    Kondo awakens. And with a morning routine no different than the others before, he leaves home for the Academy.


    However this time, he takes a detour to secluded part of a park, created his clone and left it there with a few books before continuing on his way.


    He tolerates the morning classes until the practical session begins and he spends some quality time with his favorite tomboy.


    After classes, Kondo poofs the clone and checks his status. The increase in his Intelligence Stat fills him with glee.


    He makes his way to an empty restroom, creates a clone and leaves first. He intends to train while the clone researches Tenketsu Points and Electricity related stuff here at the library.


    During his training session, he thought about infusing Lightning Chakra into his [Chakra Beam] and [Chakra Blade]; deciding to try it next time.


    After running himself to the ground, he drags his tired self home. When he arrived, his father who was reading the papers today as well gave him the news he''s been waiting for.


    A Genin team would wait for 10 minutes at a meeting place 30 minutes after the Academy ends classes. If he makes it to the meeting place on time he''ll be allowed to tag along on their extermination mission. If not, they''ll assume he''s not joining that day and leave without him. He''s not allowed to join them after they have left, though.


    As previously discussed, everything he exterminates belongs to Genin team as compensation for allowing him to tag along as well as look after him.


    Their first meeting will happen tomorrow and continue everyday until otherwise. If the team wouldn''t show that day, they are to leave a note for Kondo detailing that. And if they didn''t show up without leaving a note, Kondo should assume they had other things to do on short notice and carry on with his day.


    With all that said and done Kondo ends his day thinking about what movesets from Moriya he''d like to copy.


    NEXT DAY (Y5.M6.W2.D5)


    Morning rolls around and the routine is the same. Kondo leaves his clone at the Library and sets off for the meeting place. Kondo takes his time walking there. By his estimation, he should be get there in 15 minutes with time to spare. This gives him time to think.


    "I wonder if my clone can gain XP when it unalives things. It''d be a great if it could. Guess I''ll have to test it next time.


    I should also consider sending a clone to scout out the other Academies. I have to find out where Team 7 and Guy''s Academies are, and by extension where the team members live: Sakura, Naruto, Rock Lee and Tenten.


    Sakura shouldn''t be enrolling for a couple years. Team Guy may enrol in a year or two. Naruto repeated 3 times, so he should be enrolled right now. He''s the one I need to find. I''ll renew my search every year to find the Team Guy Academy if it''s not the same as the Team 7 one.


    Best to build a rapport with them early. It feels like I''m just getting close to them to take advantage of them. It''s true, but they''re not getting hurt, plus it''s not like I''ll cut ties afterwards.


    Besides, I''d like to make Tenten and I a thing. Will have to do something about her outfit though. It''s not doing her justice. Mana and I''ve got something special going on right now. Nothing romantic. Heck! I doubt we''re even friends; more like sparring buddies. But something can happen. I''m not staying friend zoned if I can help it.


    I wonder what the Genin team are like. Hopefully they''re not a bunch of jerks. I know I''m a freshman at the Academy and younger still. Welp! So long as they let me penta-kill coons I''ll tolerate them."


    Kondo finally arrives at the meeting place: A dango shop. No Anko in sight, though. Not like Ichiraku''s the only ramen place either.


    "Ichiraku Ramen!!! I completely forget about them! If I find it I''ll find Naruto. If I find Naruto I can follow him back to his apartment and his own Ninja Academy where I can find Sakura too. That''s half the search done like that."


    Having time to kill, he decides to buy some dango to eat. "Hmm... Not bad. I now get why Anko loves these." As he finishes eating he sees three teens enter the shop. The lock eyes and move over to him.


    "You Kondo?" Asks a dude wearing a bandana. "Yup, that''s me!" Bows Kondo. "It''s nice to meet you all." He continues.


    Another team member: a normal brown haired girl steps forward. "Nice to meet you too, Kondo-kun." Kondo nods back.


    The third member nods without saying a word. Kondo''s eyes widen in shock. ''Dafuq are you?!'' After getting a closer look, Kondo can''t believe his eyes. Because the person standing right in front of him bears a striking resemblance to Shion from King of Fighters. Except for the fact that the person is much younger, has shorter hair and has closed eyes with glasses, its basically a clone of Shion. Even the outfit is the same.


    Kondo ends up gawking for awhile, which causes Lil Shion to tilt his/her head in confusion. To the sides, Dude sniggers while Brown shakes her head in exasperation. Kondo finally catches himself and apologizes for his behaviour. They wave him off and explain that that happens alot.


    Introductions are made, a short discussion is had and all 4 head off to do some hunting. Each day they patrol a different sector of Konoha: checking dumpsters in the area and ending at that sector''s landfill.


    Kondo is only tagging along for 2 hours, so it''s a tossup if he''ll take part in the landfill raid. For the time he''s with them, however, he''s going to be responsible for neutralizing the vermin.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.


    Senbon needles are recommended as they don''t create a mess unlike kunai and shuriken. A headshot for an instakill, or a body shot with a needle dipped in a paralyzing substance; So long as it''s brought down quickly and cleanly.


    In no time the group approach their first Coon occupied dumpster. Dude nods in Kondo''s direction. Kondo nods back readying his Senbon. Dude heads over to the dumpster, opens the small door on the face of it, and bangs on the side of the structure before backing away to the side.


    Soon after, a raccoon sticks it''s head out of the opening and receives Senbon between the eyes for his troubles. It promptly falls to the ground, lifeless.


    <50XP gained>


    ''Yes!'' Kondo celebrates in his mind. Dude walks over to the cadaver and whistles in astonishment. "Not bad, kid. That''s some sick aim." Dude compliments as Lil Shion seals their catch in a scroll.


