A catastrophic meltdown at a Texas thorium plant sets it all in motion—the Cascade, a freakish chain of disasters that, let’s be honest, no one saw coming. Six years ago, Alex Hartman, a brilliant scientist who still can’t shake the loss of his wife under the strangest circumstances, teams up with an enigmatic investor named Vivek (don’t ask—he’s got his own secrets). Together, they build a next-level quantum computer called AlephNull, inspired by the way our own minds hum along, until it spits out a truth that’ll make you want to close your eyes: the Cascade isn’t random, and luck is a weapon. Something called the Great Enforcer—somehow both ancient and unsettlingly modern—is calling the shots, setting disasters loose like a cosmic game of dominoes. Now Hartman, Vivek, and their team find themselves racing against a ticking clock, desperate to crack the Enforcer’s motives. They need a weapon—something with enough punch to push back against this devastating force. As they dig deeper into quantum weirdness, they stumble into a conspiracy that’s so old it practically predates stardust, and it might just rewrite everything we’ve ever taken for granted. With everything riding on their next move, they have to ask themselves a terrifying question: Are we, as a species, actually ready for what’s on the other side of our own technological genius?I started writing this book because I wanted to explore a sci- fi scenario where probability was the main weapon, and an antagonist that will wield just that. Somewhere set in the near future, where humanity has set up a base on the moon, discovered fusion, has something like Neuralink- but everything is in early stages. I want to continue the world building and eventually make this a three book series.Updates: Every Saturday/Sunday or Wednesday
