''t me any of you for my mother''s death."

Her mother was responsible for her own actions. Even if she hadn''tmitted suicide, she wouldn''t have survived prison.

    Liberty replied, "Okay."

Then Kathryn added, "You should get back to work now, but don''t stay toote. Go home and rest early."

Liberty stood up, gave Kathryn a few more reminders, and said goodbye. Outside, Liberty ran into Pedro.

Pedro greeted her, and they chatted briefly. Liberty told him, "Take good care of Kathryn. Make sure she gets out, rxes, and rests. Health is the most important thing right now."

"Thank you, Miss Hunt, for your concern for Kathryn. I will."

Liberty trusted Pedro. He loved Kathryn deeply and would take good care of her. Liberty said, "I''m busy too, so I''ll head back now."

Pedro watched Liberty get into her car and leave before he entered the Farrell Group building.

On her way back to work, Liberty received a call from Duncan. “Duncan."

Now that everything was resolved, Liberty felt much more at ease, and Duncan seemed to feel the same.

"Liberty, are you busy?" Duncan asked with a smile. "If you''re free, can you pick me up from the airport? If not, I''ll grab a taxi.”

"You''re here?" Liberty''s voice was calm, but she couldn''t hide the smile on her face.

They usually kept in touch through phone calls or video chats. Duncan missed her a lot, though Liberty was a bit more focused on work and only really thought about him and her son, Sonny, in the evenings when she could rx.

"Now that rissa and her assistant are gone, there''s no danger for me here. If you hadn''t insisted I stay away, I would''vee sooner. didn''t want to be a burden to you or let you face everything alone

Duncan had alreadynded. He was in a wheelchair, being pushed by a bodyguard while another one carried his suitcase.

He nned to stay until Liberty could take a break, and then they would return to Wiltspoon together. With Sonny away, it would be a chance for them to finally spend some time alone.

In the past, they were always careful around Sonny, exchanging only brief looks, afraid to be too affectionate in front of him.

"Have you gotten off the ne?" Liberty asked.

"Yes, we''re just leaving the airport now. Actually, don''t bothering to me up— it''s more than an hour''s drive. I''ll just take a taxi so you don''t have to rush." Please check at N/?vel(D)rama.Org.

This way, Duncan wouldn''t have to wait too long at the airport.