    "Thanks! I practice alot." Kondo responds. Dude nods in understanding before continuing. "Listen up, team! We''re splitting up to cover more ground. We''ve got plenty of firepower to do so. We''ll rendezvous at the landfill in an hour. Any questions?"


    After ironing out the details, the team splits up. Brown and Dude head one way, while Kondo and Lil Shion head in another. Kondo is feeling both excited and nervous. Excited for the XP gained, and nervous now he''s alone with who was basically his biggest King of Fighters waifu even after he found out it was a guy.


    And the fact that this version is the silent type isn''t helping matters. Kondo then shakes his head to get his wits about him. ''Quit acting like some friend zoned simp, Kondo! Keep your eyes on the prize. You''re here to ethnically cleanse some raccoons. You''ve goy plenty of time to gush later. Be a man, Kondo! Be a man!''


    Lil Shion suddenly stops, breaking him out of his... moment. Then proceeds to point. Kondo follows the finger and spots a possum ravaging a trash bag. It notices them, then immediately makes a break for it, but is halted with a Senbon to the back of the head.


    <50xp gained><Level up>


    ''Eyes on the prize!'' The cadaver is sealed and the two continue with their patrol. They eventually rendezvous with the other half of the team at the landfill. It was a decent haul: 20 for Brude and 18 for Shiondo.


    "Good work, team. This is already a bigger haul than we usually get. Now is time for the fun part. Remember, everything but the birds. Let''s go!"


    The team get into formation to comb through the landfill. Vermin dropped left and right. After an hour long slaughterfest, Kondo himself racked up 32 kills. That''s 2500XP total!


    With his 2 hours up, he bids everyone goodbye and heads home; happy with how his day turned out. When he got home, he tried to hug his father, but was stopped by a palm to the face.


    "I''m guessing your first day went well?" Isamu says while keeping Kondo at bay.


    "All thanks to you, Dad. You''re the greatest!" Beams Kondo.


    "Easy there, you''ll make your mother jealous at this rate. I''m guessing you''re eager for our little excursion outside to hunt wild boars?"


    "Sure am! I can''t wait." Responds Kondo elated.


    <Lvl 5: 1100/1600 XP>


    NEXT DAY (Y5.M6.W2.D6).


    Kondo''s making his way to the Dango Shop thinking about how to immobilize the Raccoons with his ninjutsu. He came up with some ideas.


    - Firing a lightning infused sphere of chakra from his palm like a mini-bijudama,


    - His Chakra Beam, but lightning infused.


    - Tazer Palm: coating his palm in lightning chakra and grabbing the Coon.


    He intends to create a couple Skills after his time with the Genin team. When he arrived at the meeting place, he met the team already seated. They waved him over and he joined them.


    "Glad you could join us, Mr MVP. Go on, make an order with the rest of us, we can''t wipe these here streets of Konoha of vermin on empty stomachs." Offers Dude. Apparently they agreed to have a group meal before the mission from now henceforth, and the Genin Team will foot the bill.


    Kondo gladly received their generosity, and soon after, they''re off to the races. This sector was a little less forthcoming with prey, but Kondo still walked away with a handsome 46 kills.


    <Lvl 6: 1800/3200 XP>


    After his 2 hours were up he made his way to the training grounds. With his list of soon-to-be Skills.


    - Raidama: Lightning bomb.


    - Raibīmu: Lightning beam.


    - Denji Sensu: Electromagnetic sense.


    He arrives, takes a seat, proceeds to dismiss the clone he left at the Academy Library, and take in the info on electricity he''s been researching.


    First off is the Raibīmu: Lightning beam. He''s already got the chakra beam, so just adding lightning chakra should do the trick. He gives it a try, and it works!

    "That was easy." Kondo admits as he admires the tiny smoldering hole he had shot a couple inches into a tree.


    "It''s faster and has more penetration power than my regular chakra beam despite being lower leveled. Not bad. Off to a great start. Next off, Raidama!"


    Kondo directs chakra to the palm of his right hand. He shapes it into a small ball before he starts applying Lightning Release to the sphere. Nothing seems to happen at first, but after awhile it started getting noisy; sounding like a tazer, then it started getting louder.


    <A Skill Has Been Created Through A Specific Action: Kaminari-kyū (Active)>


    "Lightning Sphere, eh? Not going to call it Raidama? Fine, have it your way." Kondo said before aiming at one tree and firing the technique. The sphere makes contact with the tree and immediately disintegrates. Tiny arcs of lightning are seen spreading outward from the epicenter for only a split second before disappearing. "That''s a wrap. Next~"


    Kondo sits down in a meditative pose as he activates [Meditation] to increase his chakra sensitivity. He then proceeds to control chakra around his index finger. He makes a string of chakra protrude from the base of said finger. There is a <ding> sound immediately after, but he ignores it as the concentrates on the task at hand.


    He then makes this thread thinner and thinner until it''s the thickness of hair. Then he wraps the hair thin chakra thread around his finger like a coil until it reaches just below the fingernail where it reconnects to his skin.


    After that, Kondo proceeds to inject minute levels of lightning chakra through the thread; creating an inductor. Another <ding> goes off which is promptly ignored as Kondo directs all his concentration to his finger in hopes of feeling something.


    He does feel something, but it''s hard to describe. It''s like a new alien sensation. Like he had a 7th sense, but it didn''t show itself till now so it''s very underdeveloped. Like how a newly born baby is different degrees of blind. He immerses himself in the sensation hoping to get a better feel for it. He does this for over 30 minutes with zero change.


    Frustrated, he decides to call it quits for now. "This castle ain''t getting built today. Let''s see my consolation prizes, then."
